Challenge: Take two people who you would never, in a million years think would get together, and create a romantic peice about them that actually works.

Info: This has taken me a really long time to put together. (I cheated and started on it last week) I really wanted to use this image of Giles because it lends itself to so many possiblities. I used the Dru pic because the way she was holding her left hand, I could make it look like it was on his shoulder. The first problem I ran into was the difference in color. She was very yellowed, he was very bright. I got them as close as I could using brightness/contrast and Hue, and then finally gave up and switched them to sepia tone. The pose and the sepia made me think of an old photo, so I searched for a background that gave an old photo texture, and went with a few before I found this crumpled paper on gettyimages. I actually tried about four or five after that, but the paper look was the best. The font is Aquiline, and I think the quote is from something, but I can't find it anywhere. If anyone can tell me, I'd be forever indebted...it's driving me nuts!! I seem to remember something along the lines of, "In what world could you and I ever have been together?" But who knows? I thought it was Buffy to Spike, but she didn't say it when I thought she did...so I don't know...

Most of the work I did was trying to find a mask that would create a creased look (I would give my left foot for Photoshop at this point!! Oh, for brushes!!) but even though I made one that was decent, it blocked out too much of the original image. So, finally, I just threw a frame around it (also found at gettyimages) and here it is.
