JC Ice Interview

*The following is an interview conducted with Jamie Dundee.*

INTERVIEWER: How long have you been wrestling?
JAMIE: I have been wrestling for 10 years.

INTERVIEWER: What other organizations have you wrestled for?
JAMIE: I have wrestled for the WWF, USWA, NWA, EMLL and AAA in Mexico, and CCWA in Puerto Rico.

INTERVIEWER: What is your favorite part of wrestling?
JAMIE: I love the traveling. I love to see the world.

INTERVIEWER: What is your least favorite part?
JAMIE: The bumps, I think I'd rather be a manager.

INTERVIEWER: But manager's take bumps?
JAMIE: Yeah, but not every night like I do.

INTERVIEWER: Who trained you?
JAMIE: My father, Bill Dundee trained me.

INTERVIEWER: What made you decide to become a wrestler?
JMIE: I grew up in wrestling. I have been watching my father wrestle my whole life. It's just all I ever knew.

INTERVIEWER: Who is the toughest opponent that you've ever faced?
JAMIE: As a tag team PG-13, it had to be the Rock and Roll Express at the 25th Anniversary show last year at the Louisville Gardens. As a solo wrestler, it would have to be Wolfie D.

INTERVIEWER: If a young person wanted to get into wrestling, what advice would you give them?
JAMIE: DON'T!! In this business, it's not what you know, it's who you know. Unless you are a 6'4 and a big football player, there are just no chances or opportunities unless you know someone.

INTERVIEWER: Do you ever watch wrestling on TV?
JAMIE: I only watch me. I don't care what anyone else is doing.

INTERVIEWER: What other sports do you like or have you played?
JAMIE: I like football and baseball. I use to play football in high school too.

INTERVIEWER: Have you ever had any major injuries?
JAMIE: My whole body is a major injury! My knees are gone, my shoulders, this elbow (pointing to his left elbow), but I guess I still have my right elbow. ::still laughing::

INTERVIEWER: How do you stay in shape?
JAMIE: I work out to stay in shape, but just to stay in shape. I don't lift mega weights trying to get big, I just try to stay in shape.

INTERVIEWER: Is there anyone in the sport that you think goes too far?
JAMIE: ECW - I think it's ridiculous what those guys put themselves through. From what I hear it doesn't even seem like wrestling, it's more like, what can we do next for shock value.

INTERVIEWER: What titles have you held?
JAMIE: I've held the USWA Tag Team Title several time, the USWA Junior Heavyweight Title, the Wings Tag Team Titles, and oh yeah, the Smokey Mountain Wrestling Tag Titles.

INTERVIEWER: Where would you like to be in 5 years?
JAMIE: I want to be rich and retired. I want to be in the WWF, put that in big bold letters, or the WCW.

INTERVIEWER: Speaking of WCW, what do you think of the outsider's?
JAMIE: I think it's great.

INTERVIEWER: Some people are saying that the WCW vs. NWO feud is a rip off of the USWA vs. SMW feud that was done a few years ago, what is your take on that?
JAMIE: It's not a rip off, the whole world sees the WCW and only a small portion sees USWA. Feuds in wrestling have been going on a long time, this is not a rip off.

INTERVIEWER: What message would you like to give your on-line fans?
JAMIE: Keep the faith in PG-13, one day we will be a successful tag team with our fans support!!

*I would like to thank Jamie for his time and willingness to be interviewed. Thanks for the great interview, Jamie. Kathryn Lizenby, Interviewer*
