Before I get started with this weeks report, I want to send out get well wishes to Jim Mitchell, the Sinister Minister, who was injured in an accident before the ppv Sunday night. Get well soon, we miss you.
Speaking of the ppv, EXCELLENT show as usual from the men and women of ECW. I think the accident with the Sinister Minister threw things off a bit and they had to book a couple of matches on the fly, i.e. the Kid Kash/CW Anderson match. I'm not quite sure why they pulled Mikey out of the tag match with an "injury" though.
Welcome back Swinger. And what a return, against the very same team that put him out! Way to go! He looked very good after his time out, can't believe he was wrestling without some sort of face protection after suffering from a cracked orbital bone which required surgery.
Angel suffered first and second degree burns going through the table during the flaming tables match with Balls Mahoney and Chilly Willy but the apparently won't keep him out of action. Get well soon, Angel.
Rhino defeated New Jack after being dominated for most of the match. At least he didn't drop the strap to him. Sorry but I don't get the fascination with New Jack, he can't wrestle.
Congratulations to the new ECW Heavyweight champion Steve Corino. It is a well deserved title reign but I would much rather have seen Jerry hold it for awhile longer. It was a pretty good match though. Now I wonder how long it will take the big 2 to decide they're going to do a double jeopardy match and find some way to screw up the premise.
Now on to this week's show. Actually it was from last week since I do my report on the Friday show on the Sunshine Network.
-Ya know, Corino has some serious problems, standing in a room with Dawn Marie and has "no hard feelings"!!! The woman is sexy.
-New Jack, GO AWAY! OH HELL NO! YOU DON'T DISS ON DAWN MARIE!!! He makes some reference to a deer shot in the head on the wall. Umm, that wouldn't be hanging on the wall, dear. A deer shot in the head would be worthless as a trophy.
-Why in the name of all that's holy and unholy did he just start bleeding?! Even Corino has to take a couple of shots before he does that.
-Corino tells Dawn Marie to stay in the locker room and she's not happy about it. She starts pouting until Jack tells here that she's already on TV and she hops onto the table and goes into ditz mode!
-Joey Matthews and Christian York against the Ministry of Mirth. *sob* Sorry, I miss the Minister already.
-Rhino promo, says that New Jack will be screaming his name. Rhino, darlin', I didn't need to know that about you.
-Back to the match. I love the Sinister Minister but if he uses those talons on one of the babies, I may have to get a little bit upset.
-SUCKER!! Sorry, Christian, but you should have known better than to accept Tajiri's hand, he's bonkers!
-Mikey normal?! Those are two words that shouldn't be in the same paragraph much less the same sentence.
-OWWWWW! Poor Joey, Mikey and Tajiri try to decapitate him.
-*sigh* Sinister Minister could whisper in my ear anytime.
-Hey, Joey, time for a new pair of tights, those have a hole in them.
-Matthews and York are definitely to be watched. They've got a great future in this business barring injuries.
-WHY'D TAJIRI USE THE MIST?!?!?! CHEAP WIN!!!!
-Spike needs to calm down a little bit, the floors going to catch on fire from his pacing.
-How crazy am I? Chris Hamrick is growing on me big time.
-Spike is just too cute when he's not making that fucked up face.
-Well that was short and to the point. Spike wins! Right now, Hamrick is about the only person that I would trust in the ring with Spike until he's back at 100%.
-Here comes Hot Commodity.
-MY NAME IS KIIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDD KASH to the rescue. He ends up being double teamed which brings out the Danaconda and Road Kill.
-Tommy?! He walked onto camera in front of Joey and Joel and stared at the camera before walking off. That was very strange.
-Danny Daniels gets a title shot?!?! WTF?!?! So it's just used as an excuse for Jerry to give him a much needed ass whooping but that's beside the point.
-Rhino and Credible against Corino and New Jack. Geez with New Jack in the ring did anyone really expect a wrestling match?! It quickly turns into a blood bath. In the crowd, Rhino throws a bloody Corino into the wall and he leaves a bloody spot. Hey it could have been worse, he could have stuck!
-Corino and New Jack win. Sandman comes to the ring to celebrate and offers Corino a beer. Guess Corino doesn't like beer because he knocks it out of his hand before he walks out of the ring.
Overall another wonderful show from EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING! I'm kind of scared to watch this week because I'm sure it will be a highlight show from the pay per view. Somebody please assure me that Paul E has more class than to have a Sinister Minister promo from the hospital.
