Shane Douglas is the first American Made Champion. The title used to be the International Title and Canadian Title previously.Due to the horrible events of Sept.11,2001 the title was reinstated as the United States title.

Title is officially dropped. Marking Lance Storm as the final champion until the Sept.11,2001 terrorist attacks compelled the HEW to bring the U.S title in.The American Made title was then reinstituted as the U.S title.

The Patriot captured the title by winning a tournament last eliminating Tajiri on Sept.20/2001.

Lance Storm defeated Rhyno with the Canadian Maple Leaf.Title was declared vacant at DSIBI 11 due to the sale of Hardedge.This was a tournament final.Rhyno had defeated The Patriot earlier and Storm had defeated Kid Kash earlier.
