WVW GUIDELINES
How to RP your way to success
Hi, it's time for me to adress the rp situation,
and what some guidlines are....
1)Grammar and punctuation: There is a 12 year old rp'r whose rp's pass my guidelines
and if he can do it, the rest of you can (unless you are under 10 and I don't
know). See this? That was a question, and this is a statement. Notice how I make
the first letter capitol and I put a period at the end. Also notice how each sentence
has it's own period and they do not run into each other. It's not that hard...
poor grammar and punctuation WILL make me look poorly on your RP!!! Why? It makes
it VERY HARD to read!
2) Racial slurs and the like: Words that make fun of race, and you should know
what I am talking about, are FORBIDDEN! You NEVER hear them on WWF and you should
not write them here. Gay slang as well should be kept to a minumum. Fag, homo,
queer... I don't like them, don't use them! Cursing should also be kept to a minumum,
UNLESS they are censored, like F#$% YOU ALL!
3)Set a scene: Every RP does not have to take place in the ring or at the arena.
They can be at a bar, in another country, on a boat... as long as it makes sense.
Describe the scene a little, it adds a lot!
4)Trash talk... BE CREATIVE!: My main problem with #2 is it is BORING! Don't say,
"I will kick your ass, bitch", try "I'll make your ass look like
Tina Turner after Ike went on a bender!" Yeah, the second is kind of offensive,
but in a good creative way! And it makes the same point!
BOTTOM LINE: If you lose it's because you're opponents RP's were better (unless
in a case where they were even, then because I liked that story progression better)
If you lose alot, then you better get some rp skills or just be a jobber. Just
don't complain about.
