After wrestling in Mexico for a while, winning 3 Mexican National Tag Team Titles, 2 WWA World Lightweight Title, a WWA World Tag Team Title, a WWA World Welterweight Title, and a WWA World Trios Title. However, Juvi soon went to Philadelphia and Extreme Championship Wrestling, where he had fueds with Rey Mysterio Jr and Psychosis. He soon left to WCW after holding no titles in ECW.
He quickly won the World Cruiserweight title, and began a long and entertaining fued with Chris Jericho. Jericho defeated Juvi at Superbrawl '97 to unmask Guerrera. He then moved on to fued with Raven's Flock and briefly teamed with Hammer.
Juvi went 7 months with out a belt after first winning the Cruiserweight strap, and after he regained the belt, he lost it a month later to Kidman. He won the belt back from Kidman two months after that, but would lose it back to him just 6 days later at World War 3. The night he lost the Cruiserweight belt he joined the Latino World Order.
He gained control of the LWO when Eddy Guerrero was injured in a car wreck. With his small knowledge of English, he didn't have any major feuds, aside from with Disco Inferno. Soon, the group took the money from Ric Flair to take off their shirts, except from Rey Mysterio Jr. When Guerrero returned, he looked to attack all former members, and started by beating Juvi on NITRO in June '99.
Juventud's WCW future looked uncertain when Vince Russo and Ed Ferrera took control of WCW in October that year. He was forced to wrestle on NITRO against Jushin 'Thunder' Liger for the IWGP Light Heavyweight Title, and more importantly, his work visa. Juvi won and after this he became Mike Tenay's broadcast colleague on THUNDER when Larry Zybysko was 'fired'. After a few weeks and Russo and Ferrera left, Juvi was scrapped off the THUNDER team but was sidelined with injury.
He became the manager of Psychosis but when Russo and Bischoff took control of the company, he joined The Filthy Animals when he assisting them in a tag team match against Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan.
After a brief stay in 'The New Blood' with the rest of the Animals, the group turned face and were more over than ever with the fans. However, Juvi was fired during a hotel disturbance during WCW's Australian Tour in October.
Juventud Guerrera's future seems uncertain now, but he is starting to take Independent bookings and was in meetings with the WWF in early December.
