THE TWF LIVEWIRE INN IS SHOWN FROM THE OUTSIDE AND CAMERAS MOVE IN TO SHOW SEVERAL HUNDRED SCREAMING FANS IN TWF REGALIA. INSIDE THE THEME RESTAURANT, A PODIUM IS SET UP ON THE STAGE IN FRONT OF A BLACK CURTAIN THAT CONTAINS THE TWF LOGO. TO THE RIGHT OF THE STAGE, MEAN GENE OKERLUND AND THE HONKY TONK MAN ARE POSITIONED.
Mean Gene: "Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the fourth annual TWF awards show. Tonight Honky, we will relive the year of 2003 and congratulate those superstars that excelled in and out of the ring".
Honky Tonk Man: "I've seen several superstars show up tonight and a few people that may surprise you.... I'm just wondering how many awards I'm nominated for"!
Okerlund: "Well let's see, by last count, you were at none".
CIVIL RIGHTS' THEME HITS AND TEDDY LONG COMES OUT WEARING A PURPLE SUIT.
Teddy Long: "Ya know, when I was asked to come here tonight and present the Comeback wrestler of the year award, I gotta say, I didn't wanna do it because I knew it would be a white boy who won the award. Now even though no one has made a comeback like the black man, the TWF offered me a good amount of money to do this and in the end, the only color that matters is green, ya feel me?!
A VIDEO SCREEN SHOWS CLIPS OF ALL THE NOMINEES AND A VOICE RUNS THEM DOWN.
Animal- Overcame the loss of his best friend and tag team partner to eliminate 3 men at Deadly Games.
Essa Rios- After being sent down to SMW, worked his way back to the main roster on PrimeTime and continues to be a force in the Lighteavyweight division.
Kurt Angle- With a win-loss record of 13-45 during his first tour of duty in the TWF that included a loss to a basketball player, the Olympic gold medalist returned with a vengeance, defeating everyone in his path.
Chuck Palumbo/Shawn Stasiak: After going virtually unnoticed for much of their TWF career, these two combined to take it to a new level in 2003, winning the RAW tag team titles and having a successful run as champs.
Long: "Look at that, like I said, white boy.... Kurt Angle".
KURT ANGLE's MUSIC PLAYS AND HE COMES OUT TO A HUGE POP AND ACCEPTS THE TROPHY WHICH IS A GOLDEN TWF LOGO INSIDE A WRESTLING RING.
Kurt Angle: "Thank you... I appreciate it. Ya know, it was a long road back but it was well worth it and now I know, that no matter what happens, I will always have you people in my corner"!
THE CROWD POPS AGAIN
Long: "If I may interrupt Angle, even though you and I don't see eye to eye, you could change things between us if you make the right decision on RAW with your decision as Enforcer. See, my choice is of course a black man. But to be honest, he would be.....
Angle: "Shut up Teddy Long! I've made my decision alright and I've picked a man that will be fair... unless you cross him. And now that I think about it, you and your boys already have. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a celebration to get to..... wooo"!
Okerlund: "Kurt Angle has worked so hard to get back Honky, does he deserve this award"?
HTM: "I guess he does but if I were him, I wouldn't necessarily be proud of it. I mean, the Honky Tonk Man was always at the top, whether it be wrestling or performing so I really can't relate to him right now".
Okerlund: "Yeah, but you never won Olympic gold either".
THE OKLAHOMA FIGHT SONG HITS AND JIM ROSS COMES OUT TO A GREAT REACTION WITH AN ENVELOPE IN HAND.
Jim Ross: "Thank you folks. I'm very honored to be out here tonight to present the TWF's Rookie of the year award. This year, we had a tremendous crop of new talent and we expect that to be improved in 2004, if that's possible. Now I don't mean to be short here, but my Sooners are playing LSU in the Sugar Bowl as we speak.... so here are the nominees".
Shane Thompson- After developing his skills in SMW, Thompson came to PrimeTime. Although he had a slow start, he got on a winning streak TWF fans won't soon forget that led to becoming Lightheavyweight champ. Spawn- Spawn may be one of the most physically dominating superstars the TWF has ever seen. He and a former Women's champion combined to form the "Reign of Darkness" which wreaked havoc on RAW. Not only that, but Spawn was able to knock off Kevin Nash in a PPV match. La Resistance- Bringing their anti-American views with them, no tag team has ever had a quicker impact than that of Rene Dupree and Sylvan Grenier. They are the current RAW tag team champs. Charlie Haas- A amatuer standout at Seton Hall, Haas battled through the death of his brother to get to the TWF. Nearly becoming the Intercontinental champion after aligning himself with Ted Dibiase, the sky may be the limit for Haas in 2004. J.R.: "And the winner...... boy I wish we had this youngster on RAW..... Shane Thompson"! I've just been informed that Shane is not here tonight because he doesn't feel he needs to give any of us a speech. How nice". Okerlund: "Yeah, real nice and J.R., your Sooners just scored to tie it at seven". HTM: "Well you may not appreciate the fact that Thompson didn't come tonight Mean Gene, but he does deserve the Rookie of the year award". Okerlund: "Don't go away.... Jerry Lawler will present Women's wrestler of the year and it's next"! COMMERCIAL BREAK..... A COMMERCIAL FOR GATORADE WITH L.L. COOL J IS SHOWN. RETURN FROM BREAK.... Okerlund: "Welcome back to the Livewire Inn folks and Honky, two awards have been handed out and now we're ready to announce the best female in the TWF for 2003". HTM: "That's all fine and dandy with me, until Jerry Lawler gets out here that is". Okerlund: "Let's just take a look at those nominees". Jessica Lopez: "Continued to be one of the most impressive female athletes the TWF has ever seen, again becoming Women's champ. Victoria: "Outside of leading the Basham Brothers up the RAW tag team ladder, she also won Women's gold at WrestleMania. Gail Kim: "After one of the most hyped debuts for a female ever, Gail Kim lived up to the "female version of Rey Mysterio" billing and won the Women's title. Alex Miran: Probably the most impressive first year the TWF has ever witnessed for a female, Alex won her first eight singles matches en route to becoming champion shortly after signing her contract. JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A WARM RESPONSE IN HIS USUAL ROYAL ATTIRE. Jerry Lawler: "Well first things first guys, you all know how much I love women so being here to present this award tonight is extra special. But Honky Tonk Man, I've been sitting in the back listening to you run your mouth all night so if you want some of the King.... just let me know". HTM: "Apparently he forgot what happened at Widespread Panic Mean Gene". Lawler: "Now, let's get to that envelope. (he opens it up) This is really no surprise guys because I can assure you, she'll be the favorite to win it next year too. Alex Miran"! "GET THE PARTY STARTED" BY PINK HITS AND ALEX COMES UP ON STAGE AND GETS THE TROPHY BEFORE GIVING LAWLER A KISS ON THE CHEEK WHICH GAVE HIM A HUGE SMILE ON HIS FACE. Okerlund: "From what I understand, this was a landslide Honky". Alex Miran: "Let me start by saying thank you to everyone who voted for me! No there's no doubt that this award rocks, but my mission is not complete until I get Gail Kim back in that ring and get that Women's title back where it belongs! Thank you"! "GET THE PARTY STARTED" HIT AGAIN AND ALEX LEFT TO A BIG POP. THE HARVARD FIGHT SONG PLAYS AND CHRISTOPHER NOWINSKI COMES OUT WITH THE GENIUS WHO IS IN HIS USUAL CAP AND GOWN. HTM: "Finally... some intelligence". Okerlund: "These two jokers are out here to present tag team of the year". Christopher Nowinski: "The Genius and I were asked to come here tonight in front of all you people to present the tag team of the year. Now, naturally you all know that the team with the highest combined IQ in the TWF is myself and The Genius here". The Genius: "But what we would like to do is conduct a session of Extra Credit with whomever wins this award. So let's get to those nominees". La Resistance: The French duo irritated fans all over the world but became RAW tag team champs in their rookie year. Shawn Stasiak & Chuck Palumbo: This team went from relative obscurity to win the RAW tag team belts and go on to a long reign. Chris Tirpak & Bradshaw: Easily one of the most impressive tag team title reigns in TWF history, these guys formed a powerful team that defended the titles against anyone, including a very impressive win at WrestleMania. Chris Benoit & Dylan Jansens: These two members of the 4 Elements provided the perfect compliment to the other and they were the duo that finally ended the reign of Tirpak & Bradshaw. Nowinski: "And the winners..... Chris Tirpak amd Bradshaw". HTM: "That's gotta be the team with the lowest IQ up there"! "TNT" BY AC/DC HITS AND TIRPAK AND BRADSHAW COME UP ON STAGE. Genius: "Hold it there guys. Now before you try and get hostile with Christopher and I, we just have a few questions we'd like to ask". Nowinski: "Welcome to Extra Credit boys. Now I know you work for TWF PrimeTime and Shane McMahon and you might not be familiar with my show... but it goes like this. I ask..... Chris Tirpak: "I watch RAW every week Nowinski and Bradshaw and I are not the ones to mess with! Now if you appreciate that brain you have in your head, I suggest you close your mouth before I knock it out all over this stage"! TIRPAK AND BRADSHAW TURN TO LEAVE AND NOWINSKI TRIES TO HIT TIRPAK FROM BEHIND BUT BRADSHAW NOTICED HIM AND KICKED HIM RIGHT IN THE FACE. THE GENIUS THEN JUMPED ON BRADSHAW's BACK BUT BRADSHAW FLUNG HIM OVER HIS HEAD TO THE FLOOR AND TIRPAK PICKED HIM UP AND SLUNG HIM THROUGH THE CURTAIN INTO THE BACKSTAGE AREA. "TNT" HIT AGAIN AND THE CROWD POPPED AS LOUD AS THEY HAD ALL NIGHT. Okerlund: "Wow! That might be the most memorable edition of Extra Credit ever"! HTM: "I hope security ejects those two Mean Gene! That was totally and completely uncalled for"! BACKSTAGE...... Johnathan Coachman: "Great show so far fans and right now, I am standing with the Comeback wrestler of the year, Kurt Angle. First of all Kurt, how does it feel to win this award"? Kurt Angle: "Well Coach, it's great to see that my comeback was recognized and that I can finally put my first stint here in the TWF behind me. But next year, I wanna be standing here with a different award and that is TWF Wrestler of the year"! Coachman: "Okay, now this week on RAW, you are scheduled to announce the person you have selected as the next Enforcer of RAW. Any chance we can get that announcement tonight"? Angle: "Well Coach, anyone who knows me will tell you that I don't like to ruin surprises so no, you'll have to wait till RAW for that. But I will say that it is a person not too many guys are gonna wanna try and defy". Coachman: "Okay, that's the word from Kurt Angle, the 2003 Comeback Wrestler of the year"! COMMERCIAL BREAK...... A COMMERCIAL FOR STACKER 2 YJ STINGER IS SHOWN. RETURN FROM BREAK.... Voice of the show: "Welcome back to the fourth annual TWF Awards show. Now let's take a look at some other winners from the past year". Match of the Year: Toughman Gauntlet Match @Evil Intentions: Austin Pyromania survived four brutal matches to become TWF Toughman champion. Fued of the Year: High Octane-Triple H: This battle consumed RAW for much of the latter part of 2003 while Triple H was Enforcer. But when a match was finally made, High Octane got the best of him to become #1 contender for the World title. Most Entertaining Storyline: Triple H as RAW Enforcer- William Regal duped us all after defeating Shawn Michaels for the Enforcer spot on RAW, only to hand it over to Triple H immediately following. Triple H then brought his own brand of rules to his ex-wife's division of the TWF. Moment of the Year: Animal's Deadly Games performance- With the death of his longtime friend and tag team partner Hawk still weighing heavily on his heart, Animal 3 men all by himself to become the sole survivor. What followed was an emotional and heartfelt celebration. AS THE SHOW RETURNS TO LIVE ACTION, "RAP SUPERSTAR", THE THEME SONG OF PRIMETIME PLAYS AND MICHAEL COLE COMES OUT WITH A BOA WEARING JESSE VENTURA. Okerlund: "Welcome back fans and here comes the voices of PrimeTime"! HTM: "I'm definitely not a Michael Cole fan but Jesse Ventura is definitely worth tuning into PrimeTime for". Michael Cole: "My partner and I have been asked to come here tonight and present the Lightheavyweight of the year award"! Jesse Ventura: "Sorry RAW, but your stuff will never be as good as ours because we have this division. Now onto the nominees". Jamie Noble: After becoming the first Mf'er, Noble used Matt Hardy's guidance to go straight to the top of the Lightheavyweight division, becoming the champion. Shane Thompson: Knocked off Jamie Noble to become Lightheavyweight champion but also went outside the division to win the first ever Straight Jacket match along with a huge upset victory over Jordan Rockwell. Carney: Became Lightheavyweight champion for a second time in his career and outwrestled fellow 4 Elements member Rey Mysterio in a great PPV match. Rey Mysterio: "Although he's never held the Lightheavyweight championship, Mysterio is easily one of the biggest fan favorites in the TWF and is a threat to any title there is. Cole: "You want the honors Jesse"? Ventura: "Why the hell not Cole? Your winner is Shane Thompson, his second tonight"! Cole: "And like J.R. mentioned earlier, Shane is not here to accept this award tonight but like him or not Jesse, he earned it". Ventura: "Oh I do like him and another thing J.R. mentioned earlier is that he wishes Shane was part of RAW. Sorry J.R., it ain't gonna happen". BACKSTAGE.... Idalis: "Hey this is Idalis and I am here right now with Travis Wakeman. Now Travis, bad luck in the Elimination Chamber match at War in the Winter but tonight, you are nominated for Wrestler of the Year, an award you have won before. What would it mean to win it again"? Travis Wakeman: "Well obviously it would mean a lot to me. Obviously no one has ever won the award twice so it would help me go down..... Voice: "Go down as what brother? JUST THEN, HULK HOGAN ENTERS THE PICTURE TO A HUGE POP. Hulk Hogan: "Let me tell you something dude, I would've won that award at least ten times if we had a show like this back in my hayday". Wakeman: "Well I hate to say this Hulk, but there was a lot of things they didn't have a hundred years ago". Hogan: "Are you trying to tell me something brother? Because if it were up to me, I'd invite you to show up on RAW so you could see what the largest arms in the world are all about dude"! Wakeman: "Yeah, I'm sure you would. But I got some things to do before they present the Wrestler of the year so maybe I'll see ya around..... brother". WAKEMAN WALKS AWAY AND HOGAN JUST LOOKS ON. Okerlund: "That was definitely interesting". HTM: "Hogan probably is about a hundred years old Gene". Okerlund: "Up next is the show of the year and I am interested to see which show, RAW or PrimeTime is gonna take this one". "NO CHANCE" HITS AND VINCE McMAHON COMES OUT WITH A TROPHY THAT CONTAINS A TELEVISION WITH THE TWF LOGO ATOP IT. Vince McMahon: "I know some of you out there may be surprised to see me here tonight. But fact is, this is still my company. So tonight, I am here to present the award for the most entertaining show, RAW or PrimeTime. Fortunately for me, I will present this award to one of my kids. But first, let's look at those two shows". HIGHLIGHTS ARE SHOWN FROM BOTH RAW AND PRIMETIME FROM THE PAST YEAR IN A 5 MINUTE VIDEO CLOP. Vince: "And the winner is...... Stephanie McMahon's RAW"! "ALL GROWN UP" HITS AND STEPHANIE GETS UP WEARING A SPARKLING BLACK DRESS AS THE CAMERA GETS A SHOT OF SHANE McMAHON WHO LOOKS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED. Stephanie McMahon: "Thank you Dad and thank you to all you TWF fans out there that voted for TWF RAW! Now we've maintained we have the better talent and the better overall product since the roster split and this trophy proves that. So Shane, better luck next year I guess". "ALL GROWN UP" HITS AGAIN AND STEPHANIE LEAVES TO A GOOD REACTION. COMMERCIAL BREAK...... A COMMERCIAL FOR MOUNTAIN DEW IS SHOWN RETURN FROM BREAK.... Voice of the show: "Welcome back to the fourth annual TWF awards show and now, the Lifetime acheivement award". Alright guys, on an off note here, I am again going to give my lifetime acheivement award to a member this year and this time, it is Cory Rodriguez, a.k.a. Kid Gundam. Cory was the first member I ever had after I ran the TWF online for 2 months with zero members. He has been in the TWF since August 2000 and has always stayed involved with his character. He always contacts me if he gets a good idea and has sent me the stats to create his superstar on the video games. Cory has also signed 2 contract extensions with me, showing he likes and appreciates the TWF product. Thank you Cory for being a model member, you're welcome in the TWF as long as you want to be a part of it. ON THE STAGE, VINCE McMAHON IS STILL AT THE PODIUM. Vince: "Now the next order of business is this year's Hall of Fame. Out of the four names on this year's ballot, only one gained entry into the Hall. Now, some of these guys may be on the ballot again in the future. So without further adieu, this year's Hall of Fame inductee is Michael Hegstrand or to all of you fans, Road Warrior Hawk! So Animal, why don't you come accept this award for Hawk"! "AH WHAT A RUSH" IS HEARD AND THE ROAD WARRIORS MUSIC HITS AND THE FANS IN ATTENDANCE COME TO THEIR FEET AS ANIMAL MAKES HIS WAY TO THE STAGE AND GRABS THE AWARD. Animal: "Thank you to everyone who voted for Hawk, I know he is looking down on us with a huge smile on his face right now. My only goal will be to join him in the Hall someday so that the greatest tag team that ever lived that live on together forever"! Okerlund: "What a moment this is Honky, that's just great"! HTM: "I gotta show my respect Gene, whether I had differences with these guys or not". OKERLUND AND THE HONKY TONK MAN GET UP AND CLAP AS WELL AS THE ROAD WARRIORS MUSIC PLAYS AGAIN AND ANIMAL GOES BACKSTAGE. JUST THEN, THE SOUND OF BREAKING GLASS IS HEARD AND "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN COMES OUT TO A HUGE POP, THE BIGGEST ALL NIGHT. Stone Cold: "Let's hear it one more time for Hawk! THE FANS CHEER SOME MORE Now, I'm out here to present this year's Wrestler of the year and there are some pretty big names up for nomination so let's check 'em out. The Undertaker: The current TWF World champion has run roughshod on RAW and seemingly erased any contention to his title. The question is now becoming not when will he lose the title, but if. Travis Wakeman: Perhaps PrimeTime's biggest star, Wakeman had some of the best matches this year and was able to take the Universal title away from Brock Lesnar, just one of his many big wins in 2003. Strife: The one man who was able to defeat the deadman did so at WrestleMania and went on to have nearly a half a year reign as champ. Brock Lesnar: Arguably the most dominating superstar in TWF history, Lesnar had an unbelievable 2003 that included handing Travis Wakeman his first ever loss at WrestleMania. He then capped the year off by winning the Universal title in the first ever Elimination Chamber match at War in the Winter. Stone Cold: (opening the envelope) "Somebody toss me a beer. AUSTIN CATCHES A BEER THAT A STAGEHAND THROWS TO HIM, OPENS IT AND TAKES A SIP. And the winner is, Brock Lesnar"! BROCK LESNAR's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES UP TO THE STAGE TO A MIXED RESPONSE. Okerlund: "Folks we were just told that this was the closest vote in TWF Award history"! HTM: "Well the right guy won it". Brock Lesnar: "Ya know, this is a great honor to be standing before you as TWF Wrestler of the year. But what makes it even more special is to know that Steve Austin right here has never won this award"! Stone Cold: "Whoa, whoa, there's no need to take shots at me during your speech boy. Start thanking everyone that helped you get here"! Lesnar: "I don't think so Austin. No one helped me get here. But everywhere I go, all anyone wants to talk about is how good you were. Well, you never won this award and you never won the Universal title. So if you want me to thank someone, let me thank you for being the loser some of us can see that you were"! LESNAR TURNS TO WALK AWAY LAUGHING BUT AUSTIN CRACKS HIM OVER THE HEAD WITH HIS BEER CAN. LESNAR TURNS AROUND WITH A RIGHT HAND AND THE TWO BEGAN TO EXCHANGE SHOTS.
