Bobcat Interview

I had the pleasure of interviewing Bobcat back when she was in the Indies working as a Manager/Valet. Since that time however, she has moved on to the WWF, and is known as BB. Rumor has it that she is/was close to being released from that federation for dating a wrestler before his divorce was finalized. So, the WWF (unwisely in my opinion), are not using her much if at all at this time.
In this interview you will see where she came from, her feud with Dawn Marie, and her hopes for the future. Remember, this interview was conducted Before she entered the WWF.
Enjoy the interview! I hope to do more in the future!

KM: Hello BobCat, thank you for agreeing to be interviewed by me. Could you tell us how long you have been involved in pro-wrestling?
BobCat: I've been involved professionally for 16 months.
KM: It says in your profile that you were a childhood friend of ECW's Dawn Marie aka Tammy Lynn Bytch aka Beulah and that it was Dawn who got you started in this business. What did you learn from her?
BobCat: I learned how a valet should conduct themselves in and out of the ring.
KM: I understand that both of you were the best of friends after you started working with her. How did your friendship fall apart?
BobCat: I think it became more of a rival issue.
KM: Okay but who started the rivalry? One usually don't turn from their friends like that.
BobCat: We all have friends and sometimes things just happen. I guess you could say we parted ways.
KM: If you could have one moment with her in the ring right now what would you do or say to her?
BobCat: For starters I'd like my hair extentions back and humilate her like she has humilated me in the ring.
KM: You have had success already in MCW which is based out of Baltimore. You have led a tag team to possess the MCW Tag Team belts. How difficult was it for you to gain the respect and trust from the wrestlers?
BobCat: In the beginning it was very hard. I had to earn my respect by giving respect. I had to prove my worth. I was fortunate enough to work and learn from the best in the business, past, present and future, I consider myself very fortunate.
KM: What else would you like to conquer in the MCW?
BobCat: What else? Lead the victory for the Heavyweight Belt.
KM: Are you a valet for someone you believe has a real shot of winning the Heavyweight Title? If so who?
BobCat: Yes I am, the Inferno Kid and I, we will be doing shows down south for the month of June.
KM: Back to Dawn Marie briefly, she has gone from MCW to ECW and has become very popular. Could we see you make the transition to ECW or is your focus even beyond that?
BobCat: I could only hope. I would be honored to work for a major federation. Meanwhile I'll stay focused and strive very hard to get there.
KM: What kind of following do you recieve when you walk to the arena area? You are very beautiful so I would imagine you probably get one of the biggest reactions in MCW.
BobCat:Let's say you have a good imagination and thank you.
KM: Tammy Lynn Sytch, Sable, et al, have brought the spotlight back to the women in this sport. Are you surprised by the popularity the women have gained recently?
BobCat: No. They have worked very hard and it shows.
KM: And how do you think you can carry the torch even further?
BobCat: By showing women can be sexy, physical and smart.
KM: WWF seems to be pushing it's roster of women into the ring as wrestlers nowadays. Have you had any matches with anyone yet? Is it something which interests you?
BobCat: Yes I love wrestling! I've wrestled on many shows for many organizations.
KM: It lists under Future Ambitions in your profile that you want to rule the WWF and put Sable in her place. How would you go about doing that?
BobCat: Get me into the WWF and I'll show you!
KM: Is there anything about Sable that pisses you off or is it that you believe in your skills so you are confident you can dethrone her as the most popular woman in wrestling today?
BobCat: All I have to say is Sable look out because here I come!
KM: Female valets/managers have been exploited mightily in storylines where they reveal lots of cleavage and even nudity. What are your thoughts on that?
BobCat: What could I say - "guilty".
KM: If you were approached by a Booker and was asked to take off your top in some way for higher ratings would you? Or do you believe valets/managers need to go that far?
BobCat: Could I plead the fifth? I would have to cross that bridge when I get there.
KM: What would you attribute the popularity of professional wrestling to today?
BobCat: Good athletics and good entertainment.
KM: There are some young girls that watch you closely and admire what you do and want to someday walk in your shoes. What advice would you give them?
BobCat: Be professional. Work hard, train hard, be ready. Dont give up!
KM: How important are fans to you? I have heard reports from others whom say they met so and so in person and they were very snobbish (Francine) while others were very glad that people actually took the time out to support them. Where do you fall?
BobCat: I love my fans. I'm a people person. I've met some really interesting people.
KM: Are there others you look up to as setting a good example in pro-wrestling as valets/managers?
BobCat: I'd have to say Dawn Marie and Marlenna. I like the way they handle themselves. Even though me and Dawn Marie are feuding it doesnt mean I don't appreciate her work. And Marlenna to me is such a lady.
KM: As Dawn Marie has helped you to get in the world of wrestling are there any young women you are helping too?
BobCat: Yes, a new valet named "Kara". I hope I could guide her in the right direction. I work with alot of different valets and I think she has what it takes.
KM: You have a on-going feud with Dawn (whom I refer to as the biggest tease in wrestling), do you think you will ever rid pro-wrestling of her?
BobCat: Probably not, but there will be plenty of more feuding if we ever do cross paths again!
KM: Would you like to say anything to your fans who will read this and others who will now keep a look-out for you?
BobCat: I would like to thank them for their support. It's great knowing you have a bunch of fans who are rooting for you and believe in you.
