Hardcore Holly took on William Regal in the match set-up earlier in the evening on Heat (read here). This was a great European title showdown, featuring an old-school wrestling style. Regal worked on Holly's arm the entire time, while Holly was forced to brawl to try to get the advantage. Finally, Holly got frustrated by Regal's attempts to re-break his arm, so he left the ring and grabbed Regal's European title and blasted him over the head with it, giving him the DQ loss and costing himself the Euro title. Holly nailed Regal repeatedly with punches after the match and even pushed the ref down multiple times for pulling him off of Regal.
