In Molten Crater, when you get to the place where you have to supercharge a thief get really close to him then stop.

Flame him and the egg should be you'rs!(this must be done very quickly.)

Don't think I'm on Sunrise Spring I'm actually on Midnight Mountains.

When battling the boss's jump around so he can't hit you.

Buzz: When he does the charge, face him, just when he is about to hit you charge right past. He can't turn sharp enough.

2nd Boss: Can't remember the name. Hit him as much as you can in the stage with the ball things before he crashes them.

Scorch: Keep charging. There is a little bomb thing too, DON'T TOUCH IT.

Sorceress: Keep charging and be careful. Watch out for sheep. Kill a few before you gone in. Then you are likely to get a blue butterfly.

Don't complain to me if they don't work. They worked for me.

WAIT!

Don't spend so much time looking for gems. Just follow these simple steps.

1- Beat the sorceress (once)
2- go to sunrise spring, midday gardens, evening lake, & midnight mountain (in that order) and defeat the sparx worlds. Sparx receives special abilities for this. They are:

1st world- can pick up gems from farther away.
2nd world- can point to any remaining treasure. Sparx will not tell you if the there are gems in the warp places until you go inside them.

3rd world- extra hit for spyro. there isn't a different color for the extra hp so eat 1 more butterfly after sparx is golden to be safe.
4th world- can break treasure boxes open and level warp.

P.S.- you can tell if sparx is pointing you look around. If he's not pointing sparx will look the same way you did...

In the level where you fight the Sorceress, you will eventually get to ride a sheep saucer. If you do it correctly you can shoot down the sheep like Agent 9, here's how.

Once you get a sheep saucer fly out to the outer rim where Agent 9 runs around flying low turn around sharply and make the sheep saucer point upward while shooting, if your lucky, or if good at aiming you'll shoot one down.

This is very helpful if your low on heath. P.S. If you shoot down enough you can have a little sheep farm in the arena.

To get to the super secret bonus level you have to get all 15000 gems and 149 eggs.

(we all know when you look on the quest status sub screen you see you need 148 + One from the bonus level but there is 150 eggs in the game but there are 149 in the regular worlds and 1 in the Bonus world.

To get to the bonus level you go to midnight mountain just go by harbor speed way look to you're right jump across the lava onto the little piece of land, and glide down were you see all of the little lizards running around and the portal is right there....!

On Bamboo Terrace, when you get to the small river before going through the bridge, swim down the river and go right, you will find 4 sparkling butterflies.

Let Sparks eat it and get 4 extra lives.

Here is a tip to beat the sorceress. First of all you will get 3 weapons to fight her with. Those weapons that you fight her with are a cannon, a hovering bullet shooting thing, and a stealth flyer note the stealth flyer has unlimited ammo and the others have 10. Do not waste your ammo trying to hit her, but wait until she is standing still unless you're on the stealth flyer then use those precious moments to aim just right.

On every one of the speedway levels, Hunter is lurking somewhere, you will get the chance to be hunter and shoot down sheep UFOs and space cows etc. if you complete the challenge you will receive an egg

NOTE: DO NOT COMPLETE HUNTERS CHALLENGE UNTIL YOU HAVE GOT THE OTHER TWO EGGS ON THE LEVEL.

AFTER COMPLETING HUNTERS CHALLENGES SPARX WON'T GIVE YOU ANYMORE EGGS EVEN IF YOU HAVE DONE THE REQUIRED TASK!!!!!!!!

Sgt.Byrds base- Bomb the gophers
Frozen Alters-beat the yeti on the first round for the second try
Charmed ridge- Get to the tower from the ledge where you get the super flame
Charmed Ridge- shoot the windows in the cat temple
Bentleys outpost- push box off cliff
Desert Ruins- Destroy the seaweed when you ride hunters stingray
Dino Mines- Hit the seahorses in the super speeding tunnel
Agent 9's lab- Destroy all the palm trees with the bombs

Boarding tips
Gnasty Gnorc- do 2 forward rolls (Using the triangle button) and then do a side roll- 2500 points
Raging Ripto- Do a nose dive and roll right- 3000 points

P.s You have to defeat the sorcerer a second time on the super bonus worlds.

On the level Icy Peak, there are gems under the ice. Many people probably wonder how to get to them.

In the center of one of the pools of ice, that's in a hall, there's a big crack in the ground.

You have to glide there without touching the ice and do a head smash.

If you hit it dead on it will break and you can swim under all the ice you thought you could never get under.
