- Gundam/Rockwell: At TWF Code Red: WildCard, Jordan Rockwell seemed seconds away from capturing the Universal title as he battled Joe Corey in a ladder match before one of the most unforgettable moments in TWF history. That would lead to Gundam revealing pure hatred for the man known as 'The Franchise' and they would collide at WrestleMania 12.
- John Cena attacked: Just as 2011 got underway, John Cena was scheduled to challenge Joe Corey for the Universal title at DoomsDay. Instead, Cena was left laying in a pool of his own blood after being attacked backstage. Law enforcement showed up to a few TWF shows as everyone seemed to be a suspect. But after months of being away, Cena returned and attacked M.X. Ogden, who was revealed as the man behind the attack.
- Maria is missing: Just before WrestleMania 12, Maria mysteriously disappeared. And although she returned at WrestleMania 12, where she went and why are answers we still don't have.
- Sting wants Taker: Sting revealed that his lone reason for coming to the TWF was to give fans wrestling's ultimate dream match. At WrestleMania 12, Sting met the deadman one on one and the two legends did not disappoint.
WINNER: John Cena attacked- 44% of vote
WINNER: Kings of Wrestling- 76% of vote
LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT OF THE YEAR: This award is just being handed out, rather than being voted on, as the division was fairly inactive this year. Congratulations to Ultimo Dragon, the 2011 Lightheavyweight of the Year.
- Gundam isn't dead: The TWF mourned what they thought was the passing of one of it's original stars, Kid Gundam, for years. But at Code Red: WildCard, fans were shocked by the frightening return he made. Now known only as Gundam, he revealed that he lied to everyone, faking his death. Not only did he have to answer to Jordan Rockwell, he also had his position in the TWF Hall of Fame taken away.
- Strife and Nails Return: The Empire, Travis Wakeman and Money Mike, were coerced into competing at WrestleMania 12, against 2 mystery men. Those men happened to be TWF legends Strife and Nails. Even though they didn't win the match, seeing these two back in a TWF ring was a memorable moment to be sure.
- Axl suplexes Tirpak: It was WrestleMania 12. It was the Empire Sweepstakes. It was Hell in a Cell. It was a superplex..... through a flaming table!
- The reign of the Saints ends: The BoogeySaints, despite never really getting much credit, had been tag team champions for going on 3 years! Many fans had given up on the thought of them ever losing the titles, but after winning a 16 team tournament, Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero, collectively known as the Kings of Wrestling, changed tag team wrestling in the TWF forever by winning the titles at WrestleMania 12.

2011 Lifetime Achievement Award: This year, I am giving this award to someone I find to interested and involved in the TWF, even when updating is slow and interest is far from where it once was. He's always right there if I need a logo or anything else done for the site and he is very good about using the forum and doing show reviews, etc. He has definitely earned his current standing in the TWF and as I've gotten to know him over the last few years, I can say that I'm proud to have him as part of the TWF. Hayden Page is this year's winner of the Lifetime Achievement award. Thank you for your help and for sticking by the TWF at all times.
