Commentary
February 19, 2002
Some people have been asking me why I don't write a commentary section in my web page. I thought about it, but it seems that anything I could write would just sound like a bitch session and I didn't want that on my site I wanted to raise the bar a little bit.
Last Sunday a very good friend of mine passed away. I figured this was a good time to write a little something and let my fans know about someone who was very special to me.
His name was Patrick "Bubba" Knuckles. He was a great man, a Professional Wrestler by trade. He was someone that brought true Professionalism to wrestling, where some of my commentarys would have been about the egos permeating professional wrestling. He was someone without an ego, someone who would do anything to get the crowd into the match and would do whatever the promoter wanted.
But that was only one side to the man. He also ran a promotion the VWF, whwre I recieved my first title and became their first Light Heavyweight Champion. He was a promoter that treated all the worker equally well made sure that everyone was paid even if it came out of his own pocket. Truely rare in this business.
He was also a good friend to all who knew him. In my case there were several times I used him as a sounding board for all my problems, he sat there listening to my bitching and complaining and letting me know whether it was rational or not and pullign me back into the business several times when I felt like giving up.
I will miss you Bubba and anything I do in this business is dedicated to you...
