LILIAN GARCIA OPENS THINGS WITH A STRIRRING RENDITION OF THE NATIONAL ANTHEM AS THE CROWD GIVES HER A LOUD OVATION WHEN SHE's THROUGH. TEARS ARE SEEN IN LILIAN's EYES AS SHE WAVES TO THE CROWD.
COMEBACK WRESTLER OF THE YEAR. Presented by: Michael Jordan and Lance Armstrong Jordan makes a comment about coming back to a game that he dominated, joking that Rip Hamilton's the best player on the team. But on a more serious note, Lance Armstrong, amid health issues and controversy, is congratulated for his supremecy in the Tour de France. Winner: The Undertaker After being put out of action for nearly 5 months by the Gates of Hell, The Undertaker proved it's impossible to keep him down.
WOMEN's WRESTLER OF THE YEAR Presenter: Pamela Anderson Winner: Lita Lita became the first female in TWF history to win the Women's title twice, doing it all in one year and maintaining her spot as the most popular TWF diva. After Lita accepted her award, Pam Anderson kicked it to her current boyfriend, Kid Rock, who was on stage.
KID ROCK PERFORMS "FOREVER" AND THE CROWD LOVES EVERY SECOND OF IT.

LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT OF THE YEAR Presenters: Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan cut a very comedic skit before announcing the winner, with Tucker continuously referring to Jackie as "Lee". Very funny stuff that the crowd loved. Winner: Carney Somewhat of a surprise winner, Carney came on towards the end of the year, marking his territory in the division and staking a claim that he'll be a major force for a long time to come.
MATCH OF THE YEAR Presenter: Dean Malenko Malenko cleverly reminded the crowd that a match he was involved in won this award last year but this year, the race was tight, with several matches worthy of the award. Winner: House of Horror Match: Drew Blood vs. Jordan Rockwell- Welcome to our Yard (August 2001) At the first ever interfed ppv, these two put on a hell of a show, within the TWF in what is still the only match of it's kind. After a brutal war, Drew Blood got the win in a very unique match that fans won't soon forget.
COACHMAN AND TERRI ANNOUNCE THE WINNERS OF THE FEDERATION AWARDS, OR AWARDS GIVEN TO THE COMPANY AS A WHOLE. Pay-Per-View of the Year: Survivor Series 2001 This event saw it all. It had the traditional 4 on 4 elimination matches and a sellout crowd at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Rhyno became the first double champ in TWF history in a 2 fall triple threat match that many feel was the match of the year. It also saw Rowdy Roddy Piper lose his job as TWF Commissioner and it will long be remembered as the night Jordan Rockwell was ran over by a hit and run driver. Fued of the Year: Drew Blood vs. Jordan Rockwell These two had a series of battles that will define the career of these future greats. From the House of Horror match, to the masked man attack on Rockwell at Doomsday, these two had a classic fued. Storyline of the Year: Piper becomes Commish After Mr. McMahon ran Mick Foley out as Commissioner, his wife stepped in and allowed the fans to vote for the next Commissioner on TWF.com. They selected Piper and it provided for some of the most entertaining TWF tv all year. Even though he lost his job at Survivor Series, Piper was brought back and the fued between he and Vince McMahon could be too big for the TWF.

TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR Presenters: Captain Lou Albano and Afa Knowing some of the best teams ever, Albano and Afa said the winners this year, Strife and Bahamut, are two of the best they've ever seen. That's quite a compliment for the rookie team and the ultimate respect for what they've done. WINNERS: Strife and Bahamut
AS THE CROWD SINGS ALONG AND ENJOYS THE SONG, CREED PERFORMS ONE OF THE YEARS TOP HITS, "MY SACRIFICE".
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR Presenters: Pink and Ichiro of the Seattle Mariners One of the most talented young female artists in the world and the American League rookie of the year performed a skit where Pink was gonna pitch a baseball to Ichiro, who had a bat in hand. Before throwing the pitch, Pink said "wait, I think I'm gonna go to the bullpen". She went to the second row of the crowd and pulled out New York Yankees ace Roger Clemens. In a very funny scene, Ichiro put the bat down and bowed to a laughing Clemens. Winner: Drew Blood In a very close race, Drew Blood pulled it out, having a rookie year superstars dream of, winning the European title 2 times and having some epic wars with Jordan Rockwell.

AS THE AWARDS SHOW CAME BACK LIVE, TWO VERY EMOTIONAL AWARDS WERE PRESENTED AS THERE WASN'T A DRY EYE IN THE HOUSE.
Moment of the Year Presenters: NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik and FDNY Commissioner Thomas Van Essen Kerik and Van Essen were given a standing ovation before presenting the award, which was handed out very appropriately. WINNER: Lilian Garcia sings the National Anthem live on the first show after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Lilian was very emotional, yet very gracious to accept the award.
LIFETIME ACHEIVEMENT AWARD Presenter: Rudolph Guiliani Former NYC mayor Guiliani was back home and he got the best ovation all night and a well deserved round of applause. Behind him on the stage stood a giant sized, framed edition of TIME magazine, featuring him on the cover as the "man of the year". Guiliani then gave the stage to the winner, another New Yorker and a well deserved winner. The honorary guest of the evening, former TWF superstar and Commissioner, Mick Foley. WINNER: Mick Foley Foley also got the standing "O" as his wife and kids were shown in the crowd. Foley said his in ring days are probably over but did not rule out a return to wrestling in some capacity in the future.

TWF WRESTLER OF THE YEAR Presenter: "Classy" Freddie Blassie One of the all time greats Blassie gave the stage to the winner and future all time great, Triple H. WINNER: TRIPLE H After Helmsley accepted the award, his theme music played and the show went off the air. 2001 WAS THE YEAR OF THE GAME BUT WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD FOR 2002? CAN THE GAME STAY AT THE SAME LEVEL, OR WILL THE COMPETITION FIND A WAY TO MAKE IT GAME OVER?

MATCH OF THE YEAR
1. Tazz vs. Drew Blood vs. Rhyno This was the 2 Fall Triple Threat that took place at the Survivor Series for both the IC and European titles and made Rhyno the first double champion in TWF history. Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H Perhaps one of the best matches in TWF history, these 2 met in a 2 out of 3 falls war at Foul Play. House of Horror After the wheel landed on "Wrestlers Choice" in the Spin the Wheel, make the deal spinoff, Jordan Rockwell selected this match under very unique rules. But Drew Blood proved he was up to the task, beating Rockwell at his own game at Welcome to our Yard. Steve Corino vs. Jeff Hardy This match took place at Royal Rumble 2001 and was a pure wrestling fans delight. These two had one of the more entertaining matches on record.
