Avalon found herself watching Mandan's every move, but thinking about Jaime and Peter the entire time. She knew Shannon could tell she was distracted, but kept it to himself. She tried to fake enjoyment, but she had never liked Mandah in the first place and now she was one of the prime suspects in the case.

"Avalon, earth to Avalon," Mandah said in a high sing-song voice. "What are you thinking about over there?"

"Damn, I'm sorry guys. I've just been thinking about Jaime and the new routine we are working on. I keep running though it in my head. There's this one move she wants to do, but I don't think all the girls can do it, so we may have to make it so only a couple of us do it, but we don't know what to do with the other girls," Avalon said nervously. "And I'm sorry I am totally boring you with my dance crap. Go on what were you talking about Mandah?"

Avalon let out a small sigh of relief when Mandah shrugged and went on with her dull story. The rest of the day was almost as unbearable as the first half an hour. Avalon made attempts to call Jaime and Peter throughout the day, but still had no luck getting a hold of them. She also called Reese and Troy for an update on the happenings around their end of things. Nothing had changed and that frustrated all 3 girls to no end.

By the time the two couples had arrived back at the hotel, Avalon wanted to kill Mandah. She just knew the annoying little twit had something to do with Jaime and Peter not answering their phones.

"I hate to cut the evening short, but I am getting really tired and we do have to get up early tomorrow to catch the flight out to New York," Avalon said, hoping she sounded convincing.

"Yeah, I'm getting kind of tired, too," Shannon agreed. "Maybe we could hook up in the morning for breakfast before hitting the airport."

"Sounds good to me, Mandah what do you think?" Shane asked his girlfriend.

"Sure, whatever," Mandah said as she looked around the lobby.

"Okay then, we'll see you guys in the morning. Good night," Shannon said as he watched Shane and Mandah head to the elevator.

"Okay, what's up? Why have you been so weird all day long?" he asked, turning to look his girlfriend in the face.

"Jaime and Peter are missing and we are going to search their room," she told him before turning for the elevator.

'This is going to be a long night,' Shannon thought to himself as he followed her.

Troy let out another frustrated sigh before turning the steering wheel. They had been following Suzanne around town for an over an hour and had stopped at what had to be a dozen different places, but not once had they stayed longer than five minutes. It seemed to Troy that they were on a fast track to nowhere and she was getting angry and bored.

"Maybe she knows we are following her and that's why she hasn't gone to meet the guy yet," Jason suggested, finally breaking the agonizing silence.

"Possible, maybe we should just hold off a little, or go back to the hotel.," Troy said as she shook her head. "Dammit, I hate not knowing what to do. Fuck it, let's go back to the hotel.

Maybe Reese has had better luck then we have."

Troy took the next opportunity she found to turn the car around and headed back towards the hotel. She could feel the tension in her shoulders and neck building from the frustration. She hoped things were going better back at the hotel. With any luck it would help distress her.

"And then maybe Jason could do the rest,' Troy thought to herself as she glanced to the man sitting in the passenger seat of her rental car.

For some reason he looked especially good to her at that moment. His hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail at the nape of his neck, showing off the defined features of his beautiful face.

"Um, what are you staring at?" Jason asked with a chuckle. "Don't you think you should keep your eyes on the road?"

"Oh sorry, uh I was just admiring the gorgeous man sitting in my car right now," Troy answered him.

Looking around in the backseat, Jason's face was covered in confusion. "Where is he and why is he in your car? What am I supposed to do?"

Completely ignoring his lame joke, Troy turned and stared out the window at the road in front of her. "I was thinking that me and this gorgeous guy would check in with Reese and then he would whisk me away to our hotel room, where he would give me a full body massage and then I would return the favor with many unspeakable things," Troy said, her voice soft and sultry.

"Well, it sounds to me that this gorgeous guy is pretty lucky. Maybe we should get this car moving," Jason suggested, a smile tugging at his mouth. Reaching over he placed his hand on her thigh and began massaging it softly.

Letting out a low moan, Troy pressed down on the gas allowing the car to gain speed. She was definitely ready for what he had to offer.
