Tournament Semi final
Mal Sanders(Euro Middleweight Champ) v James Mason(Brit Middleweight Champ)
Less than 300 in attendance here in a small boxing ring. Very slow start to this one, with Ye Olde Handshake. Sanders gets the upperhand and winds up the crowd. Durng the match, Sanders undos all the turnbuckles and blames James Masonm who gets his first warning. This backfires as he gets rammed in the stomach at the unprotected corner! Mason sets up Mal for a ball shot but the ref stops him. At 10 minutes the pace quickens with Sanders taking over with a running lariat + a double axe handle off the top gets a near fall. A mistake by Sanders allows Mason to hit a cross body from the top for the win. Worst match of the night.

2nd Semifinal
Skinner v Robbie Brookside(Hardcore champ)
Early exchanges are lost by the WWF Superstar Skinner and he goes for a walk. Ye Olde Handshake. Hardcore champion, Hardcore? Whatever. Anyway, Skinner stomps Brookside to the outside. Gets a warning for stopping him re-enter the ring. Roll up for 2 by Brookside as Skinner' hands are kicked off the ropes by the ref. Brookside kicks ass and Skinner takes a walk. Brookside dominates still tohugh with weardowns and another near fall. Skinner pulls Brookside's hair and is wanred by the ref. Skinner grabs his rope and waffles Brookside with it. Then chokes him with the rope in the corner. Skinner keeps control with an abdominal stretch. He uses the ropes for leverige but is tripped by Brookside and is promptly low blowed by Skinner and then another ball shot for Skinner's final warning. Headlock applied. Arm goes down 1 time only. Skinner next is hung upside down in the ropes and dropkicked in the face by Brookside. Skinner does a cheap rollup with feet on the ropes for the 3. But the decision is reversed, and Brookside gets a rollup form behind for the win seconds later.

Tekure & Dusty Wolfe v The Bushwhackers
Bushwhackers get on the mic. Apparently Aldershot is Bushwhacker country. Chant of BUSH - WHACK - ERS. Butch + Tekure start out with the masked Tekure winning the early exchanges. Butch comes back though with a lariat and him and Luke do double punch routine in the corner. Double team move by the Whackers force Tekure & Wolfe to gain their bearings on the outside. Butch still in control when Tekure re-enters, Tag To Luke who knocks down Tekure. Duggan impression by Butch on the apron. Tag To Dusty Wolfe but Luke continues to control the fight. Finally a kneelift by Wolfe but he misses a leg drop and Luke controls. Wolfe ducks and hits Luke with a big lariat but misses an elbow. Tekure comes in but is promptly double clotheslined by Luke and Butch as Tekure & Wolfe go for another walk and leave the ringside area. They come back at 8 on the count and attack Butch from behind and hit a double elbow for a near fall. Another double team move but Luke brakes up the count. Tekure attacks Luke but misses what looke dlike was going to be a standing bronco buster in the corner. Tag made and Luke cleans house with a DDT. Battering ram on Wolfe for the win. Surprisingly good from The Bushwhackers.

Tournament final
James Mason v Robbie Brookside
Winner of this match takes on Doink next month. Mason with early armlocks, and Brookside hits a monkey flip but Mason holds on to his wrist and applies a wrist lock. 3 snapmares from Brookside can not break the lock either. Brookside finally gets control with a backdrop and focus's on the kinee of James Mason. Robbie gets 2 from a leglock as Robbie continues the assault on Mason's legs. Mason fights back with a knee to the head. Robbie gets back with a figure 4. Broken up + a big suplex afterwards by Robbie. Fast pace action as Mason gets 2 from a roll up. Cross body by Mason gets another 2 and both wallop each other with European uppercuts. Belly to back suplex by Brookside with bridge gets a near fall. Mason reverses a lockup to a 2 count. 60 seconds left, lots of near falls. Crossbody by Mason. 30 seconds. Inverted DDT for 2 by Brookside Suplex for 2. TIME UP. But referee says there must be a winner so 5 minutes overtime! Brookside attacks early for the knees. A hip drop gets 2 Mason comes back with 2 from a big HHH style knee. And another 2 from a somersault. Rollup for 2 reversed for 2 and 78/79. Pace slows with 2 minutes to go. A Powerbomb for 2 by Brookside + a boston crab. 1 minute. Cross Body by Mason reverse for 2. Near fall for mason. 10 seconds and a T-Bone Suplex by Brookside gets 2 and 100/101! TIME UP AGAIN! MC asks crowd to decide the winner. Mason wins it and will fight Doink. Doink comes from behind and attacks Mason back to the locker room.

Billy Benoit(Chris's brother) v Marty Jannetty
Benoit taunts that Jannetty isn't here. Looks and sounds just like Chris Benoit. Marty eventually shows up in his New Rockers outfit. Benoit gets on the mic and threatens a smart ass in the crowd. Says Jennetty doesn't deserve a match with him. Jannetty says he'll kick his ass. Hiptoss by Benoit and the fight is on. Crowd shout Benoit sucks, I shout Benoit rules!!! Armlock reversed by throwing Benoit out of the ring. Billy hops back in and hits Jannetty with chops. Jannetty comes back with wear downs. Marty throws him out again. Doink shows up and Jannetty attacks him but is stopped by Benoit who's levelled by Doink. Benoit meets the ring post head on. Marty tries it again but it's reveresed. Back in ring. Billy controls with good ground skills. Eye rake along the ropes. Big clothesline by Benoit and a quick leg drop for 2. Side Russian leg sweep for 2. Benoit chops. Jannetty chops back but misses running elbow + Benoitn gets 2 from a vertcal suplex. Benoit continues to control with a kneelift and backbreaker for a near fall. Quick exchange enables Marty to hit a sleeper but is reversed into... THE CRIPPLER CROSSFACE! Jannetty reaches the ropes and hits a neckbreaker on the apron. Benoit back with a big slam. And goes up top for the TOP ROPE HEADBUTT! he misses though + Marty kicks ass in the corner. Benoit hits a quick slam but then misses a le gdrop. Jannetty with an atomic drop and a bulldog for the 1-2-3!

Tekure + Billy Benoit looked hot prospects to me.
Mal Sanders had grey hair and did a Ye Olde Handshake 4 times and undid the turnbuckle pads 9 times.
