My Experiences
It was August,2000 and we heard that the boyz and
lita
would be signing autographs at raceway park in
freehold nj. i was so excited, we drove there about a
half an hour away and stood in line for two hours in
90° weather. while we were standing in line i heard
that jeff wasnt gonna be there, i was bummed but still
excited for matt and lita. when they finally arrived
everyone started cheering. they sat at thier tables
and we waited till it was our turn to go up there. i
felt like such a loser, i had such butterflies in my
stomach. we went up to matt first, i asked him to sign
my hardy boy fear is just a four letter word shirt and
he did. he asked me what my name was then said, "nice
to meet you, im matt" i was thinking in my head 'no
shit you are matt,i just stood in line for two hours
to meet you. he was so nice, then i went to lita and
i said to her, "i know your not a hardy boy but can
you sign my shirt?" shes like, "sure can". she smiled
and signed it for me. i cried when we left because i
just met like to of my biggest rolemodels. it was so
awesome! i cant wait to meet them again and jeff
better be there next time.
In march,2001 I went to ridgewood,nj to a local
bookstore called bookends to meet my sisters obsession
triple h. we stood in line, this time it was freezing
cold outside. we got in and i saw him. he is huge in
person. i snapped lots of pictures, my sister was
hysterical crying because she loves him so much. we
went up to the table, and when he saw her he goes,
"what the hell happened to you?" and we all laughed.
then he looked at my younger sister and said. "did you
beat her up?" we all smiled. this time i kept my cool,
and shook his hand and said, "nice meeting you" he
said it back. and he signed a wrestlemania book for us
"hhh the game" he wrote. he plays such a bad guy on
tv, but in real life hes down to earth, and kinda
goofy. my sister and i stood off to the side when we
were done talking to him so she could collect herself,
and he kept waving at her so she would stop crying...
it was kinda cute.
