This is where I put stuff that I write. Hence the name. I guess there will someday be a bunch of stuff like poetry and stories and essays and such here, but for now there's only a few sections. So, enjoy.

Fanfiction

MapleStory

Note: These stories are unfinished and no longer being updated.

>Allies of Krita: It all started with the appearance of a new dungeon called “Graemalkin Tower”. At first it seemed harmless enough, but now it seems that the GMs are banning people that try to go in. But when my best friend disappears after entering, I and four of my friends have to risk investigating. There’s more to this dungeon than meets the eye, and it’s our job to find out what’s going on. This is our story.

>The Seed of Time: A young Wizard boy is given a test by his mentor, Grendel the Really Old. But how can you take a test when you don't even understand the nature of it? And is the test really all there is to it...?

Short Stories

Stories that are not long.

>The Cantebury Tales: Old Man Rand (.doc format): Written for my AP Literature class about a year ago at the time of posting this. The premise was to write a new Cantebury Tale, in the same poetic format and rhyme scheme, and then present it to the class. The class would then vote on which one was the best. I think I got second place with it, if I recall correctly. Anyways, I really like how this ended up.

>Untitled [Alexander Wolf] (.doc format): Writen more than two years ago for my Junior English class. The premise was to write a short story of "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs" from the perspective of a preset list of characters. The one I chose was a journalist writing the newspaper article about the story. Kinda old, but it's still pretty okay.

>The Fountain (.doc format): This was written all the way back during my english class in my Sophomore year in High School. This is also pretty special in that it's one of about three or four files that survived from my old computer after the Great Hard Drive Reformatting of '04. The premise was simply to write a short story about a wish that came true, but backfired. It was during a unit on a short story called The Monkey's Hand or something to that effect. I've gotten good reviews on this one, so I thought I'd post it.

Poetry

Oh, look, Matt fancies himself a poet. How cute.

>To Write or Not To Write (.doc format): Another gem from my AP Lit class. The premise of this was to write a Shakespearean soliloquy following the exact format of the famous Hamlet "to be or not to be" soliloquy, on another type of dilemma. I struggled and struggled to come up with a subject, and eventually decided to write about my own writer's block. Funny how that ended up being a pretty good source of inspiration; this is what came of it.

Other

Stuff that's not anything else.

>Time Travel Theory 101 (.html format): The best way to describe this is a fictional article/short story exposee on Time Travel in the format of a class discussion. Time Travel is an interesting subject to me, and I wanted to compile all my ideas of how it would work into one place for possible future use in a story or some such, so that's what this is. I was afraid that it might be a bit confusing at points, so I included the information in condensed, simplified form in the "Class Notes" section at the end. Hope you like it.
