Episode Summary:
Buffy and the gang are trying to learn more about what's driving Spike to kill when they discover that Andrew has returned to Sunnydale. Anya and Xander play "good cop, bad cop" to try to discover what he knows...but it may be too late. The big bad is rising.

Review:
This was another high energy episode. There is a very strong scene between Buffy and Spike when he tries to convince her to kill him. The writers are in top form lately. Nice to see...and we finally learn what Andrew and the Troika were trying to raise in the basement. Eek! Lots of good butt-kicking in this one! Wish they had answered the big question, on Giles from the last episode, though. It's not nice to leave us hanging. If you are confused about the "big bad" explanation, refer to "Amends," an episode from the third season, or read what I've pieced together about Buffy's latest nemesis, The First.
