It's Father Against Son!

Jc Ice is one cocky individual. The youngster is not afraid to say exactly what is on his mind even when the object of his contempt is his father, Bill Dundee. Actually that's the way he's been his entire life and Jc isn't about to change anytime soon.

Over the years, Jc and his father have butted heads numerous times. They have what is known as a classic love-hate relationship, and right now with Jc and his partner Wolfie D, heavily involved in the Nation of Domination, they are once again very much at odds.

Their latest spat began around Christmas during a match between Bill Dundee and his long-time nemesis, Jerry Lawler. As Jc distracted the referee, Wolfie went to hit Lawler with a hubcap. But instinctively Lawler moved and Dundee was the one who felt the blunt of Wolfie's Hubcap. With this Lawler easily pinned Dundee for the win.

Later in the evening, words between Dundee and Wolfie lead to a full-scale war. During the altercation, the entire USWA branch of the Nation of Domination attacked Dundee. In the ensuing melee, Dundee fractured his arm and war was declared between he and his son.

Afterwards, a war of words ensued between Bill Dundee and Jc Ice. During their verbal altercations, Jc told his father that he was never there for him while he was growing up. Although Dundee didn't deny the allegations, he felt that he did the best he could. During the argument, Jc said that he was now a much better wrestler than his dad and challenged him to a bout to his superiority. Hearing this, Bill Dundee gladly accepted the challenge, and the match was immediately signed for the State Fairgrounds in Nashville TN.

Prior to the bout, quite a few of the USWA wrestlers warned Dundee that this time with Jc in the Nation of Domination he was going to be in for the battle of his life. Several even said that they would watch his back if the Nation tried anything. Although their intentions were good, Dundee refused all aid, saying that he was going to win the battle on his own. Surprisingly, a day before the match, Jc bragged that he would whip his "old man" and that he din't need any help at all from the Nation of Domination to win his battle.

When the match began, Bill Dundee came to the ring first. As Bill stood in the ring, awaiting the start of the bout, the music blared and Jc Ice - along with his Nation of Domination posse appeared at ringside. Immediately, Dundee's chances for survival looked bleak. But after the referee gave his pre-match instructions, Jc told his crew to go back to the locker room.

"I don't need any help at all," he said. "I can beat the old man in a matter of seconds!"

With this, the NOD retreated to there dressing room and the battle was underway. From the opening bell it was obvious that Jc wasn't nearly as tough as he thought.

Dundee easily reversed every move Jc tried on dear old dad. As the minutes ticked away, Dundee took command, but as he applied hold after hold with relative ease it became apparent that Dundee had no intention at all of pinning his son. He wanted to give him the wrestling lessons of his life! And Dundee was succeeding quite well!

When the 15 minute time limit had expired Bill Dundee was on his feet while Jc Ice was panting in the corner. However at the sound of the bell, Jc grabbed the microphone, and pleaded for 5 more minutes.

Obviously, it was Jc's hope that he would be able to do in the extra five minutes, what he wasn't able to accomplish in the past 15. But Jc was badly mistaken. The second he climbed back into the ring, he found himself trapped in his father's clutches once again. Seeing that he had no chance at all in saving face, Jc got to his feet and ran back to the safety of his dressing room.

One day, No doubt when Bill Dundee is old and gray, Jc Ice will be able to defeat his "old man", but that day is still a long way off. Bill Dundee still has plenty of fight left in him, and by his showing against his "old man", it's obvious that Jc Ice still has a lot to learn.
