THE RETURN OF A SUPERSTAR, POSSIBLY THE END FOR ANOTHER AND THE EMERGENCE OF A NEW FORCE IN THE TAG TEAM DIVISION

TWF CORRESPONDENT IDALIS REPORTING

THE RETURN OF CHRIS MICHAELS

As many of you may already know, former TWF superstar Chris Michaels has agreed to a 3 year contract with the TWF. As the younger brother of legendary superstar Shawn Michaels, he came to the TWF looking to step out of his brother's shadow in mid 2001. But after a terrific match at King of the Ring last year, he fell a little short. The superkick still flashes through Michaels' mind.

Chris Michaels: "I thought it was my night. I was so close to beating him and my superkick has always been more devastating. It was a tremendous match and made me respect my brother a lot more.

After a failed attempt at forming a top tag team with Shawn Stasiak, Michaels was released from his contract. It has been rumored that he spent some time in jail but at least righht now, that is a subject that Chris is not talking about. His return to the TWF opened many eyes however.

Chris: "Jim Ross called me and said Vince wanted to talk to me regarding my old job. At first I was hesistant, but I need the adrenaline rush this business provides.

Nonethless, Chris is driven to be the best this time and wants this to be a success. The injury to his brother has brought him to be a more caring person.

Chris: "I can't say that I really care about my brother because of our history. I do respect him and hope for the best in his recovery efforts. But this is finally my time to shine and I'm gonna make the most of it.

With his learning experiences over the past year, you might have to consider him to be a major player here in the TWF.

NOTE: Chris Michaels will participate on the PrimeTime roster.

AHMED WALKER, IS HE DONE?

"I just heard the snap of the bone and I was like, oh my god, what happened"?

That is the voice of Ahmed Walker talking about what happened just weeks ago when Scott Steiner took him out in a Providence Street Fight. After visiting a surgeon in Sacramento, California, it was determined that not only did Ahmed have a fractured elbow and a seperated shoulder, but a severe case of nerve damage unrelated to the attack. The surgeon said if it worsens, Ahmed could lose control of his upper extremities.

Walker: "I love this business, I love the TWF and I don't wanna leave right now".

As a bat weilding maniac, Walker entered the TWF almost 2 years ago looking for revenge against Chris Jericho for an incident several years earlier with a smaller company in which Walker's career was thought to be over as well.

Walker: "This is hard to compare to that because that was under my own control, this isn't and that's what makes it hard".

The nerve damage is due to a long term pattern of physical abuse taken by Walker. But as a former TWF Hardcore champion, if anyone can overcome it, it's him".

Walker: "I've been wrestling for 11 years and I never thought of something like this happening. (fighting back tears) If this is the end, I thank all my fans for their support. I do have many other interests and avenues I could take, but I wanna see you in that ring, at least one more time".

Truly a heartwrenching story and are thoughts are with Ahmed through this tough time.

SMW SPOTLIGHT: THE ISLAND BOYS

Rumors have been circulating about Ekmo and Kimo joining the ranks of the TWF tag team division very soon. Both over 350 pounds, these two can move like they weigh half that. Nephews of former TWF superstar Rikishi, wrestling is in their blood. Though they haven't wrestled a lot in SMW, these two have compiled a tremendous win-loss record around the world. They are anxious to get to the big time and when they do, look out.

NEXT SMW SPOTLIGHT: Spencer Hollywood
