SEVERAL SUPERSTARS CHANGE THEIR COLORS
Yes, it's that time again, time for the annual TWF roster draft. This year's draft saw a slight decrease in the amount of picks for each division, as each got 3 selections from one of the other two brands. In all, 9 superstars changed shows.
The action got started with Shane McMahon defeating Muhammad Hassan at Foul Play for the right to name the first pick of the draft, and he did so by choosing "The Show" Joe Corey. Corey came straight on to PrimeTime, vowing to bring ECW with him.
The rest of the picks were all made randomly. For Hassan, he didn't just loose that match, but he also lost both his assistants, Mackenzie Rose and Psychosis, who were taken by SlaughterHouse. SlaughterHouse rounded out their selections by nabbing perhaps the biggest man in the business today, Viscera.
Rampage cashed by obtaining arguably the best technical wrestler in the world today, Chris Benoit. Along with the "Rabid Wolverine", Rampage got PrimeTime stallwarts Boogeyman and Snitsky, who both promise to refresh their careers with the change of scenery.
But most "insiders" feel that the best of this draft belongs to PrimeTime, who not only got Corey, but they also raked in long time TWF superstar and former 3 time World champion, "High Octane" Damion West.
TWF.com caught up with West, who had this to say.
"I've been part of Rampage since they did this whole brand split, and I'm excited for the new oppurtunity. For the superstars on PrimeTime, all they have to do is ask the guys on Rampage and they'll tell them, a head on collision is not far away".
PrimeTime rounded out it's selections by grabbing Rampage's resident pirate, Paul Birchill.
Look for all these superstars to debut on their new show very, very soon!
