1/16/2000 - - Cincinatti, OH, USA - - Bret Hart is stripped of the World Heavyweight Title due to an injury. Chris Benoit then faces Sid Vicous to win the WCW World Heavyweight Title
1/17/2000 - - Benoit forfeits the title after leaving the arena because he was upset with the removal of head booker Vince Russo, and the promoting of Kevin Sullivan. The decision from the night before is revoked, as referee Arn Anderson did not notice that Sid Viscous's foot was under the ropes when he submitted to the Crippler Crossface

5/2/2000 - - Richmond, VA, USA - - Chris Jericho pins Benoit after hitting him with the belt to win the title.
(This match was taped on May 2, but did not air until May 4)

5/8/2000 - - Uniondale, NY, USA - - Chris Benoit hooks Chris Jericho in the Crippler Crossface. Special refferee Triple H has the bell rung, but Jericho did not submit. Benoit wins the Intercontinental Title.
6/20/2000 - - Memphis, TN, USA - - Rikishi Phatu pins Chris Benoit after a Banzai Drop.
(This match was taped on June 20, but did not air until the 22)

12/10/2000 - - Birmingham, AL, USA - - Chris Benoit forces Billy Gunn to submit from the Crippler Crossface for the Intercontinental Title.
1/21/2001 - - New Orleans, LA, USA - - Chris Jericho wins the Intercontinental Title in a brutal ladder match at the Royal Rumble 2001

5/21/2001 - - San Jose, CA, USA - - Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho win Tag Team Turmoil the night before to earn a shot at the Tag Team Titles held by HHH and Stone Cold Steve Austin. They win the match and the titles after Y2J hits a Lion Sault on Austin, and HHH inadvertantly hits his partner with a sledgehammer.
