Ring, Ring

Heather sat straight up in bed, startled by her cell phone ringing so early.

"Hello?" she groggily said as she picked up the phone.

"Hello Heather, it's me Shane McMahon. Did I wake you?"

"No Shane, most people are wide awake at 4:30 in the morning." said Heather sarcastically.

"Sorry about that. Should I call back later?" asked Shane.

"No, that's alright, I"m up now. What's going on?" asked Heather.

"I was just wondering if we could bump up our meeting time a little bit. I'd like to get this all taken care of now."

"Is something wrong?" asked Heather suspiciously. "Did Vince have a problem with some of the terms of the contract?"

"No, no, it's not that at all. I just want to get started early with today's business." said Shane.

"Sure, we can bump up the time. How early were you thinking?" asked Heather.

"Is 8:00 OK?"

"Yeah, that's fine. Why so early?"

"No reason, I just wanted to get out of the house and to the office in good time." said Shane.

"Oh, ok. That's fine, i'll see you at 8:00 then." said Heather knowing very well that Shane had probably had a fight with Marissa again and wasn't that anxious to get to the office.

"See you then. Bye Heather."

"Bye Shane." said Heather as she hung up her phone.

"Well, i'd better call Matt and Jeff to let them know that do or die time for their contracts has been moved up to 8:00" thought Heather to herself.

At 7:15 A.M.

Knock, Knock

"Hey, Heather, what's up?" said Jeff as he opened their hotel room door for her.

"Hey guys. I just wanted to let you know that the meeting to finalize your potential future contract has been moved up to 8:00 this morning." said Heather.

"8:00 this morning?" said Matt coming out of the bathroom shaking his wet hair dry. "Why so early?"

"Shane said he just wanted to get this all taken care of early. He's already in the office.....said he wanted to get the days work going right away." said Heather as she sat down on the end of one of the beds.

"What's up with him lately? He's been acting strange, even for a McMahon." asked Jeff.

"Now that was uncalled for butthead. You know he's been going through personal problems with his wife." said Matt.

"Don't call me names dorkbreath!" said Jeff.

"Butthead!"

"Dorkbreath!"

"Butthead!"

"Dorkbreath!"

"Boys!! Knock it off. I'm nervous enough about this meeting as it is. All my past meeting with him have been over the phone. I'm a little nervous about meeting him face to face." said Heather.

"Oooooohhhh, why are ya nervous?" asked Jeff with a smirk on his face.

"Oh grow up!! It's a business meeting, nothing more. He's married. I'm a professional business person." said Heather growing more irritated.

"You'll have to excuse my brother, he was dropped on his head as a child." said Matt.

"If I was, you're the one that dropped me." exclaimed Jeff.

"I did not!!" yelled Matt.

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"Aaaaaagggghhhhh!!!!" yelled Heather.

Matt and Jeff both stopped arguing and just looked at Heather with smiles of innocense.

"I'm going to go ahead an take off." snarled Heather as she picked up her bags and headed for the door.

"Have fun at your meeting with ShaneO." said Jeff with a smirk on his face.

Heather just rolled her eyes and said, "I knew I should have gone into elementary teaching. At least then the people I'd be working with would have maturity levels above a 4-year old!!"

Jeff and Matt gasped in mock form of surprise.

"Oh please," said Heather as she was walking out the door. "I'll see you two after the meeting."

"She's got it so bad for him." said Jeff to Matt after Heather was out the door.

"Oh, most definetly." said Matt.
