The wind blue through her hair as she sat in her car. It was late, and she was driving home. The windows were down, and the radio was blasting. Maybe it was so loud, cause deep down inside she thought that the sound of the music could drain out the thoughts in her mind. She hadn't talk to Jeff, She hadn't talk to Matt. All she knew is that she told WWF writing staff that she was taking time off. She couldn't deal right now with all the dramas of real life, how was she suppose to deal with the presures of writing drama. She drove until she got home at about midnight.
Skyler, let herself in and made herself some hot tea before going to bed.
She stayed home the next few days, trying to keep herself busy. She went shopping, and to the movies, and out to eat, but everywhere she went she found herself missing Jeff. She wanted to be with him, but didn't want it to ruin his family.
A few days after she had gotten home, Skyler was at the local mall. She was in a jewlery store, looking at some braclets (lets face it, if there was anything that could put her in a good mood, besides matt and jeff, it would me dimonds or gold.) She felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around. It was Mr. Hardy, Matt and Jeff's father. She was frightened, surely he had to have heard all that's gone on. She prepared herself as much as she could for him to make a scene in the mall and embarress her. "Can we go have a cup of coffee young lady?" He asked softly. She shook her head and walked to a starbucks in the mall with Mr. Hardy.
"Mr Hardy, I'm sooo sorry, I never meant for any of this to happen.... you gotta believe me. If I could spare either one of your sons feelings I would. I don't think of myself as a discusting person and you've got to believe if it were up to me, this whole situation would have never taken place." She blurted out when they sat down, before Mr. Hardy was even able to get a word out.
"Oh stop whining young lady, I raised my two boys to be wrestlers, I'll be damned if I'm gonna hear you complain." They both sat there silent for a minete.
"Why did you want me to come in here and have coffee with you, if you aren't gonna talk to me about anything?" Skyler questioned.
"Well, I've been thinking about this whole situation and its pretty screwed up... But I wanted to tell you, It hurts me to see either of them with a broken heart. And I know what its like to lose someone you love." Mr Hardy took a breath, "I guess what I'm trying to say is, You don't have to hurt them both. If you wanna be with Jeff, sure Matt's gonna be upset, but he's a strong boy, he'll move on. So why make Jeff suffer also? and visa versa. Ya hear what Im saying?"
Skyler took in everything that he said, but she was unsure Jeff would just forgive her for just walking out on him like that.
"Yes, I understand you."
