Kimberly Quits WCW

Kimberly has quit WCW due to "creative differences". Kimberly and WCW didn't see eye to eye on how Kim's character should be developed.  She left the company after this past Monday's Nitro. Word now is that a disagreement which took place this past Monday at Nitro.  She was originally booked in an angle on the show where she was supposed to be held by Scott Steiner and then be run down by Miss Hancock.

Reportedly, Kimberly didn't want to do that angle and didn't want to be "manhandled" in the storyline, so it was changed by Vince Russo an hour or so before the show and instead, she did the botched angle where she accidentally sprayed herself in the face with the perfume instead of Miss Hancock.

Word is that there was "little chance" that Kim will change her mind and come back. WCW sources swear that this isn't an angle. People close to her have said that she wanted to prove to herself that she could perform and get over as a wrestling character, and she did that.  Now, she feels that it's time to look for a new challenge.

Kim's husband Dallas Page will be taking some time off selling his "I Quit" angle from this past Monday's Nitro.  In the interim, he will be rehabbing his injured back.  He probably should have taken time off already, but his work ethic wouldn't allow him to do so.  Now he will take some time off to rest his back.
