Two days had past since Jaime and Peter had "left for New York" and now that the entire WCW roster was in New York, the young couple was nowhere to be found. Avalon was furious. She knew Mandah had had something to do with their disappearance and yet she was forced to exchange pleasantries with the bitch and spend countless hours with her and her delusional boyfriend.

"I can't stand this anymore. I wish they would make their move so we could put this plan into action," Avalon said, an unmistakable edge in her voice.

"Isn't that what we are doing tonight though? Reese things the event tonight is where things will happen and the story will unfold. We have a rare live show tonight at Madison Square Garden while the WWF has a huge promotional party at WWF New York, it is the perfect opportunity to get everyone's attention. I can only assume she has figured out a way to make sure both Eric and Vince are watching, as well as the rest of the world," her boyfriend told her.

"You know sometimes I think you would totally be cut out for this business," Avalon said, a smile escaping onto her face.

"To tell you the truth I'm kind of enjoying this whole experience. Besides being able to spend all day with the most beautiful woman in the world, I get to follow people, break into hotel rooms and help come up with elaborate plans to capture the bad guys. What more could a guy want?"

Avalon let out a small laugh as she turned to look at Shannon, who was driving their rental car. "It does sound perfect doesn't it? The job has never been this good for me. I don't know whats going to happen when the case is over."

The smile on her face began to fade back into a frown as Shannon pulled the car into a covered parking garage. The group was meeting at a restaurant outside of the city to discuss the plan for the possible events of the evening. Reese, of course, had a brilliant plan that would help uncover the motive and capture the bad guys and get all the hostages home safe and sound.

'Of course, things never go as planned,' Avalon thought to herself as she looked back over to Shannon who was concentrating on parking the car into a tiny spot.

Troy looked around the table at everyone involved in Reese's grand plan. Adam and Matt looked nervous and unsure of how things were supposed to work.

Reese had gone over everyone's positions twice and was in the middle of going through them for the third time just for the benefit of Adam and Matt.

They were the only two who would be without one of the girls that night and would not be able to ask questions later without possibly giving themselves away.

Jeff looked unbelievably calm considering that he had one of the most important roles in the entire scheme. Reese and Jeff were in charge of getting the hostages back, which was extremely dangerous not to mention what they could find might not be good news. Reese was pretty sure that Suzanne and Mandah wouldn't bother moving all of the hostages, especially the ones who were probably sick and on the verge of death from malnourishment and being beaten.

Looking across the table at Avalon, she noticed her friends hand resting in the hand of her boyfriend Shannon. She could tell Avalon was scared, not for herself or the other people at the table, but for the people being held by Suzanne and Mandah. Avalon was supposed to confront Suzanne and Mandah tonight wherever the pair ended up. Shannon was her backup.

Troy smiled as Jason looked at her with a worried look on his face. Squeezing his hand in acknowledgement, Troy sighed and leaned over to rest her head on her boyfriends shoulder. Their job for the evening was to get the hostages back that were brought to the arena or WWF New York, namely Dwayne and Peter, the two whose lives would make the biggest impact in the entire situation.

Now Troy just hoped that Suzanne's plan wasn't very far from what they were figuring.

People's lives were hanging in the balance and Troy knew that if something didn't happen soon then one, if not more, of the people being held were going to die.

'If someone hadn't already,' she thought before closing her eyes briefly.
