The McMahon-Helmsley Saga

As we enter the new millennium, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and his new wife Stephanie McMahon have taken over control of the WWF. For years Triple H's dream was to become a force to be reckoned with in the WWF, but, one way or another, his path was always blocked. However, Triple H never gave up hope and he eventually stumbled upon something that even the shrewd Vince McMahon never thought of. He married the boss' daughter!
Imagine Stephanie McMahon, a girl who was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, marrying a Helmsley? Actually, if Hunter Hearst was related to the family who owned the hotel chain, there would be rejoicing in the McMahon household. But unfortunately for the McMahons, this Helmsley was born on the other side of Greenwich and never even stepped foot into his namesake's hotel.
But even though he doesn't own a stake in the hotel chain of the same name, Helmsley's done even better by marrying into the billion dollar McMahon empire. Now, instead of having to purchase stock options in World Wide Federation Entertainment, Hunter Hearst Helmsley has acquired a full 50% share of his new wife's WWFE stock. Hey, that's not bad for one night's work for a quickie wedding in a cheap 24-hour Las Vegas drive-in chapel.
Certainly there will be more to this story in the months ahead. But until a divorce takes place--or perhaps the McMahons petition the Pope and request an annulment--Hunter Hearst Helmsley will be calling all the shots in the WWF.
