COACHMAN GOES ONE ON ONE WITH NAILS

Johnathan Coachman: "Okay Nails, first off, are you happy to be part of the TWF"?

Nails: "Oh Fu** yeah, why wouldn't I be? It's been a dream of mine since I first got into this sport".

2. Coachman: "What is the significance of your hockey mask"?

Nails: "Well it started back in the WHWF. I was Wrestling Mick Foley in my first Death match. I tried to use it to protect my face from all the barbed wire the WHWF was famous for.....a lot of good it did. Mick broke it with a ball bat and gave me 30 stiches. Ever since then the mask has grown to be a part of me".

3. Coachman: "We know you have been part of many groups here in the TWF, but which was your favorite?

Nails: "I know a lot of people who would say that my favorite would be the NWO but I personally have to say The Hardcore Revolution for the simple fact that I was able to travel around with some old friends of mine from the WHWF. It was a lot of fun getting to see the United States again with my friends Hells Angel, Tex Watson, Mike Stalker and of course Wally".

4. Coachman: "Who has been your toughest opponent to date? Do you think Vlad will be the toughest one yet"?

Nails: "My toughest I really haven't given much thought to who was or is my toughest opponent because every one I have wrestled has given me a run for my money so to speek. But off hand I would have to say that it would be Nemesis for the simple fact that it's not about winning or even getting paid its about respect with the big man. So that means he is going to try and work me every time I wrestle him so I have to kick it up a notch and stay in the zone so to speek. Vlad, well when he came to the TWF he took some really cheap shots at me and tried to use me as a stepping stone. I have been watching the kid and checking out his moves for some time now. I am sure the kid is tough but can he take all the pain I can dish out? I think it will be a match like no one has ever seen or will see again. But one thing makes this match much more different than any other, I AM OUT NOT ONLY TO GET THE TITLE BUT I AM OUT TO HURT VLAD AND TO MAKE HIM BLEED. I really dont even care if I win the title I just want to show this kid what the meaning of HARDCORE is"!

5. Coachman: "It's a well known fact that you were trained by Terry Funk? What kind of emotions did you experience fighting him earlier this year at TWF Outbreak"?

Nails: I really dont get caught up in the emotions of any one match but I have to say that the match with Terry was hard for me not to get caught up in the emotions. I thought about just letting Terry pin me because it was his last match in the TWF and he was a hero of mine growing up. I was trained by him and then I couldn't believe it when I was kicking the Holy sh** out of him I couldn't Believe it ! When we got in the ring I felt the same emotions that all of the fans feel when their favorite wrestler makes their way to the ring and I felt the way that all wrestlers feel when they come to the ring".

6. Coachman: "You are the first superstar ever to sign a lifetime contract. What made you do that"?

Nails: "Well my contract was up with the TWF a while back and I love being in the TWF and my wife had just left me at the time so I figured what the hell I didn't have anything else to do so why not spend the rest my natural life wrestling? Look at Terry Funk, he had been wrestling for 35 some odd years for different feds and I did not want to end up like him doing Ford Commercials"!

7. Coachman: "Oh that's funny, Nails doing a Ford commercial. Now we've seen you use a fire poker as a weapon which I don't believe has ever been done before but do you have any other dangerous weapons we've yet to see"?

Nails: *Laughs* "Um, well I have been working on a few moves to show off. One is what I Call the 5150. Its six power bombs in a row followed by a DVD then into an STF. But wrestling in the type of matches I do you could use any thing".

8. Coachman: "Finally Nails, if you could list three goals you'd like to accomplish before your TWF career is over, what would they be"?

Nails: My main goals when I came to the TWF were to get a fan base, win the Hardcore title and show the world that the TWF Hardcore division is not to be taken lightly. Now that I have done all that I would say my 3 main goals right now are to win the Toughman title, start a wrestling school and maybe get into the TWF Hall of Fame some time, but not to soon!! Oh Coachman, I have a few things to say if you dont mind".

Coachman: "Sure go ahead"

Nails: "IT'S FU**ING HARDCORE OR NOTHING BITCH!!! Coachman: "Okay, well I'm sure it is and we thank you Nails for joining us, good luck at MeltDown".

WHAT WAS FIRST THOUGHT TO BE A MINOR INJURY.....

Could now be a career ending knee injury. Ron Simmons, aka Faarooq, went to Atlanta, Georgia this past Wednesday where and MRI revealed severe ligament damage in his left knee as the result of being thrown off the entrance ramp 15 feet to the floor during a match on PrimeTime. The former Florida State Seminole also has degenerative damage in his right knee and arthroscopic surgery is a probability. He also has a sprained ankle which was first diagnosed. But what was expected to keep him out about 8 weeks now looks to be 4-6 months at minimum. But the wrestling veteran says he is not done. "I still have something left to prove and I still have some ass to kick", says Faarooq who makes up one half of the Acolytes. His doctor, Tim Barton from Atlanta, says he could return to wrestling but he can't gaurantee that the pain in both knees won't linger forever. "He's put a lot of work into those knees", laughs Barton. But recognized as one of the toughest guys in the TWF lockerroom, if anyone can return to the squared circle, it's Faarooq.

SPOTLIGHT: SPENCER HOLLYWOOD

The first man to ever receive a TWF developmental contract, Spencer Hollywood wonders when or if, his time will come. He has one of the most impressive win-loss records in SMW and has wrestled on a few TWF shows, including defeating Essa Rios on a taping of Jakked. But his most memorable match came in December 1999 against then TWF star Kurt Angle. It was during a time in which Angle was working a program with Shaquille O'Neal, procaliming himself to be the world's best athlete. Angle was challenging superstars of any sport on an episode of Sunday Night Heat when Hollywood, who also participates in the X-Games as a BMX racer, accepted his challenge. He took Angle to the absolute limit, getting 8 two counts before falling victim to the "Angle Slam". But it was an experience Hollywood won't soon forget. "I thought I had him. They would of had to call me up then, he says". But Hollywood has experienced the feeling of being called up before. "I was getting ready to wrestle the Repo Man on an SMW show when I got a call from Bruce Pritchard saying I was gonna join the TWF the next day. I was like, yes, I finally did it". But the day after signing the deal, Hollywood was sent back down when the TWF acquired a tag team from their rival company. "It was a little discouraging but they felt those guys deserved the spot". Despite being in the developmental territory for almost 3 years, Hollywood has not given up hope. "I'll get there someday, you just gotta ve patient".

CAN ROCKWELL BECOME CHAMP AT MELTDOWN

Michael Cole: "I'm here with the man that will take part in the main event at meltdown against Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H. He is the TWF Intercontinental champion Jordan Rockwell. First off, what was your reaction when you heard Shane McMahon's announcement that the main event was now gonna be a triple threat match for the TWF title and that you were in it?

Jordan Rockwell: "Ya know, in all honesty at first all I heard was his announcement of the match that night, then i did one of those movie double takes (laughing) and I was like did he just say what I think he just said? I mean I know I had to get a shot since I was PrimeTime's number one contender but I thought it would have happened after MeltDown not at it".

Michael Cole: "As you know MeltDown will eminate from San Jose, California. Being from Los Angeles is this added pressure or motivation to do even better?

Jordan Rockwell: "umm, I'd have to say a little of both! Being that a few members of my family will be in attendance that night and being six hours from my hometown is a lot of pressure, but yeah, it makes me wanna win a million times more then when it was signed"

Michael Cole: "Over the past year and a half you've really elivated yourself to the point where you were the lead in to the main event, whats it like to finally be in the main event for the first time"?

Jordan Rockwell: "It's odd, because I've thought about that very statement for the past week and while it's nerve racking to be exactly that, in the main event, I think I'm more motivated then ever. I'm training harder then before and in all honesty I'm a lot more focused then ever, so at this point I'm way to stoked and amped to be nervous about this match. If anything I'll probably be nervous and whatever else that day and leading up to it".

Michael Cole: "Everyone is calling you the wild card in this match. Due to the fact that you have a victory over Stone Cold Steve Austin and that you've gotten to the top faster than Triple h. How do you respond to that"?

Jordan Rockwell: "Oh I agree, I mean I may have taken two beatings from both of them resently, but fact is what you said is true and the key to this is the fact that I'm the fastest rising superstar in the TWF. It's taken them a lot longer then it ever took me to get to the top. So if people wanna call me the wildcard in this match then what I say is so be it".

Michael Cole: "Have you contemplated life and your career if you were to win at MeltDown and become TWF champion"?

Jordan Rockwell: "No, I've never gone into a match thinking I'm gonna win it for the simple fact that the odds are to high out there to predict as far as who will win the match at any venue. Would I like to win, hell yeah! But I'm not gonna worry about winning the ppv because I know who I'm against and I know what's on the line in this triple threat match and thats the TWF world title"!

Michael Cole: "Okay there you have it from the Intercontinental champion and participant in the main event at MeltDown, Jordan Rockwell".
