Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Konnan's fiery background makes him a force to be reckoned with in the ring. Konnan has ascended the ranks of professional wresting by using his tremendous strength to intimidate rivals. His entrance to the wrestling profession stemmed from his first love, boxing. As a member of the U.S. Navy Boxing Team, Konnan used his size and swiftness to make competitors beg for mercy! This combination and a penchant for bodybuilding led him to the ring in Mexico. There he emerged as the No. 1 wrestling star in AAA Lucha Libre.
