Passicng The Corporate Test
By Bill Banks

Passing The Corporate Test At six feet six inches and 275 pounds, Test is a pure genetic marvel. At 23 years of age, he is already one of the most feared superstars in the World Wrestling Federation. The former Motley Crue bodyguard was a diamond in the rough ... one that Mr. McMahon quickly snatched up and he's polishing for the future of his corporation.
Vince McMahon has always had the ability to find such gems. In fact, some consider him the master of creating superstars out of impressive raw talent. Eight years ago he began the process that transformed the Undertaker into a household name and turned a journeyman named Kevin Nash into the machine known as Diesel. Once Vince gets his hands on such promising athletes, he creates a masterpiece. Now the time has come to unleash a new creation, one that is abundant with potential and anger -- and it won't be long before the chairman puts his initials on the finished product.
Is Test prepared for such a future in the World Wrestling Federation? He wouldn't be in McMahon's hands if he wasn't qualified for the job. By nature, he enjoys inflicting pain on others -- an ability which shaped the paths he's chosen in life. In high school, he was a standout in hockey, lacrosse, football, and rugby -- sports in which only the strong excel. By the age of 18, his size earned him bouncer's duties in two prominent nightclubs, and with a matter of months he was the head of security. At the same time, he landed a job bodyguarding various musical groups. After multiple suspensions for questionable crowd control tactics, Test found a home with the only band that suited his brutal tendencies -- Motley Crue. Why the core of rage within him?
After years of protecting performers from the fans, perhaps he wanted to be the one living the rock 'n' roll lifestyle. He was big, strong, and gifted ... so why wasn't he the one in the spotlight? This past October, the Crue agreed to launch their Greatest Hits tour by performing with DX on Heat and Raw. Test used the opportunity to get noticed. He not only ejected overzealous fans, but reportedly hauled them off to a merciless fate backstage. DX hung out witht he band and also took note of their greatest asset -- leading Triple H to court the Canadian as the group's latest acquisition. It wasn't long before Test started getting the itch to leave the world of music for the squared circle. He had proven he could hurt people, and he possessed the raw attitude that fit right in with DX. Within a matter of weeks, his skills would be defined at the Federation's "Funkin' Dojo" training camp.
Unfortunately for Hunter, he wasn't able to keep a good thing a secret. Stamford, Connecticut, is also the home of McMahon's Titan Tower, and before long word got back to the owner about the impressive monster Canadian. He was called "the next great superstar" and a "natural" in the ring. Once Vince saw him in action, he made sure DX wouldn't have a chance at getting him. All it took was putting the bug in Test's ear -- how it was his time to shine and that he could finally have that rock 'n' roll lifestyle, the promise that he would be groomed as a champion among the Team Corporate collective ... that he would never rise above the egos if he were to join DX.
The promises flowed like wine and, of course, Test believed them. None of it was a lie and it was coming from the man who built a lasting legacy for molding stars. After years of being the one who controlled the crowds and held back the masses, McMahon was offering Test the chance to become the one to whom the fans flocked. It was opportunity in its most unadulterated form -- the gift the owner keeps on giving only to those who deserve it.
As a sort of symbolic gesture, the DX leader was the first to face Test's rage on Raw. Convinced he would have been held back under Hunter's guidance the newcomer cost him a chance at the Federation Championship. Months later, Vince continues to feed the fire of anger burning within his corporate insurance policy, constantly reminding him of the years he spent protecting others ... and the future that lies before him. Following Vince's vision, Test made it crystal clear that he would no longer be teh one lost in the crowd.
Now DX are trying to protect themselves from him ...
