Cover Story
Wedding bells are ringing in the future of the TWF, as the first couple in
the TWF is settling down hopefully and in this reporter's opinion it’s about
damn time. Every year I see Trish and Travis just wait and wait and wait and
I was about to jump up there my self and get King T to ask her to marry him.
Instead with a Moon Sault off the cage to defend her man, Stratus, after the
match had been won, asked Travis Wakeman to marry her. While Travis didn’t
know what to say he nodded his head yes meaning in the near future we shall
see Travis Wakeman and Trish Stratus get hitched. While I cannot speak for
most of us I speak for the majority when I say broad cast it baby, after all
the dedication to you we deserve to see the wedding. But to Travis Wakeman
do this right please, best man, real ceremony, don’t do those gimmick weddings
we see on the WWE. As a reporter it is my job to bring you the how’s and
now’s of the TWF and this is the biggest statement and could have the
biggest impact in the TWF since Jordan Rockwell got hit by a car. I have
taken fan ideas if this is a good idea or a bad idea it shouldn’t matter because Travis and Trish are obviously in
love.
One fans says this.... "It sucks, I want Trish cause she’s so hot".
Other fans have a difference of opinion: "Well as a fan, I've seen this in
the cards for a really long time. I mean they are just really good together.
And I am happy to see that they finally are ready to move to that level".
A wrestler says this about it: "I don't think it is a good idea for Travis.
He is just starting to get his career back on track, and it didn't take long
for their relationship to get in the way. If he does decide to marry Trish
that will become a weakness. A weakness that easily could be exploited. And
at the worst possible times as well".
Fantasy Match
This is a new part of the corner I'd like to call fantasy match. It takes
superstars that have never faced each other and puts them in a match with 5
TWF superstars of random choice deciding the out come. This week it is
Triple H vs. “The Show” Joe Corey.
Triple h has become a household name in the past 5 years. He is an amazing
superstar like no other and has gone on to win the TWF title 4 times.
People want the kind of life in wrestling that HHH has. He has so many
painful moves in his arsenal that would make a grown man scream for his mom.
When you come to the TWF, few make a quick impact. Even fewer have the rookie year
Joe Corey did and even fewer can say they beat the best in the business on a
regular basis. But that’s what Corey's done. He is a master technician but can
take it in a brawl with anyone. He held the King of Cable title for almost a
year.
Jordan Rockwell: "Since I have faced both of these guys and in big match
environments, I think this would be a great match to see, Triple H would get
his nose smashed into a billion pieces and we'd all die from the bloodflow
after getting hit by old iron head Corey. Seriously though, this would be a
wrestling fans dream due to the fact both men are accomplished wrestlers and
then it would turn into who could out cheat who so it would then be any
extreme wrestling fans dream. But in the end it comes down to the Pedigree
and the Showstopper and since Corey always seems to come out ahead in the
end I say Joe Corey over Triple H".
Axl Irvin: "This is tough, they both have done so much in their TWF careers,
look at how Joe wins his matches and how HHH won his a few years ago. There
is a little bit of diversity but not much. While Corey has had the best
rookie year in the TWF to date, HHH is the very best besides me of
course but he was given the nickname The Game for a reason, so I say HHH".
Rob Storm: "It would be a tough match, one for the ages. In the end I think
Corey would win, assuming neither gets help from their allies. HHH has held
the TWF title but Corey is a rising blue chipper just like myself and HHH is
just not good enough to beat The Show.
Rick Clark: "HHH would win over Joe Corey easily. Joe gets help in almost
every match in order to win. HHH won the tag titles by himself and is a
4 time champ. Corey’s not even a 1 time world champ yet".
Travis Wakeman: "I think Triple H can beat anyone. I think he's about as good
as it gets, but Corey definitely has the ability to be that good someday. Triple H is the pick.... for now".
There you have it folks the dream match between Triple H and Joe "The Show"
Corey has ended with HHH getting the 1- 2- 3. We will see you next time on
Fantasy Match.
The Back Track
This is new to the SuperStar Corner, it's called The Back track. I analyze
the life of TWF superstars before they came to the TWF.
The Early Years......
Axl Irvin was born in Chicago, Illinois. Growing up in the city, Axl loved two
things, wrestling and sports. Like any wrestling fan in the early 80's, Axl
loved Hulk Hogan. Anytime Hulk was in Chicago he went to see him perform.
Growing up though he had never thought of wrestling being a profession. His
other passion, sports, could be a future as he was one of the top
players in the Chicago area for football and baseball. He started at pitcher
and QB at Saint Shamrock’s high school. Having a cannon for an arm, he
was offered a full ride scholarship to the University of Northwestern right
by Chicago. All signs pointed to him signing but he passed up his dream to
one day play for his favorite teams the Chicago White Sox or Green Bay
Packers and elected not to even go to college. He wanted to pursue his first
real passion and that was to become a professional Wrester. He was heavily criticized by
his family and friends for choosing not to play sports.
Wrestling.......
Axl Decided to move to Japan and pursue his dream from the lack of support
in the US. It took him almost 6 months to even get a tryout in the ring and
the scouts were very impressed with his size, strength and athleticism. But
without any training, no one attempted to sign him except for
the RJW. (Real Japanese Wrestling) But days after they signed him, the RJW sent
him to America to work on his ring skills. He went to Rocky Anderson's
school of wrestling in Los Angeles, California and he learned quickly and
became a real blue chipper. Getting offers from some Mid Major wrestling feds,
he decided to honor his contract and went back to Japan. He learned Quickly
and rised in the ranks very fast even getting to be in a tag match with
Terry Funk. His claim to fame in RJW was defeating Mike Awesome for the RJW
2nd Tier Belt at one of RJW's biggest events. His career was going great,
making decent money ,when a call from home changed his life. He had gotten
word that his sister had been injured in a car accident after being hit by a
drunk driver. Axl Immediately talked to the RJW owner and tried to opt out of the rest
of his contract and the owner said yes but wanted one more match so he could
give up the 2nd Tier Title. After he lost he flew back to Chicago. When Axl
flew back he had found out his sister was diagnosed with Chiarimalformation
Syringomyelea, a potential fatal disease that is caused by Whiplash. After
successful surgeries, a spinal tap and a metal plate in his sisters head,
the doctors said she was going to suffer from this disease for the rest of
her life but it wouldn't be fatal. He almost gave up his dream of wrestling when
his sister’s wish was he go back into it. He did but this time decided to
wrestle in the US. He wrestled all over form New York to LA before deciding to go
to college in Springfield, Illinois, putting his career on hold. But
after one year he realized he wanted to do this for the rest of his life.
So he got into some INDY feds in the US. He was noticed by the Company ACW and
signed a deal there and was there for a short while, winning the United States
title. The company closed shortly after. After getting back to the indies, he
was noticed by TWF scouts in September of 2003 and signed a deal shortly after.
He went to SMW for a short stint and only had one loss and become the Future of
Wrestling champ before being called to PrimeTime in early January of 2004. Since
then he has won the Hardcore title, the first ever Dragons Lair match and
doesn't plan on stopping any time soon. He has a great relationship with his
manager and real life girlfriend Traci Brooks. Axl Irvin is living his dream
now and is having good success in the business, and doesn't doubt that he
made the right choice.
Hot Seat
The shot opens inside the TWF studio where Jordan Rockwell is shown sitting
in a chair across from Michael Cole...
Cole: "I’m here with Jordan Rockwell for the TWF superstar corner's Hot Seat
segment, let's begin shall we"?
Rockwell: "Why yes Michael let's".
Cole: Okay, the first part of this will be word association where I say the
name of a TWF superstar and you say the first thing you can think of".
Rockwell: "Sweet".
Cole: "Sean O'Haire".
Rockwell: "Most improved wrestler in the TWF".
Cole: "Travis Wakeman".
Rockwell: "Genius".
Cole: "Undertaker".
Rockwell: "My ultimate goal to be like".
Cole: "Money Mike".
Rockwell: "A really good wrestler and yet a whole lot lucky at the same time".
Cole: "Nails".
Rockwell starts laughing...
Rockwell: "Oh my god! I’ll just say a tough guy and leave it at that".
Cole: "Okay next is the true or false portion of the Hot Seat".
Rockwell: "Okay let's hear it".
Cole: "True or false. you have talked to Chaos wolf about forming a tag team
partnership"?
Rockwell: "That is a bit of both because that subject did come up but it was
Wolf that actually brought that up".
Cole: "True or false, you formed this New Breed to protect yourself"?
Rockwell: "that is one hundred percent false. This version of the New Breed
was formed because Dylan Jansens is a close friend of mine and he
approached me about doing the group again, and secondly to help mentor Wolf!
Since he is a rookie and myself along with DJ and Vlad all new how rookies
got treated".
Cole: "true or false, you think the Horsemen will fail"?
Rockwell: "I know a lot of people think I will say that is true but like
before I am on the fence because Corey and Mike have mainly been singles
guys their whole careers and let's face fact, neither of them is used to doing
things for anyone other than themselves so I think it will be tough. But on
the other hand I think Mike will be a great influence on Corey since they
have a lot in common, and lastly I also think it's just another way for
Corey to be held back since I think he should have been TWF champion a while
ago so I guess only time will tell if they will make it or not".
Cole: "True or false, you hope to rejuvenate the hardcore division"?
Rockwell: "True! Even before Payback and the match with Nails I had several
meetings, conference calls and such with Vince McMahon himself along
with Shane'o as well, coming up with ideas on how to make this division
better and now after Payback as Hardcore champion it's gone on for a bit
longer and we've come up with things I think will help the division and that
fans will love".
Cole: "Now it is time for the last part of this where I ask you some random
questions".
Rockwell: "Okay".
Cole: "What do you plan to do with the rest of your TWF life"?
Rockwell: "I plan on continuing to do my part to make this company the
greatest to ever exist for as long as god and my body will allow".
Cole: "Who is your biggest rival in the TWF"?
Rockwell: "That is simple! It is and I think always will be Drew Blood simply
because in the begining we battled for the top spot as rookies and then
again as veterans so I think Drew and I will always be rivals no matter what
the reason".
Cole: "Which fued have you enjoyed the most"?
Rockwell: "I am not sure if this was so much a fued but the time I spent
going against Stone Cold Steve Austin was a great experience for me since he
was as much a role model for me as say the Undertaker was. I always had a
strong work ethic but from watching and later being around him, Austin helped
me appreciate working hard a lot more than I ever did prior to joing the
TWF".
Cole: "Sean O'Haire: Great wrestler or crazy as a loon"?
Rockwell: "Great wrestler who is crazy as a loon. Fact is Sean was always a
great performer, he just never got the time or chance to shine before but
this Sean O'Haire you see today is a success simply because he was given the
chance to show what he could do and he took full advantage of the chance he
was given".
Cole: "Jordan Rockwell you are now out of the Hot Seat".
