NEW POWERS IN THE TWF
In the TWF lately, we have had a huge increase of new powers, people that can
become the next Jordan Rockwell, Drew Blood, Travis Wakeman and even Ric
Flairs. What follows is my list and reason why the TWF has hit the best period
of their young existence. (In no particular order)
Jason Oliver: Jason has become maybe the best prospect in the TWF at the
moment. He is one of the hottest stars on Rampage and part of the most influential group at the moment (The Horsemen) and has also won the Tag
Titles and has won those titles the quickest in the TWF's history after debuting. He is certain
to be a big player in the TWF for years to come. His biggest concern is probably his
not being able to think on his feet very well.
Matt Cruz: He is the youngest title winner of all time. (beating Jason Oliver
out by about a month or two) His amateur background helps him out in areas
that many TWF super stars can't deal with. Many critics have been silenced by
this young superstar and have said he looks like a young Kurt Angle. The
only thing I see pushing him back is his temper.
Max Ogden: This kid reminds me of a younger Dylan Jansens in terms of talent, he has
the same great mat skills but is a lot more explosive. Max has wowed me
since coming to the TWF and he is the longest reigning SMW champion. Only thing
I think might hinder him is his size though he quickly makes up for it in
talent.
Mackenzie Rose: 87. That’s all you need to say about Rose and you know he can
and will be an amazing superstar. His ego I think will be his biggest downfall.
Chris Platoon: The most complete package I've seen in a long time. He can fight,
wrestle, fly and do just about everything that comes to mind. But what would you
expect from someone trained by Triple H, Ric Flair and HBK? His biggest weakness is trusting of others.
The love of Hatred
Everyone knows that there have been people that you just love to despize.
People that you throw your garbage at, people that if you saw on the street
you would punch in their mouth. But who is the most hated person in all of TWF history? Well I'll give you 5 people to choose from.
Nails: In my mind the king of evil, from starting the Gates of Hell to stealing Nemesis' girlfriend to costing Rockwell his championship shot, this guy
is the king of mean no doubt and gets my vote right away.
Drew Blood: Top heel in the game today, someone very few people can beat and
someone that redefined mind games.
Triple H: He has the name Cerebral Assasin for a reason. He did some evil stuff
and made High Octane’s life a living hell.
Travis Wakeman: Back in 2002, he was the man with the plan to take over
Primetime and he actually succeeded at it for awhile. He is a mastermind so before you write Wakeman off as just a Technical genius,
realize he has a black heart.
Aries: Anti-America, need I say more??
TWF Turn Back The Clock
MELTDOWN 2003
2003 Produced many great things and MeltDown was maybe the best of them. The
card had Travis Wakeman vs. Chris Daniels, High Octane vs. Shawn
Michaels and a lot of other good matches. Let's Turn back the clock and find
out what it was like.
The event started out with a LightHeavyWeight title match and it turned
out to be a classic between 2 of the 4 elements Carney vs. Rey Mysterio.
These two men knew each others moves off by heart and actually that’s what
it came down to a counter that almost took Rey Rey's head off. “Stone Cold”
Steve Austin Silenced Ron “The Truth” Killings after a sharp elbow into
a perfect Stone Cold Stunner. Many people think this was actually the time
Civil Rights ended. The next match actually had a rematch on Rampage and
Code Red in 2005 and these two would actually be a tag team in the future
capturing the tag titles the next year. It was a match between John Cena and
Austin Pryomania. This match ended with some controversy as A-Train helped Cena
win by giving Pryo a Train Wreck while John ascended the ladder and grabbed
the King of Cable belt. The next match was a doozy as The FBI went up
against Jordan Rockwell, Ultimo Dragon and Rhyno in a 6 man elimination
match. After a punishing match where Frankie Kazarian was the first man out, "Mr.
Showtime's" team came out ahead. The next match was maybe the best pure
wrestling match ever, Travis Wakeman vs. Christopher Daniels. The match went
on for 15:24 and it brought the house down. King T came out on top in this
match but the fued was far from done. Shawn Michaels Vs. Damion West was a
spectacular match. Shawn eventually won but it was a hard fought match with
HBK kicking out of the Octane splash and the Head on Collision just to win
it with the Sweat Chin Music out of nowhere. The next match was a title vs.
title vs. title as it saw Chris Benoit and Dylan Jansens vs. Bradshaw and Chris
Tirpak vs. Batista and Brock Lesnar, if say Chris Benoit got the pin on
Brock Lesnar, Chris would gain the Universal title. As luck would have it Lesnar ducked a big Texan's weak ass finisher and hit him with the "F5" to gain
all 4 titles for his group, a feet yet to be topped.
Power 25
I loved this idea from WWE so I took it and I'm going to use it from now on so expect it
to be in every SuperStar Corner.
1. "High Octane" Damion West - He Superkicked the shit out of Drew Blood on
Rampage... Plus he's the #1 Contender for the World Title thanks to beating
both HBK and Mysterio... Does it get any better? Well yes it does cause he
beat Drew blood to become World champion, the lightest and shortest ever.
2. Jordan Rockwell - Incredible Ladder Match Win against Thompson, match of
the year. Plus, he won the 6 Man Tag last week on Primetime. Plus, he holds
the Universal title, pinend by Shane Thompson to lose the Hardcore title.
3. Drew Blood - One of the greatest heels of all time, and our former TWF
Champion, but can he win without his "doctor?"
4. Sean O'Haire - Arguably the best Intercontinental Champion ever.
5. Christian - The new #1 Contender for the Universal Title after beating
Edge, and look, he's facing a friend in Rockwell!
6. Mystical - Can any Diva beat her? And if they can, can they beat her with
Darko?
7. Travis Wakeman - He's married to Trish, beat D.W. Jones, and pinned
Porteau in that 3 on 1 at Doomsday.
8. Rosey and Jamal - Arguably the best Tag Team this federation has ever
seen. They got their titles back from Cruz and Ibrahim, and beat Shelton
Benjamin in Tag Team Action 2 weeks ago.
9. Money Mike - One of the greats in the Wrestling World, but can he handle
Flair's invasion of his Horseman? Well apparently yes.
10. Ric Flair - Flair and his Horseman are back, and Flair looks to take out
the NEW Generation of the 4 Horseman. Well, sorry Mike, but I do see it
happening.
11.Shelton Benjamin - Shelton got his KOC title back from Matt Hardy, but
after he and Rey Mysterio lost in the Tag Turmoil, and he and Viscera lost
to The Tag Team Champions, I'm having some second thoughts.
12. Austin Porteau - Pinned by Wakeman this week in the 6 Man Tag on Rampage
and at Doomsday, keeping him out of the Top 10... But he has Miss Hancock so
he's at number 12.
13. John Cena - Tough past few weeks, including losing the title, beat Paul
Birchill at DoomsDay.
14. Joe Corey - Got the boot from The Horseman, but got some redemption when he defeated Jason Oliver at Doomsday.
15. Jason Oliver - Horseman member, and if he can would've beat Corey, he'd
have cracked the Top 10.
16. Shawn Michaels - Lost a Triple Threat #1 Contenders Match for the World
Title, and was pinned by Max Ogden in the Tag Team Turmoil. You still are
the Main Event... Right?
17. Mordecai - Beat Bahamut, injured him too, and has been purely
dominating.
18. New Road Warriors - Love 'em or hate 'em, pure greatness. Great to see
Animal back in the ring again, and as weird as he is, Heidenreich isn't half
bad. However, Heidenreich did just suffer a loss to Kato... Will the
Oriental Express steal their titles?
19. Cade and Murdoch - Won the Tag Team Gauntlet and are #1 Contenders for
the Rampage Tag Team Titles.
20. Paul London - Won the Lightheavyweight Title from Super Crazy, good enough
for me.
21. Paul Birchill - Made a huge impact as Drew Blood's doctor, and seems to
be doing pretty well on his own too.
22. Mackenzie Rose - Looks great early on, but didn't do too well against someone who isn't too much of a jobber... Matt Hardy.
23. Hart Family - Ogden finally pinned HBK, and The Hart Family beat The
Rockers, however, they got screwed out of a Title shot when they lost by
Double Count Out, thanks to Melina.
24. Rey Mysterio - Same past 2 results as HBK, except he hasn't won a
high-class match in a while... But hey, he's Rey Mysterio, he'll turn it
around... I hope.
25. Randy Orton - Tough loss at Eruption to Batista.
Right There Behind Them -
Bret Hart - Great comeback... But is he ready to Main Event again?
Bobby Lashley - One word... Impressive.
Super Crazy - Lost his Lightheavyweight Title, but seems like he's back after a
win over Kazarian.
Ken Kennedy - Another impressive superstar that looks to have a bright future.
Axl Irvin - Tough losses in his Title Shots, I'm sure he'll win it
eventually though.
Ultimo Dragon - One of the all-time greats, but is he still the Ultimate
Wrestler? No pun intended, of course.
Interview with the champ
Jay Leno: "Welcome back, my next guest is one of, if not thee most popular
superstar in the TWF, please welcome Jordan Rockwell.
The band plays an acoustic version of AC/DC's "Back in Black" as Rockwell
comes limping out with noticeable bruises, also with his hair slicked back
in a pony tail as he shakes hands with Leno and sits down.
Leno: "Thanks for being here".
Jordan Rockwell: "My pleasure, Jay".
Leno: "Now you just recently became champion of your show PrimeTime, is that
correct"?
Rockwell: "Yeah I outlasted four other men then in the same match defeated
the then champion at our pay-per-view MeltDown inside an elimination chamber match".
Leno: "Now I saw your last pay-per-view and it was brutal and you are showing the effects of it now".
Rockwell: "Yeah I got some cuts and bruises among other things but after the
event I did have to go to a local emergency room to get a 5 inch piece of
wood pulled from out of my calf and to get some stitches".
Leno: "Ouch! Now one thing I was curious about on Rampage, we see Stephanie
mcmahon getting involved with this Money Mike guy, is this a common thing with romance in the work place"?
Rockwell: "Uhhh, well obviously when you are around people long enough you
can grow feelings for that person such as in life in general, case in point
my wife is a member of the TWF as well".
Leno: "What do you think about this relationship on Rampage"?
Rockwell starts laughing....
Rockwell: "No comment".
Leno: "Come on you have to have some opinion".
Rockwell: "Not as long as her father signs my pay check, no! Uhhhhh honestly
the last guy she was married to was a piece of.... well I won't go there.
But I guess Mike is some sort of improvement you could say".
Leno: "Now I know that one thing that comes with being a TWF superstar is
charity work which i know you are heavily involved in".
Rockwell: "Oh yeah, we did some work with the Make-A-Wish foundation a while
back and the people involved with that along with the kids are really good
people so I have kept in touch with them and do as much as I can with my schedule".
Leno: "Why is Make-A-Wish so important to you"?
Rockwell: "Well I have two children of my own and I try to be the type of
role model to these kids that I meet with Make-A-Wish that I would want my
own children to have and to me, if that means spending time out of my
schedule and my personal life to meet these kids and to do things for them,
like story book reading or even spending my own money to bring the kids to
see their first live event, then it's what I will do simply because they are
all good kids that have been dealt a blow in one way or another and I think
we as entertainers in one form or another need to show we care".
The audience applauds...
Leno: "Now I wanted to play a little TWF word association with you".
Rockwell: "Sure".
Leno: "Vince McMahon".
Rockwell: "Genius".
Leno: "Ric Flair".
Rockwell: "Greatest ever".
Leno: "Carlito".
Rockwell begins laughing again.....
Rockwell: "No comment".
Leno: "Shane Thompson".
Rockwell: "Former champion".
Leno: "Okay now we've heard that it will be a show versus show event at the upcoming King of the Ring".
Rockwell: "Yeah it will be although from what I have been told the format has
yet to be determined but knowing the McMahon's it will be interesting".
Leno: "What are your thoughts on the stars of Rampage"?
Rockwell: "Well I have respect for everyone in the TWF without question and
I do have several friends on the show and there are also a couple guys I do
not know that I have a lot of respect for. But other than that some of them
don't impress me much honestly".
Leno: "Well that’s all the time we have, I want to thank my guest, TWF
superstar Jordan Rockwell and we will be back after this".
As the show goes to commercial, Rockwell and Leno shake hands again and begin
to talk privately.
