Richard Ramsley appears on the Howard Stern Show

*WARNING: The following interview contains coarse language, and adult topics.*

Howard Stern: Well folks, tonight we’ve got a guest from the global wrestling juggernaut known as the TWF. He’s doing a little promotional work for their upcoming Pay-Per-View WrestleMania 12, I’d like to introduce Richard Ramsley.

Richard Ramsley: It’s great to be here, Howard.

Stern: Now, Richard, I looked into you before the show, man, and-and, I gotta say *Laughs* You’re bat shit crazy.

Ramsley: *Chuckles* Yeah, well, what can I say? I have a reputation, and I ain’t ashamed to embrace it.

Stern: So, man, the TWF. WrestleMania. This shit is huge. I mean, I’m not a huge wrestling fan, or anything, but I know enough about it, and enough about the TWF to know that this has all just steamrolled. You go back about ten years, and the TWF, WrestleMania, it was all around, but it wasn’t anywhere near as big as it is now. Tell me, man, what’s it like being part of this massive media powerhouse?

Ramsley: To be honest, man, it’s just a fucking blast. Like you said, the TWF has exploded in recent years. I don’t know what the Hell possessed Travis to get up, and start all this, but damn, did he not strike gold, or what? And it makes it a lot of fun for guys like me, because you travel all over the world, you meet a lot of people, and it’s just.... it’s hard to explain, man. The TWF heads somewhere and it’s like a giant, crazy-ass, week long circus. The TWF has been trying really hard in recent years to get the fans more involved, so now, we pretty much take over wherever we happen to be that week. And this year's WrestleMania? It’s been CRAZY. It’s basically a homecoming of sorts, and the TWF is totally taking advantage of it. We've got the fan expos coming up, which I’m proud to say that yours truly will be a part of them; you’ve got this media blitzkrieg mind baby that Travis has got going on… it’s just insane. When we do hit Denver, it’s going to be wild.

Stern: You know, we’re talking about how big the TWF is, we’re talking about how the fans are getting involved, and all that, so I gotta ask. What’s the craziest experience you’ve ever had with a fan?

Ramsley: *Laughs* Oh, God, you’d think that’d be a hard question to answer, but there was this one time I’ll never forget. It was right after one of our Pay-Per-Views, Meltdown, back in 2009. There’s a little tidbit about my match that night that a lot of people don’t know. When Cain see-sawed that ladder into my face at the end of the match, it broke my front tooth in half. I’ve since had it fixed, no harm there. By the time the trainers had checked me out, and made arrangements with the local hospital, the show was over. Well, I didn’t have a broken neck, or anything, so when they offered to cart me over to the ambulance on that little buggie thing, I turned ‘em down. I just told them I’d meet them in the parking lot, and we could head over to the ER from there. Well as I’m walking through the parking lot, out of no where, I hear this girl scream “OH MY GOD!” Well I turn my head, and sure enough, there’s this hot ass woman standing there, looking star-struck.

Stern: Heh, how hot are we talking, man?

Ramsley: She made me wish I wrestled in something other than jeans, I’ll tell you that much.

Stern: *Laughs* Alright man, go on, what happened next?

Ramsley: Well, she’s got her hand clenched up real tight on something, and she’s just standing there, too afraid to say anything, I guess. Thing is, I don’t mean to toot my own horn, or anything, but I’m one of the most hated guys in the TWF. Normally, when a fan sees me, I’m met with a “fuck off,” or a middle finger, so to see this deliciously beautiful woman just staring at me with this big, goofy smile on her face, I was taken off guard. So I give her a big grin, which is funny because, remember, I’m missing half a tooth, and there’s blood all over my teeth, and I walk on over to her. She’s practically stammering, and I say “So, you enjoy the show?” She nods, and her smile gets even bigger. I figure I’d try a little further, so I put my hand on her arm, and simply said “Good, I’m glad I could put a smile on your face by getting my face all busted up.” And with that, I flashed her a nice, big, toothless smile.

Stern: Oh, that’s smooth. *Laughs*

Ramsley: *Laughs* I know, right? Well, I do that, and her eyes go crazy wide, and she goes “Oh! That’s right! I picked this up during your match, could you, maybe, like, initial this for me?” And man, I swear to God, she un-clenches her hand and she’s got the other fucking half of my tooth!

Stern: Oh, you’re shitting me!

Ramsley: No man, I kid you not! When the ladder hit me, my tooth popped out onto the floor, and this chick had front row tickets, so she leaned over the guard rail, and grabbed my fucking tooth!

Stern: Wow.... just wow, that’s a Hell of a souvenir *Laughs*

Ramsley: Yeah, man, needless to say, I was shocked. I stood there for a second, and then I just lost it. I was laughing so damn hard, I think I probably freaked her out.

Stern: So what happened after that?

Ramsley: Well, I got done laughing, found a Sharpie from one of the crew that was roaming around, and I wrote my initials onto my own tooth. *Laughs*

Stern: Anything else happen between you and this chick?

Ramsley: Yeah, well, I got her number. Flew her out to wherever we were the next night, and after the show, we had a Hell of a time. *Chuckles*

Stern: Oh, very nice! Was that the end of it?

Ramsley: Eh, not quite. We dated a few more times, I smashed it quite a few more times than that *Laughs* She’s actually a really nice chick. We’re not doing anything anymore, but we’re still friends; she’s a big TWF fan, so I fly her out to a show every now and then.

Stern: Oh, knight in shining armor, huh?

Ramsley: Ha, yeah, you can say that, I guess.

Stern: Well, I hate to end this so soon, but that’s all the time we’ve got for you tonight. Man, you’ve been a Hell of a guest, I’d love to have you back sometime.

Ramsley: Yeah, it’s been fun, I’d love to be back.

Stern: Alright, guys, we’ll be back after the break.
