Jackson Collie Dog's Kennel Companion - Lo! There in the distance, glowing with an unmistakeable fervor, she lingers enticingly over a secret lagoon. The purple light reflects any who behold the spectacle are bathed in a mix of anguished aqua, betrothed blue, grandiose green, and deep purple. "The color of royalty" it was once said. To some it is only a guitar, Squier stratocaster, but to me she has a name. And That Name Is Purple Glory. What wizard cast his spell to enchant this magical being? What warlock whispered the terribly sweet nothings that created such a power? I can only sigh and continue to admire the gift bestowed upon me until the last ounce of wonder vacates my doggie bones. And will that then be enough? Can I ever do this sweet mystery justice? For the answer I call to my stunning purple jewel, "Give me the strength to rock when I may, the heart to relent when the time is not right, and the wisdom to know the difference between the two." Nay, I am no more than a mortal being, but I have found a tool with which I can make myself heard by the gods. And I hear them say, "Rock On, Rock On, for the sake of all, Please Rock On." What fool would deny such a calling? So we dance. Let's Dance. One foot follows the other, while we sway to the music that only two star crossed lovers could make.
Miss Mother Kitten--When I'm playing bass for Drawing On Steve I like to rock it with my sweet 1978 Peavey T-40. With its swamp ashbury body and an option between single coil pick-up and humbucker, this bass sounds totally awesome whether I am playing Emo, Post-Historical Rock, Reggae, Alternative General, or just jamming with my bros in GL. I most definately would recommend this bass to almost anyone who can find it. I got mine from Jim's Music. Jim himself sold it to me for a special bargain price, probably for being so handsome. I run this mean machine through a Peavey TNT115 150 Watt amp (one 15" Black-Widow speaker). This puppy has some bitchin' overdrive. Somtimes when Drawing On Steve wants to step it up a notch we'll run the bass through my Electro-harmonix Bass Micro-Synthesizer. Jackson Collie Dog used this monster pedal on one of our latest recordings, "Wizards & Warlocks".
Miss Sister Kitten--Nothing beats the feeling I get when I pick up my guitar and look at the badass sticker I put on it.
