Ah lucha libre...

Colorful gimmicks, high flying action, a time honored tradition south of the border, and while its true that Mexican Wrestling as a whole has seen better days I still ocassionally watch. When I heard that Juventud Guerrara was going to be on CMLL a few weeks ago, I tuned in and discovered this character. I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. The obese Super Porky comes to the ring and dances with the ring girls, ring side patrons...the referee, just about anyone who will dance with him. He's like Mexico's version of Rikishi only much, much more silly. He is used to a comedic effect and works mainly 6 man tag matches due to the fact that he his a horrible worker and has little stamina, but the one thing he does have is charisma. His dancing, posing and facial expression are among some of the funniest things I have ever seen. Super Porky also possesses one of the grossest finishing manuvers ever...The broncobuster!!! YES! THIS GUY DOES THE BRONCOBUSTER...well sort of, it starts off as a broncobuster but because of his unique body structure after the broncobuster is hit, instead of shaking in his opponents face, Porky simply topples over backwards like Humpty Dumpty...hey, maybe that another gimmick he can try down the road...
