Hardcore Holly may not have won his match with Chris Benoit, but that is not the main development coming out of the match. First off, Holly dominated almost the entire match, with Benoit's only offense being a chop and some kicks in the opening and then the devastating Crippler Crossface which ended the match, but only after Holly broke it 5 times! However, Holly hit Benoit with a short arm clothesline that appeared to knock Benoit out completely. Holly seems almost shocked by this, thus waiting too long to capitalize on the pinfall attempt, as Benoit got a foot on the ropes. The metal plate in his arm, from the broken arm he suffered at the hands of Kurt Angle, may be about to become a secret weapon for the Big Shot! Also, Holly made the save for Molly Holly after Regal locked in the Regal Stretch on her (after Regal won the European Title back from the ever worthless Crash, who held it for a total of 2 days). This caused Mick Foley to setup a rematch of the Survivor Series showdown, as Hardcore will get another shot at European Gold in his homestate of Alabama, when he meets William Regal at Armageddon!
