Since our camcorder is currently in the shop being repaired, here is a quick run through of what went down at Spring Slugfest. Full results will be up once we get the camcorder back.

The Free For All began with Vance MacDougal welcoming the new MLW On-Air Talent Coordinator, Lance Carusso. Carusso didn't waste any time as he called Nightstalker 2 into his office. He told Stalker that he needs a new look and that Carusso was going to make him the next American Idol, Justin Timberstalk. Nightstalker 2 looked bewildered.

This brought us to our first match between Timberstalk and Bobby Shockwave (formerly Jay). Timberstalk came out to Justin Timberlake's "Rock Your Body" and was dancing away, along with backup dancers Chainsaw Chuck and Jacktus Caak. Pretty impressive dance moves, but Shockwave gained the victory by submission with the Maximum Voltage.

Vance MacDougal along with some MLW superstars were in the ring for the drawing of the teams to enter the MLW Tag-Team Championship tournament that will begin this May. MacDougal explained that all the MLW superstars names were in the hat and MacDougal would pick a name, then another and those two would be partners. Already entered in the tournament were the teams of The Nightstalkers (1 & 2) and The Hardcore Icons (Chainsaw Chuck and Jacktus Caak). Here are the teams and some are downright surprising

MLW Champion PAT and Ryan "Shotgun" Morris

Kid Krazy and The Supervillain

Nemesis and Money

Big D and Bobby Shockwave

Hot Shot and The Sickness

Notorious Neil and ABH

Along with The Nightstalkers and The Hardcore Icons, that makes 8 teams. The tournament will be constructed in the coming weeks.

To end the Free For All, Chainsaw Chuck bumped into Money. Chuck started to verbally berate Money, prompting Money to challenge the Hardcore Icon to a stretcher match at Slugfest. Chuck accepted.

To begin Spring Slugfest, Vance MacDougal told all the MLW wrestlers and fans that weapons and interference would only be allowed in Xtreme Title matches and other novelty matches. Disobeyers would be disqualified. Spring Slugfest Results are as follows:

The MLW International Champion Big D and ABH Matt Casey battled to a double DQ when the two began brawling all over the MLW Arena. D is still the MLW International Champion.

Kid Krazy defeated the Supervillain.

Money defeated Chainsaw Chuck in a Stretcher Match.

The Hot Shot Eddy Cashmere defeated Notorious Neil.

Nemesis defeated The Sickness in a hellatious battle to win the MLW Xtreme Championship.

The Main Event between PAT and Ryan "Shotgun" Morris for the MLW Championship never happened due to technical difficulties. The match will be rescheduled soon.
