Fir darrigs, or Fear deargs as they also are called, are nasty rat-faced faerie who love to play cruel and macabre tricks on human victims. They are known to roast the flesh of the recently buried( though they like the flesh to be rotting)and eat it.They often come begging to mortals during times of famine and turmoil, and though they are repulsive, it is very bad luck not to let one warm it's filthy bones by your fire.What's worse, sometimes the bones aren't even theirs.
