On the 23rd Your Hero (that's me) once again squared off against my archrival Shadow - this time going by Lance Steele.

However this was no regular match.  This was the semifinals for the BGZ heavy weight title.  Whoever won this match would compete in the final round against Paul London. 

Lance decided that he needed to play to the crowd and stated what he was going to do to me (like Your Hero is scared of his 6'7" loud mouthed ass!).

So Your Hero figured he would give the man a helping hand into the ring.  After a couple of forearms to the back, his face found out where the mat was. 

Unfortunately Your Hero let up a little because I felt sorry for the loser and Your Hero was caught in a flying body press and thrown outside.

Well then the Big Goof wouldn't move so Your Hero could get in the ring.

While he was yelling Your Hero noticed something near his eyes and tried to get it, but wound up poking him in the eye. What does Your Hero get for trying to help the Big Goof? A suplex in the ring followed by a leg drop from the second rope.

Well Your Hero wasn't gonna lay down for this. After a boot to the face, followed by a superkick, Your Hero was in charge once again.

As is par for the course the ref seemed to be counting rather slowly (what's wrong with you ref!) and the Big Goof was able to kick out at 2. 

Well Your Hero got cocky and hit a double axe handle from the second rope, followed by a forearm, then a clothesline, and was caught in a full nelson slam.

Luckily the Big Goof only got a 2 count and shot me off, missed a clothesline, and got hit by Your Hero's flying forearm.

That only gave Your Hero a 2 count and as sometimes happens Your Hero was caught off guard while the Big Goof was in the corner and Your Hero was hit with a powerbomb (OUCH!) 

After what seemed like an eternity Your Hero finally was able to get his bearings and see that the Big Goof was just getting up too.  So Your Hero threw a punch and was blocked.  Tried it again blocked.  Punched to the jaw and when Your Hero turned around...

BOOM!  Albert Bomb.

Well all of you Loyal Fans know that Your Hero kicked out because he's made of greatness.  Plus Your Hero is always thinking so when the Big Goof picked Your Hero up he received a kick to the gut and almost had a Stone Cold Stunner applied but he pushed forward and went for a Rock Bottom.

This was met with a 3 elbows and a neck breaker.

1....2.....kickout, the ref counted way to slow, Your Hero let it slide. 

Up Your Hero goes 1st turnbuckle....
                                                       2nd turnbuckle....
                                                                               3rd turnbuckle...   yes all of the Loyal Followers know what came next

                                                MOONSAULT. 

Yes Your Hero hit it square this is it 1..........2.............kickout.

What the hell...

Your Hero is being swambozzled.  The Big Goof has the ref in his pocket.  So Your Hero switches tactics 

Scorpion Deathlock...  Your Hero has it applied...  the ref gets to close.....  Your Hero slips......  the Big Goof takes advantage.....

He applies the Scorpion Deathlock on Your Hero.....  Your Hero reaches for the ropes.....

the ref says YOUR HERO TAPPED......  WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOOO YOUR HERO WAS REACHING FOR THE ROPES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Robbed thats what happened to Your Hero, he was robbed. 

Well the Big Goof Lance Steele (Shadow, Breakdown, Big Goof, Etc., Etc.) went on to win the BGZ title.

Your Hero will state that this was without a doubt his best match ever and I am not ashamed at all by the performance Your Hero put on.  Lance Steele you have A.C. Riddick's respect for today.
