Power 25

November 30, 2008

1. Randy Orton- PrimeTime was a busy night for Randy Orton. First off, he cost Ken Kennedy his match against Richard Ramsley and in the main event, he became the number one contender for Kennedy's belt. Last time: #4- Up 3 Spots

2. ECW World Champion/Rampage Tag Team Champion: Sylvester Terkay- After Rampage, Terkay had a decision to make after speaking with Joe Corey and on PrimeTime, the manbear answered that question with a heart punch, laying out the leader of ECW and at King of the Ring, the two men will face off for the ECW title. Last time:#10- Up 8 Spots.

3. King of Cable Champion: Sean O'Haire- The new King of Cable champ was scheduled to take on the technical magician on Rampage. Luckily for O'Haire, he got off the hook when his opponent was attacked by Chris Masters. O'Haire is not completely off the hook because, at the TWF Main event, he will team with Chris Masters to take on Chris Tirpak and Wakeman. Last time:#2- Down 1 Spot

4. Richard Ramsley- What a win for Ramsley this week on Rampage when he defeated the champ Ken Kennedy in a non title match, and for some reason I don't think Ramsley is completely done with Kennedy. Last time: #18- Up 14 Spots

5. TWF Champion: Mr. Kennedy- Losing to Richard Ramsley is probably something Kennedy didn't plan on heading in to this week's Rampage. Can Kennedy come back from his defeat this week, and prepare to face Randy Orton at King of the Ring? Last time: #1- Down 4 Spots

6. Eddie Saint James- On Rampage, Eddie St. James could not defeat Randy Orton and Money Mike to gain the number one contendership. He did earn a one-on-one match at King of the Ring after taking out Mike with a metal pipe. Last time:#6- No Change

7. Money Mike- There seems to be issues between Money Mike and Eddie St. James, after Eddie used some kind of metal pipe to take out Mike. Both men lost the match but they will get their chance at each other at King of the Ring. Last time:#5- Down 2 Spots

8. Travis Wakeman- The rivalry between Chris Masters and Travis Wakeman seems to have re-ignited this past week on Rampage. Because of the chair shot from Masters, Wakeman could not compete against Sean O'Haire. At the Main Event, Wakeman will team with Tirpak to face Masters and Sean O'Haire. Last time: #7-Down 1 Spot

9. TWF Tag Team Champions: United Nations- Paul Burchill and Harry Smith defeated a couple invitees to kick off Uprising. The Moscow Mauler did well for himself as well as he defeated Aldo Corleone and advanced in the King of the Ring tournament. Last time: #3-Down 6 Spots

10. J.J. "The Ram" Ramplin- Ramplin came back from his title loss, and was victorious against Shelton Benjamin in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. Last time: #15- Up 5 Spots

11. GeNext- Jason Oliver advanced in the King of the Ring tournament when he defeated RVD. M.X. and Stacy however, did not do as well as they suffered a loss at the hands of D'lo and Candice. It looks like there is a new member of GeNext in Deuce Snuka. Last time: #9-Down 2 Spots

12. Nails- The Hardcore Icon advanced in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament after he picked apart an already weakened CM Punk for the victory. Last time: #11- Down 1 Spot

13. Matt "Madik" Cruz- Cruz advanced in the King of the Ring tournament with a win over Axl Irvin, next Cruz faces the longest running King of Cable champion J.J. Ramplin in the second round of the tournament. Last time: #13- No Change

14. TWF Universal Champion: Edge- We haven't seen much from the Universal champ lately but, on PrimeTime it was announced Edge will face both John Cena and The Undertaker in a triple threat match at King of the Ring. Of course, following this announcement saw Edge attack John Cena. As PrimetTime came to a close Edge seemed pretty confident that his title would be going nowhere. Last time:#8- Down 6 Spots

15. Intercontinental Champion: Mark Henry- Mark Henry claimed he was going to expose "The Franchise" Jordan Rockwell on PrimeTime. Henry came to ringside during the Rockwell-Micheals match and Rockwell was able to win the match but after the match Henry laid out both Rockwell and his wife Lita before jumping off the ropes and slamming into them. Last time: #17-Up 2 Spots

16. Scott Steiner- On PrimeTime, Scott Steiner lost his first round King of the Ring match to Tatanka. Stiener looked to take out his post match frustrations on Cherry, that was until CM Punk arrived and defended her. That bravery by Punk would cost him later in the night as Scott Steiner attacked CM during his entrance. The attack played a big part in Punk's eventual loss. Last time: #12- Down 4 Spots

17. The Requiem- Kevin Thorn advanced in the King of the Ring tournament in a match that was supposed to see Thorn vs. Matt Hardy. Just as Hardy was going in for the Twist of Fate, the rest of The Requiem joined Ariel at ringside, distracting Matt Hardy long enough for Thorn to deliver a big boot and pin Hardy. Last Time- Not ranked

18. Chaos Wolf- After PrimeTime we now know that Chaos Wolf will get his hands on Samaiel at King of the Ring but on PrimeTime, he choked out The French Phenom Renee Dupree with the Gogoplata. Last time: #19- Up 1 Spot

19. Jordan Rockwell- After PrimeTime, you have to know that The Franchise has to be looking to get revange on the world's strongest man after Henry smashed both Rockwell and Lita. It had to be a bittersweet night for Jordan Rockwell, first winning his match against his former partner Shawn Micheals then the incident following involving Mark Henry. Last time: #16- Down 3 Spots

20. Chris Masters- Chris Masters was on Rampage and obviously has some unresolved issues with Travis Wakeman, the man in which he attacked before his match against Sean O'haire on Rampage. At the TWF's Main Event, Masters will team with O'Haire to team with Tirpak and Wakeman. Last Time- Not ranked

21. Dylan Jansens- Dylan Jansens finally got the win he needed over Sebastian Cain. Because of that, not only does he make it onto the TWF's Power 25, but he advances in the King of the Ring tournament. He faces Jason Oliver in the next round. Last Time- Not Ranked

22. Sebastian Cain- Cain's relationship with Sean O'Haire is doing more harm to his career than it is helping him. This week O'Haire distracted Cain with a cell phone, giving the very much needed win to Dylan Jansens. Hopefully Cain can somehow bounce back next week. Last time: #14- Down 8 Spots

23. Samaiel- Samaiel was called out by Chaos wolf but instead, Samaiel came over the loudspeakers informing Chaos Wolf about their match at King of the Ring. Samaiel promises to introduce his "chamber of horrors" at King of the ring. Last time: #20-Down 3 Spots

24. John Cena- John Cena will face Edge and the Undertaker at King of the Ring in a triple threat match for the TWF Universal Championship. On PrimeTIme we last saw Cena laid out by Edge, will the momentum switch sides as we get closer to the title defense? Last time: #22- Down 2 Spots

25. Melina- While her win was not televised on Rampage, Melina captured the TWF's Womens title on the most recent edition of Uprising. Last Time- Not Ranked

On The Border

"The Show" Joe Corey- What a horrible edition of PrimeTime for Joe Corey. First, he was attacked by the deadman as soon as he entered the ring and by the time he got to his feet he was knocked back down by Terkay's heart punch. One good thing coming out of PrimeTime for Corey is that he will get a shot at the ECW championship at King of the Ring when he faces Sylvester Terkay. Last Time- #21

Tatanka- Well, lately this man seems to not care about much. On PrimeTime, Tatanka picked up a win against Scott Steiner and advanced into the King of the Ring tournament, while it was a big win I haven't seen anything in a while from Tatanka that has caught my eye. He did not crack the p25 this week but perhaps if he leaves his mark next week he may get in.

The Undertaker- This man made an appearance on PrimeTime, chokeslamming Joe Corey. At Meltdown he will compete against Edge and John Cena for the Universal title.

Chris Tirpak- After Matsers attacked Wakeman on Rampage, Tirpak was quick to make a challenge to Masters at Main Event. It's Tirpak teaming with Wakeman against Masters and O'Haire.

PJ Cash- In a repeat performance from last week's PrimeTime, The million dollar mogul and his hired muscle took out "High Octane" Damion West for the second week in a row. Last Time: #24

D'Lo Brown- Teaming with Candice, D'lo picked up a win against M.X. Ogden and Stacy Kiebler.

JBL- On Uprising, Layfield was able to punish Ricky Ortiz for the comments he made.

Shawn Micheals- HBK couldn't get the job done this week against his former partner, Jordan Rockwell.
