The Forever Islands
As the Misty Mountain Range spreads north into the sea and the White Fang Mountain Range spreads west, they create a long sweeping chain of islands called the Forever Islands. These mountainous islands range in size from a few acres to miles across and there are hundreds of islands within this chain, stretching for over 900 miles.
These islands are divided into three groups from north to south. The ice islands include the dense area off the end of the White Fang Mountains. The islands of Four Mountains include the more sparsely scattered central islands. And the Shrouded Islands include the southern end of the chain.
To the northern part of the chain the islands become volcanic with frequent active volcanoes. Anyone sailing into this area will find a treacherous stretch of water; with countless islands, rough seas, cold northern waters and hidden shallows.
