The inaugural MLW Saturday Night Fire kicked off with the Corporate Connection, Hot Shot Eddy Cashmere and MLW Owner $E-Money$ coming to the ring. Money stated that rather than talk himself, he would let the Hot Shot explain why he turned on his partner Ryan “Shotgun” Morris at Spring Slugfest. To chants of “you sold out” the Hot Shot said that he had a good reason for dumping the Shotgun. Cashmere said that Morris’ ego was the highest in MLW and Morris cared more about regaining the MLW Championship than the Rebel Arsenal team. Cashmere stated that at Slugfest, he ended the Shotgun’s hopes of being MLW Champion and soon enough he would end his career. Cashmere then turned his attention to the Turmoil Match to crown a new MLW International Champion saying he would walk away with the gold to add a new notch to his belt. $E-Money$ then took the mic and explained that ABH Matt Casey wouldn’t be at the show because of a sickness. Money told Matt to “tell your story walking Allen Jackson. You’re out!” Money stated that no one would sit home and collect checks at his expense.
The Turmoil Match for the vacant MLW International Title was next. The match would start with 2 competitors. Every 2 minutes, a new wrestler would enter with a maximum of 4 wrestlers in the ring at the same time. Eliminations could only occur by pinfall or submission. “The Silent One” Big D was the first out and his opponent was the Masked Intraviac. Intraviac overpowered D early on hitting a chokeslam and a Masked People’s Stomp, but D kicked out. When Intraviac started yelling at the ref, D took the advantage. D wrapped Intraviac in a spinning toe hold, but Intraviac grabbed the ropes. D worked Intraviac in the corner as the next wrestler came to the ring, the debuting Kid Krazy! Krazy went right after Intraviac and beat him with a fameasser! Krazy then hit D with some punches. D went for a big splash, but Krazy banged his head against all 3 turnbuckles in the corner. 2 minutes expired and the Hot Shot was next out! Krazy hit D with the Bronco Buster, but Cashmere met Krazy with the Hot Spot to eliminate the newcomer. D and Cashmere battled with Cashmere using his size to beat D down. D reversed an Irish whip and hit Cashmere with a shoulder block. D put Cashmere in an STF, but Cashmere powered out. The MLW Extreme Champion Pat was next out! The ring cleared as Pat brought out some weapons. D attacked Pat from behind and the two enemies worked over Pat, but couldn’t decide who would pin him. Cashmere hit Pat with a Yakuza kick, but D hit Cashmere with a license plate. Pat picked up a bat and beat both men down. Cashmere regained the advantage and hit Pat with a rolling leg drop. D made it back to his feet and put Cashmere in a sleeper hold followed by a side Russian legsweep. Pat broke up the pin, but got taken down by Cashmere. Cashmere put Pat in a camel clutch and pulled the headband over Pat’s eyes blinding the Extreme Champ. Nightstalker was next out, but Pat met him with a bat to the back. Nightstalker missed a splash and got hit with a DDT by Pat. Cashmere hit Nightstalker with a European uppercut and made Nightstalker submit to the Texas Cloverleaf. Cashmere worked on Big D as a loud “OOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAWAAAAAA” hit the loud speakers! It was the return of the Sickness! Pat met him with a DDT, but Sickness hit him with some punches. Sickness went for the Infection, but Pat held on for the Patmission to make the Sickness submit! Cashmere spit some water on D as Pat brought in a ladder to debut the 5 Cock Frog Splash. The Sickness came back into the ring and hit the Infection from the ladder on Pat! D rolled on top of him to eliminate the Extreme Champ. The two brawled outside of the ring, while D threw Cashmere into the ladder in the ring. Cashmere threw D out of the ring. Cashmere grabbed a lawn chair and set it up in the ring to go for a flying tope, but the chair gave out and Cashmere fell on the ropes. D went back into the ring with the bat and hit Cashmere in the stomach with the knob. Cashmere reversed a suplex attempt for a two count. Cashmere hit D with a reverse DDT, but got a two count once more. Cashmere set the ladder up in the corner and suplexed onto the standing ladder, but D refused to be pinned! Cashmere went for a clothesline, but D took him down with a drop toe hold and applied the Silencer! D was holding onto the ropes for leverage and referee broke it up. D went for a big splash, but Cashmere moved out of the way and hit the Hot Spot on D for the 1,2,3! The Hot Shot was crowned the new MLW International Champion, but before he could celebrate, Slipknot’s “My Plague” hit as Ryan “Shotgun” Morris ran down with an axe and hit Cashmere with the end of it! Morris threw Cashmere into the ring preparing to do more damage, but Hot Shot ran out!
Backstage, $E-Money$ and the Hot Shot were celebrating, until the MLW Champion Notorious Neil interrupted! Neil wanted to know who was the #1 Contender since ABH was MIA. Cashmere didn’t take too kindly to the interruption as the 2 champs argued. Money broke it up and told Neil that if Shotgun can beat Neil non-title tonight, he would be #1 Contender. Neil accepted!
Kid Krazy picked up Pat’s Extreme Title stating it could be his. But the real champ told the Puerto Rican native that the belt was his!
It was now time for the Shotgun/Neil match. If Shotgun wins the match, he is the new #1 Contender for the MLW Championship! Neil was posing, and the Shotgun took advantage and attacked him. Shotgun beat Neil in the corner with some hard punches. Morris missed a clothesline and Neil chopped him in the corner followed by a clothesline. Neil hit Morris with an elbow drop, but only got a 2 count. Shotgun hit Neil with a diamond cutter and stomped on the champ. Shotgun hit his rolling senton for a 2 count. Shotgun went for a piledriver, but Neil backdropped him, but Shotgun held on for a pin for a 2 count. Shotgun went to the second rope, but Neil caught up to him and suplexed him, holding him in the air for a while showing his strength! Neil hit Morris with a kneedrop, but Morris kicked out at 2. Neil did his patented 8 punches in the corner, but Morris reversed a clothesline attempt into a kneckbreaker. Morris reversed a suplex attempt into one of his own. Morris threw Neil out of the ring and went to the top rope for a flying elbow drop to the outside. Morris threw Neil back into the ring and hit him with a kneelift. Morris speared Neil followed by a pedigree, but Neil Neiled up from the pin! Morris tried to fight back but Neil hit Morris with a clothesline and went for the leg drop, but Morris moved out of the way. Neil threw Morris into the ref knocking him down. Morris hit Neil with a DDT. Neil powerslammed Morris and hit the leg drop, but the referee was down. The Hot Shot came into the ring and went to hit Morris with the International Title, but Morris ducked and Neil got the shot instead. Morris clotheslined Hot Shot out of the ring and went to the top rope to his Neil with the Silver Bullet! The ref came to and made the 3 count making Shotgun the #1 Contender for the MLW Championship! Hot Shot came back into the ring and laid out Shotgun. Neil chased Cashmere out and demanded that his music be played. Shotgun didn’t like that and knocked the champ out with a rock!
Pat was leaving the MLW Arena, but $E-Money$ caught up with him. Money offered Pat a spot in the Connection, but Pat simply walked away. Money looked into the camera and said "everyone has a price"!
