Hardcore Heaven 99Review #1 Pretty Cool. The Taz vs. Chris Candido Match is absolutely hilarious as Taz destroys Candido and locks on the Taz mission in under 5 minutes. The dudley Boys vs. Balls Mahoney and Spike in my opinion is a great match. There was lots of brawling and one missed spot that nearly ruined the whole match. Buh Buh Ray was about to put spike through a flaming table with a powerbomb when he accidently dropped him on the ground on his neck instead of the table and from there the Dudleys didn't know what to do. However, Balls threw fire in Joel Gertners face and Gertner wore a mask over his face for weeks. Buh Buh Ray and D-von were then scheduled to fight Taz but D-von apparently broke his hand and it became Taz vs. Buh Buh Ray in what was A bloody Brawl for the ECW heavyweight championship. Taz came out with the win with the aid of the Tazmission. Rob Van dam vs Jerry Lynn for the TV Title is an absolute classic as RVD misses a spot, kicks Jerry Lynn in the face and breaks Jerry's nose. Jerry however, continues the match but eventually loses the match. You will also see Tajiri and Super Crazy in action before Tajiri turns into the Ruthless hitman that Steve Corino uses for months to take out Taz. Nova, Chris Chetti, Danny Doring, Roadkill are also on the card. If I am not mistaken Tommy Dreamer vs. Lance Storm in a Grudge match is also on this card. I do not think its tru as Tommy Dreamer does not take many Bumps on his back but this is said to be the match where Tommy Dreamers back gets messed up and it nearly ruins his career as a wrestler. I give this PPV a four and a half out of 5. ( still not as good as Heatwave 98 ) Reviewed by: Super Leather Review #2 One of ECW's best.Simply great.I was glad to see Taz humiliate Candido as he really sucks.the 3-D Taz got was the best 3-D I have ever seen.The RVD-Lynn match is of course a classic.I loved every part of this tape.The main event I thought would be a total Taz squash but I really thought Buh Buh was gonna win the title and honestly,I wish he would've.
