Kurt Angle and Stephanie McMahon: They once had an angle together. It's true. It's true.
Stephanie hints at a revival of her storyline with Kurt Angle

According to fan reports, Stephanie McMahon hinted on a radio show over the weekend that the WWF is looking to continue her thought to be aborted storyline with Kurt Angle that began late last year. In the angle, Steph seemed to have somewhat of a crush on Angle. Therefore, she hired Steve Blackman to assist in all of the Olympian's matches. After Angle's undefeated streak ended, the scenario was seemingly dropped.
With Stephanie being such an integral part of WWF main-event storylines, any rub she can give Angle would be a positive one. When her "marriage" with Test ended, his career stalled. However, Angle has had positive heel heat since his debut with the WWF. An alliance with Steph would likely only further his career. Their inevitable split probably wouldn't hamper him at all.
Unlike so many others who were given title gold early in their WWF stays (i.e. Rocky Maivia), Angle's win was instantly accepted by crowds. The fans reacted to it. No one can say for sure if Angle is ready to tackle the big belt yet, but any kind of association with a McMahon is usually an indication that a big push is right around the corner.
