Squared off against Breakdown (also known as Shadow in some places) this past weekend for the very first GZW show.

He took control of the beginning of the match by using his strength to overpower me.  I was even temporarily unable to move after being thrown in the ring (I am fine now thanx for worrying).  However after a couple of minutes I was able to out smart him when he came to the corner and took a boot to the face.  This was followed with a missile drop-kick.

He tried a quick comeback, but after a flying forearm his rear end was on the ground again.  Unfortunately Your Hero was caught in the corner while pounding on him and after a power bomb we both lay in the ring knocked out.

When Your Hero had gotten to his feet he was caught with a flurry of punches and then Albert Bombed and almost lost.

Breakdown then tried for a pump handle slam and found himself in a Deathdrop.  If the ref would have counted quicker Your Hero would have won.

Next I climbed the ropes and hit the moonsault (Finally I was getting tired of missing that).

Breakdown however was able to kick out and while I was talking to the ref he charged and killed the ref with a big boot.  I just happened to have a chain in my pocket and I swung at Breakdown and knocked his ass out.

But once again the ref counted to slow.

Breakdown, the loser, attacked me from behind while I was checking on the ref and pump handle slammed me.  I couldn't kick out because Breakdown held my tights.

Never fret Your Hero had an ace up his sleeve, you see unbeknownst to Breakdown, I had put the chain in his pants so when the ref had checked him guess who wound up winning.

Yep Your Hero gets his win anyway he can!

Me and Breakdown once again faced each other.

The loser (Breakdown) bolted to the ring and was met with a couple of punches.  Yet I was a little caught off guard seeing as how the bell hadn't even rung, so he was able to throw me around.

This time he got to cocky and was met with a kick to the face and then a superkick (in Honor of HBK).  It took a lot but finally I knocked his 6'7" ass to the ground.

But Your Hero miscalculated and missed a splash to the corner.

Breakdown choke slammed me and nearly won if it wasn't for my feet on the rope.

The loser tried the pump handle slam and once again I reversed it and once again the ref slow counted (learn to count Rick The Ref).  And I'm not sure but Breakdown must hate the ref because he threw me into him knocking him out.

Then while I was tending to the ref he hit me from behind with a boot and his finisher.

My foot was on the rope but the ref couldn't see it.  This is most unfortunate for Your Hero.

But 1-1 isn't to bad for a weekends work.
