Chapter 8
The next day...
Summer woke up about 9 a.m. and felt completely miserable. She felt so bad at
the way she snapped at April the night before and how she couldn't tell Jeff
what was bothering her.
Well, I guess I better get up and start the day Summer thought to herself.
She put her on favorite pair of jeans and her Hardy Boys jersey that she had
bought a few weeks before.
"Hey Summer" she heard Jeff said.
"Yeah, Jeff" Summer answered.
"Can I come in?" Jeff asked.
"Yeah, I guess" she replied and Jeff opened the door.
"Morning, hey you bought one of our shirts" Jeff eyes lit up when he saw what
she was wearing.
"Yeah, I love this jersey" Summer replied.
"So, are you feeling any better today?" he asked.
"I guess" Summer answered.
"Are you ready to tell me what was wrong with you last night?" Jeff asked.
"No" Summer replied.
"Oh, come on Summer, we're friends, and I want to help you" Jeff said.
"Is it a guy problem?" Jeff asked.
"No" Summer answered but she knew Jeff could tell she was lying.
"I'm not buying that, so why don't you just tell me what's really going on"
Jeff said.
"I can't Jeff, please stop asking me" Summer said.
Jeff walked over to her radio and turned it on and their song was playing and
he just smiled.
"Do you remember what happened one day while this song was playing?" he asked
very curious to know if she would remember.
"Yes, of course, how could I forget, it was the happiest day of my life"
Summer answered.
"Summer, would you like to dance?" Jeff asked
"In my room" she replied.
"Yeah" he answered.
"Ok" Summer said and Jeff put his arms around her and they began dancing.
After the song ended, Jeff didn't pull away from Summer instead he looked
deep into her eyes and softly kissed her lips.
"What was that for?" Summer asked.
"Oh, man, I'm sorry Summer, I shouldn't have done that" Jeff answered and
turned to walk out of the room when Summer stopped him.
"Jeff?" Summer said and he turned around to answer her.
"Yes?" He asked.
"That was a nice kiss" she replied and smiled at him.
"Summer, there's something I need to tell you even though I know I probably
shouldn't, I can't keep this from you any longer" Jeff said.
"What's that?" Summer asked.
But before he could say anything, Matt interrupted them.
"Hey guys, breakfast" he said.
"Ok, we will talk later Jeff" Summer replied and walked out of the room.
Damn it, who knows if I will get enough courage again to let her know how I
feel about her Jeff thought and walked out of the room into the kitchen to
join the others.
Chapter 9
"What's for breakfast?" asked Jeff.
"Bacon and sausage" Matt replied.
"Sounds good" Jeff said.
"So, what is everyone's plans tonight?" Matt asked.
"I have none" Summer replied.
"Same here" Jeff said.
"Ditto" April said.
"Well, April, how about that date you promised me?" Matt asked and April's
eyes lit up.
"Tonight?" she asked.
"Yeah, if that's ok" Matt said.
"Sure, sounds good" April replied.
"Great, then we will leave at 6" Matt said.
"Ok, hey Summer, let's go shopping for a while" April said.
"Ok, sounds good" Summer replied.
"Let me finish eating then we will go" Summer said.
"Ok, I am going to go get my purse in my room" April replied.
"Hey Matt, can I talk to you in the other room for a minute?" Jeff asked his
brother.
"Sure, Jeff, be right back Summer" Matt replied.
"Ok" Summer said.
In Jeff's room...
"What's up?" Matt asked his brother.
"Well, when I was in Summer's room a few minutes ago, we danced and I kissed
her and was getting ready to tell her I was still in love with her when
someone interrupted" Jeff said.
"Oh gosh, I'm sorry bro" Matt said.
"It's ok but now I don't think I can get enough courage to tell her" Jeff
said.
"Jeff, you are not a shy person so just tell Summer how you feel. I mean she
may feel the same way" Matt said.
"Yeah, right. She only wants to be friends, remember?" Jeff said.
"Matt, do you know something that I don't know?" Jeff asked.
"Uh, nope" Matt said.
"Matthew, what are you not telling me?" Jeff demanded to know.
"I can't tell Jeff, just talk to Summer tonight while April and I are out"
Matt said and walked out of the room.
"Ok, that was strange" Jeff said out loud and he laid on his bed just
thinking about Summer.
Back in the living room...
"Hey Sum, you ready to go shopping?" April asked.
"Yup, let's roll" Summer said.
"Ok, bye Matthew" Summer said and Matt just gave her an evil look. He hated
being called that.
"Bye Sum" Matt replied and Summer just stuck her tongue out at him but then
smiled.
"Bye Matt, see you later" April said.
"Bye April"
At the mall..
"So, Sum, tell me what's going on with you and Jeff?" April asked.
"Nothing, I don't think however something happened this morning" Summer said.
"What happened?" April asked.
"Well, we started dancing to Swear It Again because that was the song that
was playing when he first told me he loved me and after it was over, he
kissed me" Summer said.
"He did what?" April said.
"He kissed me and you know what?" Summer said.
"What?" April asked.
"I fell in love with him all over again" Summer said.
"Aww, Summer, you have to tell Jeff that you love him and want to get back
together" April said.
"I can't, he doesn't feel the same" Summer said.
"Umm, hello, Sum, he kissed you, why would he do that if he didn't feel the
same?" April asked.
"I don't know but maybe I will find out tonight" Summer said.
"Well, let's go shop some more and then head home" April said.
"Ok, let's go" Summer said.
Around 5 o'clock...
"Matt, Jeff, We're home" Summer said.
"Hey guys. Did you have fun?" Matt asked.
"Yeah, Where's Jeff?" asked Summer.
"He went out for a while. He said he needed to do some thinking and he will
be home soon." Matt answered.
"Oh ok, well I'm going to my room" Summer said.
"Me too, I have to get ready for our date tonight" April said and smiled at
Matt.
"Ok, see you in a few" Matt said.
6 o' clock now...
"Wow, you look beautiful" Matt said.
"Thanks" April responded.
"You ready?" he asked.
"Yup, is Jeff back home yet?" April asked.
"No" Matt replied.
"Oh ok" April answered.
"Hey Sum, we're leaving, be home around 11" Matt said.
"Ok, bye guys, have fun" Summer said.
"Ok, bye" Matt and April said together and walked out of the door.
An hour later..
"Anyone home?" Jeff asked as he came in the door.
"Yes, I'm home" Summer answered as she walked into the living room.
"Oh, hey, have you had supper yet?" Jeff asked.
"Nope, not really hungry right now" Summer said.
"Oh, ok" Jeff said.
"Well, I'm going back to my room to lie down" Summer said.
"Hey Summer, wait, can we talk?" Jeff asked.
"Yeah, sure, what about?" Summer asked.
"Come and sit down on the couch and we will talk" Jeff said.
"Ok" Summer said and walked over to the couch and sat down.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" She asked Jeff.
"I have something to tell you and I don't know how you are going to react but
I can't keep this from you any longer" Jeff said.
"Ok, tell me" Summer replied.
"Summer, I'm still in love with you" Jeff said.
At the restaurant..
"This is a great place, Matt" April said.
"Yeah, it's really nice" Matt replied.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" Matt asked.
"Hmm, let's see, tell me about your career" April said.
"Well, Jeff and I have been wrestling for about 2 years with WWF" Matt said.
"Oh, that's cool. You know, Sum and I watch you guys every week" April said.
"Really?" Matt's eyes got wide.
"Yeah. You know I can't believe how much in love Summer still is with Jeff
but she won't tell him" April said.
"Yeah, Jeff feels the same and I just wish they would tell each other and get
back together" Matt said.
"Hey April, I know this is out of the blue, but would you be my girlfriend?"
Matt asked and April almost passed out.
Back at the house...
"What did you just say?" Summer asked still in shock.
"I'm still in love with you" Jeff said again.
"Oh Jeff" Summer started to say but Jeff interrupted her.
"It's ok if you don't feel the same. I mean I know you want to be just
friends but I had to tell you" Jeff said.
"Jeff, before you go on can I say something?" Summer asked.
"Yeah, sure, what is it?" Jeff asked.
"When you kissed me this morning, I fell back in love with you" Summer said.
"Really?" Jeff asked.
"Yes, really. I haven't said anything because I just knew you wanted to stay
friends" Summer said.
"I've wanted to get back together with you ever since you broke up with me"
Jeff said.
"What's the real reason you broke up with me?" He asked.
"Because I felt like I was holding you back with your career and I just
couldn't do that because I know how much wrestling means to you" Summer said.
"Wrestling means a lot to me Summer, but you mean more" Jeff said.
"So, are you saying you want to get back together with me?" Summer asked.
"Yes, but only if that's what you want" Jeff said.
"I do, but I can't help but wonder if we should try this again" Summer asked.
"We can take things slow, if that's what you want" Jeff said.
"I just don't know Jeff, I'm afraid we won't be able to stay together when
you guys have to go back to work" Summer said as a tear rolled down her face.
"Here, let me wipe that tear off your face" Jeff said and took his hand and
placed it on her cheek.
"Summer, I want to be with you more than ever but I won't pressure you into
anything. We can make this work if you just trust me" Jeff said.
"Do you trust me?" he asked.
"Completely" Summer said and kissed him passionately.
Chapter 10
Summer and Jeff were heavily making out and began getting intimate.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Jeff asked.
"Yes, I'm positive" Summer said as she took off Jeff's shirt.
"Ok" Jeff replied and began removing Summer's clothes.
Back at the restaurant..
"Yes, Matt, I would love to be your girlfriend" April said smiling.
"Great" Matt replied and kissed April very passionately.
A few minutes passed when April realized what time it was.
"Oh, gosh, Matt, it's 11:30, we better go home" she said.
"Ok, let's go" Matt replied and they went home.
Back at the house...
"That was amazing" Summer said.
"Yes, it was" Jeff replied.
"Jeff, I have a confession to make" Summer said.
"What?" he asked.
"You were my first" Summer said.
"I have a confession myself" Jeff said.
"What?" Summer asked.
"You were my first too" Jeff said smiling.
"You're kidding, right?" Summer said.
"No, I never wanted anyone else to be my first" Jeff said and passionately
kissed her again.
"That's a good thing" Summer sweetly replied enjoying Jeff's lips on hers.
Midnight...
"I hope we don't wake Summer and Jeff" Matt said.
"Yeah, I know, I wonder if they told each other how they felt" April replied.
"I don't know" Matt said while unlocking the door.
"Shh, we better be quiet not to wake them up. Look how cute they look" April
said.
"Yeah, they do look so adorable" Matt said.
"Well, good night, sweetie" April said and kissed her new boyfriend.
"Good night" Matt said and returned the kiss and off to bed they went.
The next morning...
"Sweetie, wake up" Jeff said.
"Huh?" Summer said.
"Morning love" Jeff said.
"Morning babe" Summer replied.
"I can't believe what happened last night" Jeff said.
"I know, but I certainly enjoyed it" Summer said.
"Me too" Jeff said grinning.
"I'm going to go take a shower, see you in a few minutes" Summer said.
"Want some company?" Jeff asked.
"Calm down boy" Summer said laughing and went to her bathroom to take a
shower.
"Hey, Bro, how was last night?" Matt asked.
"Great" Jeff said.
"So, what is the deal with you and Summer?" Matt asked.
"Are you back together?" Matt asked.
"I would think so" Jeff said smiling.
"That's great. I told you if you just told her how you felt things would work
out" Matt said.
"Yup, and I'm glad I told her" Jeff replied.
"Hey Matt, Summer and I umm made love last night" Jeff said kinda
embarrassed. This caused Matt to drop his drink that he had.
"OMG, you did what?" Matt said.
"We made love and it was perfect" Jeff said.
"Wow, that's uh great bro" Matt said kinda embarrassed to be talking about
this subject.
"Well, I'm going to go get ready now" Jeff said and walked into his room.
A few weeks later...
"Summer, are you ok?" April asked.
"No, I feel like I'm gonna die" Summer said.
"You look terrible" April said.
"Excuse me" Summer said and ran to the bathroom and began throwing up.
"Omg, Sum, are you ok?" April asked.
"No, I need to go to the doctor" Summer said.
"Ok, let me go with you. You're in no condition to drive" April said and the
two girls were on their way to the doctor.
At the doctor's office...
"Ms. Jackson?" the nurse called.
"Right here" Summer said.
"Come with me, the nurse replied, the doctor will be with you in a moment"
"Ok" Summer said.
A few minutes later the doctor walked in.
"Summer, I'm Mrs. Dion" the doctor said and held out her hand.
"Hi, nice to meet you" Summer replied.
"Ok, I need to ask you a few questions and they will probably be
uncomfortable but you don't have to worry ok" Mrs. Dion said.
"Ok" Summer said.
"Ok, first question, how old are you?"
"21" Summer said.
"Ok, next question, are you a virgin?" Mrs. Dion asked and saw that Summer
didn't want to answer.
"No" Summer said and April's eyes grew wide.
"Ok, when was your first sexual experience?" Mrs. Dion asked.
"A few weeks ago" Summer said.
"Ok, have you had your period since then?" Mrs. Dion asked.
"No" Summer said.
"Hmm, ok, well Summer, I need you to take a pregnancy test" the doctor
replied.
"Ok" Summer said and went and took the pregnancy test.
"Ok, I will be back in a few minutes to let you know the results" Mrs. Dion
said.
"Ok, thanks" Summer said and the doctor walked out.
"Summer Jackson, who did you have sex with?" April demanded from her friend.
"Jeff" Summer said.
"Omg" April said.
"Yeah and I don't regret it" Summer said.
"I just don't know if I'm ready to have a kid and I don't think Jeff is ready
to be a father" Summer said.
About 30 minutes later...
"Summer, I have the results of your pregnancy test" Mrs. Dion replied and
Summer and April just looked at each other ready to hear what was next.
Chapter 11
Back at the house...
"Hey Matt, do you know where Summer is?" Jeff asked.
"No, my girlfriend isn't here either" Matt said.
"Your girlfriend?" Jeff asked.
"Yeah, I asked her to be my girlfriend last night and she said yes" Matt said.
"That's awesome Matt" Jeff said.
"Yeah, I know" Matt said.
At the doctor's office...
"Well, am I pregnant or not?" Summer asked.
"No, sweetie, you are not pregnant, but you do have the flu" Mrs. Dion said.
"Oh, ok" Summer said and even though she had told April she didn't want to
have a baby she did actually want to be pregnant with Jeff's baby.
"Here's some medication that you need to take for 2 weeks and then you should
be as good as new" Mrs. Dion said.
"Thanks" Summer replied and her and April left.
Outside..
"Sum, sweetie, are you ok?" April asked her friend who appeared very upset.
"I'm fine except I feel like I'm going to hurl" Summer said and looked out
the window as they drove home.
"We're home guys" April said.
"Hey sweetie, where have you been?" Matt asked as he kissed April.
"I took Summer to the doctor because she wasn't feeling well" April replied.
"Oh, well, I know someone who can make you feel better Sum" Matt said.
"Hey Jeff, your girlfriend is back" Matt yelled as Jeff came out of his room
and into the living room.
"Hey love, are you ok?" Jeff asked.
"No, I have the flu" Summer said and laid her head on Jeff's shoulder.
"Aww, my poor baby, you should go lay down and Jeffy will bring you some
chicken soup" Jeff said in a funny voice that made Summer laugh.
"Yes, sir" she said and kissed his cheek and went into her room.
In Summer's room...
Man, part of me wishes that I was pregnant but then part of me doesn't Summer
thought to herself but before she could think anymore she heard a knock at
her door.
"Come in" she said.
"Hey love, sorry I was so long" Jeff replied as he brought her the chicken
soup.
"It's ok, I'm actually not very hungry so if you don't mind, I would like to
go to sleep" Summer replied which hurt Jeff's feelings.
"Oh, ok, well, just call me if you need anything" Jeff said as he kissed
Summer's forehead.
"Ok" Summer replied.
"I love you Summer" Jeff said and started to walked out of the door.
"I love you too Jeff" Summer replied and drifted off to sleep.
Chapter 12
Later in the afternoon...
"So, can you tell me why you and Summer really went to the doctor?" Matt
asked.
"She wasn't feeling well so I took her to the doctor, nothing else to it"
April replied.
She was pretty sure Summer didn't want anyone to know that she took a
pregnancy test.
"Oh, ok" Matt said kissing April on the cheek.
"What do you want to do now?" April asked.
"Hmm, we could go swimming" Matt said.
"Ok, let me go change" April said and walked into her room to change.
In Summer's room....
Man, I feel like crap Summer thought.
"Hey love, how are you feeling?" Jeff asked as he entered her room.
"I feel like I'm going to puke again" Summer said.
"Aww, I'm sorry sweetie" Jeff said and kissed her forehead.
"Jeff, I have to tell you something" Summer said.
"Ok, what do have to tell me?" Jeff asked.
"When I went to see the doctor today, I had to take a pregnancy test" Summer
said as Jeff's eyes got bigger.
"Are you pregnant?" Jeff asked.
"No, I'm not" Summer said and looked away from Jeff.
"Oh, are you ok?" Jeff asked.
"I guess. I think part of me wanted to have your baby" Summer said.
"Aww, sweetie, there will be time for that. I promise" Jeff said.
"But you don't want a child right now do you?" Summer asked.
"No, to be honest, but that doesn't mean I don't want to have a baby with you
in the future" Jeff said smiling as he brushed Summer's hair out of her eyes.
"Ok" Summer said and again turned away from Jeff.
"Sweetie, please don't turn away from me, you know I love you but we just got
back together" Jeff said.
"I know. I'm sorry" Summer said.
"It's ok, listen you better get some more sleep and I will be back in a
couple of hours and we will have dinner together, ok?" Jeff said.
"Alright" Summer replied and laid back down.
"Here, I will put on your 98 Degrees cd for you to help you sleep" Jeff said
as he kissed Summer's cheek.
"Thanks" Summer replied and within a few seconds of the cd playing she fell
fast asleep.
Jeff just watched her for a few minutes before leaving the room. Gosh she's
beautiful he thought and walked out of the room.
Back in the living room..
"Are you ready to go swimming?" April asked Matt.
"Yup, you look fantastic" Matt replied.
"Thanks, hey Jeff, do you want to go swimming?" April asked as Jeff entered
the room.
"No, I think I will stay inside in case Summer needs me" Jeff replied and sat
down on the couch.
"Oh ok, well, if you need us, we will be outside" Matt said and the two of
them walked outside.
"Ok, later" Jeff said and flipped on the tv.
Jeff tried watching tv for a while, but his mind was in another place. He
couldn't stop thinking about the conversation he had with Summer. It wasn't
like he didn't want to have a child with Summer because he loved her deeply
but they had just got back together a few weeks before and he wanted them to
get to know each other again. He just hoped she really did understand. His
concentration was suddenly interrupted by Summer yelling for him.
"Jeff, Jeff, where are you?" Summer yelled and he rushed into her room.
"Baby, I'm here, what's wrong?" Jeff asked.
"Oh, gosh, I just had a bad dream. I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you"
Summer said.
"It's ok, I just thought something was really wrong" Jeff said and he kissed
Summer's forehead.
"Well, I'm going back in the living room so just yell if you need anything"
Jeff said and he started to get off the bed.
"Jeff?" Summer said.
"Yes" He replied.
"Can you stay in here with me and just hold me for a while?" Summer asked.
"Sure baby, I won't go anywhere until you want me too" Jeff said and he laid
right next to Summer and put his arms around her and the two of them fell
asleep.
A few hours later...
"I wonder where Jeff and Summer are" April asked and her and Matt entered the
house.
"Maybe they are in Summer's room" Matt said and they walked back to Summer's
room and quietly opened the door.
"Look, how cute they are" April said and they closed the door back.
"I know, you know what?" Matt asked as they walked back down the hall.
"What?" April asked.
"I bet within a few months they will be engaged" Matt said.
"Wow, you think they will be engaged so soon" April asked.
"Most definitely. They have known each other so long and they never have
stopped loving each other" Matt said.
"Aww, well, I think that will be so great if they do get engaged" April said.
"Yeah, my brother deserves the best and Summer is great" Matt said.
"Yes, she is" April said.
"Well, I think I am going to go call my dad to see how he is" Matt said and
walked into his room.
"Ok, I am going to watch tv" April said and within a few minutes she was fast
asleep on the couch.
Matt walked back into the room and sat next to April and fell asleep.
Chapter 13
The next day...
"Hey Matt, wake up" April said.
"Huh, oh morning" Matt said.
"We fell asleep on the couch last night" April said.
"Oh, well, I'm gonna go check on Jeff and Summer" Matt replied.
"Ok" April said and laid back down on the couch.
In Summer's room...
Vince McMahon was the guys' boss. He was owner of WWF and Jeff did not like
him very much, but he was always kind to him because he was the boss.
In the living room..
"Hey Vince, It's Jeff, I'm just checking in"
"Hi Jeff, how are you and Matt doing?" Vince asked.
"Great. I just got back together a few weeks ago with my ex-girlfriend" Jeff
said smiling.
"Well, that's great. I'm glad you called because I need you and your brother
back to work in 2 weeks" Vince said.
"What the hell? We aren't suppose to be back at work for another month Vince"
Jeff was practically screaming.
"Listen, I'm sorry Jeff but you guys have to be back in 2 weeks or you're
both fired. Good Bye" Vince said.
"Damn that man" Jeff screamed.
"What's going on Bro?" Matt asked.
"Our stupid boss is making us come back to work in 2 weeks" Jeff said very
angry.
"WHAT?" Summer asked.
"Yeah I know. I don't know what to do" Jeff said.
"What about us? We just got back together" Summer said very upset.
"I know sweetie, but it's my job. I can't help it" Jeff said trying to hug
Summer but she wouldn't let him.
"What's going on?" April asked.
"We have to go back to work in 2 weeks" Matt said.
"What the crap?" April said.
"I know, I'm sorry baby but Jeff and I have no choice" Matt said and kissed
April's forehead.
"What's going to happen to us?" April asked.
"Nothing, we are going to stay together" Matt said.
"But how?" April asked.
"Don't you worry" Matt replied.
"I'm going outside" Summer said and walked outside.
"Man, I hate this, what is going to happen to me and her now?" Jeff asked.
"I don't know Jeff" Matt said.
"I'm going to go talk to her" Jeff said and started to walk outside.
"Hey Jeff, why don't you leave her alone for a bit?" Matt said.
"No, Matt, she's my girlfriend and I want to make sure she's ok" Jeff said
and walked outside to be with Summer.
Outside..
"Hey baby" Jeff said as he sat down next to Summer.
"Hi" she replied as a tear rolled down her cheek.
"Please don't cry baby, we still have 2 weeks" Jeff said and put his arms
around Summer.
"I can't help it. I knew this was too good to be true" Summer replied.
"Don't talk like that, we don't have to break up just because I have to go
back to work sooner than we thought" Jeff said.
"But how are we going to stay together?" Summer asked.
"Hey remember a few weeks ago I asked you if you trusted me and you said
completely" Jeff said.
"Well, yeah, but that's different" Summer said.
"No, it's not. I lost you once and I am not going to lose you again Summer"
Jeff said as he pulled her close to him and kissed her.
"I love you Jeff" Summer replied.
"I love you too Summer"
"Just hold me for a while Jeff" Summer said.
"Anything you want baby" Jeff said and he held her close as she tried not to
cry.
Chapter 14
"So, what are we going to do Jeff?" Summer asked.
"I know, you and April will come with us until you have to go back to school"
Jeff said.
"But do you think Mr. McMahon will let us come along?" Summer asked.
"Yes, because some of the other guys' wives and girlfriends come along
sometimes" Jeff replied.
"Oh, ok, well let's go tell Matt and April" Summer said as she stood up and
grabbed Jeff's hand. The two walked back into the house.
In the house...
"Hey Sum, are you ok?" Matt asked,
"Yeah, I'm fine. Tell them your idea, Jeff" Summer said.
"What idea?" April asked.
"Well, we can bring you and Sum along until you have to go back to school"
Jeff said.
"Yeah, that's a great idea" Matt said.
"Yeah, sounds great to me" April said.
"Good so it's settled then" Jeff said.
"So, let's go out tonight sweetie" Jeff said looking into Summer's brown
eyes. He loved how they were always sparkling.
"Sounds good, I will go get ready" Summer said and kissed Jeff.
In Summer's room...
What should I wear tonight Summer thought? She was so happy that she was
going to be able to be with Jeff longer than she thought. I think I'll wear
his favorite dress Sumemr thought. Jeff had bought the dress for her as a
birthday gift a year before. It was a solid black dress with blue flowers at
the top. He always sent her gifts on her birthday. This is going to be a
great evening she thought.
Back in the living room...
"So, where are you taking Summer tonight?" Matt asked.
"I thought I would take her to the beach since it's only like 45 minutes
away." Jeff said.
"That's cool. She loves the beach." Matt said.
"Yup, she does" Jeff said with an interesting look on his face.
"What are you thinking about Jeff?" Matt asked.
"Nothing" Jeff said smiling.
"You lie, what are you planning on doing tonight?" Matt asked.
"Well, if you must know, I'm going to propose" Jeff said.
"Oh wow, that's great Jeff, but don't you think it's too soon" Matt said a
little concerned.
"No, Matt, I love Summer and I have for 3 years and I want to marry her" Jeff
said showing Matt the ring.
"Damn, bro, that's gorgeous" Matt said.
"Not as beautiful as her" Jeff said.
"Well, good luck tonight" Matt said and walked down the hall to his room.
Jeff was left there in the living room just thinking about the girl who he
hoped would become his wife.
Chapter 15
"Matt, come here please" Jeff said as he paced back and forth.
"What's up?" Matt asked.
"I'm nervous" Jeff said.
"About what?" Matt asked completely forgetting what his brother told him a
few minutes ago.
"Uh, hello, I'm proposing to Summer tonight" Jeff said.
"Oh yeah, sorry. What are you nervous for?" Matt asked.
"I don't know. I guess I'm afraid that..." Jeff started.
"That she will say no or it's too soon" Matt finished.
"Yeah, something like that" Jeff said.
"Jeff, from what I can tell just by the way Summer acts when she's around
you, she is completely in love with you" Matt said.
"Yeah, but will she want to marry me?" Jeff asked.
"Excuse me, what did you just say?" April asked as she came from her room.
"OMG, what did you hear?" Jeff asked in a panic.
"I think I just heard you say you want to know if Summer will marry you"
April said.
"You heard right and if you tell her I swear.." Jeff started.
"My lips are sealed and congratulations" April said smiling as she walked
back into her room.
"Congratulations, she hasn't accepted yet" Jeff said.
"Yeah, but she will" Matt said and walked back into his room.
About 30 minutes later..
"Hey Jeff, I'm ready" Summer said as she came out of her room and Jeff's jaw
almost hit the floor.
"Wow, my girlfriend is the most beautiful girl in the world" He said as he
kissed her lightly on the lips.
"You better say that" Summer laughed.
"Well, let's go you sexy thang" Summer said slightly giggling.
"You're crazy" Jeff said and put his arm around Summer and the two were off
to the beach.
At the beach...
"Jeff, are you ok?" Summer asked.
Jeff had been quite nervous ever since they left the house and she was
wondering if he was feeling well.
"Yeah, I'm fine, sorry" Jeff said trying to hide his nerves although he knew
Summer figured something was up.
"Ok, Jeffery, something is wrong with you, now what is it?" Summer demanded
to know.
"Nothing, really, I'm ok" Jeff said.
Summer got up from where they were sitting and walked down by the ocean. She
was a little upset because she knew something was up and Jeff was not
telling.
Great I've made her mad Jeff thought. Well, I hope this doesn't ruin what I'm
about to do.
Jeff got up and walked over to Summer and got done on one knee.
"What are you doing?" Summer asked a little surprised.
"Shh, let me talk" Jeff said.
"Summer, I love you, I've been in love with you since the first day I laid
eyes on you and I know we haven't been back together that long but there is
no other woman that I would rather spend all my time with than you, will you
marry me?" Jeff asked.
Summer was completely speechless.
