THE SWIRLING WIND THEN PICKS UP, BLOWING THE WRESTLEMANIA 8 LOGO RIGHT INTO THE SHOT WHICH THEN GOES INSIDE THE SUPERDOME, WHICH IS JUST STACKED WITH TWF FANS. LEGENDARY RING ANNOUNCER HOWARD FINKEL IS SHOWN IN THE RING.

Howard Finkel: "Welcome to WrestleMania eight!

THE CROWD LETS OUT A HUGE BURST OF CHEERS.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Latin recording artist, the lovely Paula DeAnda"!

PAULA DeANDA IS SHOWN IN THE RING IN A NICE BLACK DRESS AND SHE RECEIVES A WARM WELCOME BEFORE PERFORMING A TERRIFIC RENDITION OF THE NATIONAL ANTHEM. HER PERFORMANCE CONCLUDES WITH A 30 SECOND PYRO DISPLAY WHICH LIGHTS THE PLACE UP AND GETS THE CROWD EVEN MORE HYPED UP.

Jim Ross: "Can you believe this place, King?! Just a year and a half ago, it looked like this place might be demolished, but tonight, the fans of the TWF have rolled out in droves for WrestleMania 8"!

Jerry Lawler: "The latest figure I heard had over seventy five thousand people packed in here, J.R.! Wow"!

J.R.: "And we're not alone, we've got help from our PrimeTime broadcast colleagues"!

MICHAEL COLE AND JBL COME INTO THE SHOT AT THE PRIMETIME BROADCAST TABLE.

Michael Cole: "Thank you, J.R., and you are right, the SuperDome is rocking tonight"!

JBL: "This is like the Rolling Stones in 1981 or The Pope himself back in '87..... the SuperDome has never seen anything like this, Michael"!

Cole: "Fifteen matches on the card tonight should make for the biggest WrestleMania of all time"!

A MIXED REACTION GREETS EYE SPY AS THEY COME OUT TO THEIR MUSIC WITH CANDICE MICHELLE. MAX OGDEN EXCHANGES WORDS WITH SOME OF THE FANS AND ALEX SHELLEY IS CARRYING A VIDEO CAMCORDER.

J.R.: "And of those fifteen matches, Michael, six of them will be for titles and we are kicking this mega event off with the Rampage Tag Team title match"!

Lawler: "And this is a team that I really like! We've only seen them team together one time, but they have a ton of charisma and they have one other gem..... Candice"!

J.R.: "There's no doubt that these guys will be able to match up with any of the teams on Rampage, but they've had one match together while their opponents have teamed together in the past and had hundreds"!

A BIG POP COMES RISES FROM THE MASSIVE CROWD AS THE WORLD's GREATEST TAG TEAM's MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT, LOOKING HYPED UP, WITH THE RAMPAGE TAG TEAM TITLES AROUND THEIR WAISTS.

Lawler: "Well, J.R., this all stems from these two guys taking it upon themselves to excuse Max Ogden from a match on Rampage"!

J.R.: "Yeah, shame on them for showing concern for a guy who fell off a fifteen foot high platform onto some sound equipment".

TWF Rampage Tag Team Title Match

Challengers: Eye Spy w/ Candice vs. World's Greatest Tag Team

WrestleMania 8's opening match went by in lightning quick fashion, without a clear winner. Ogden started the match off with Shelton and they locked up. Shelton quickly whipped Ogden to the mat with an armdrag and then hit the ropes but Ogden popped back up with a flying heel kick and made a quick tag to Alex Shelley. Shelley came in and rocked Shelton with 2 quick jabs before hitting the ropes but he missed with a clothesline and Shelton caught him with a spin kick that dropped him. Shelton then turned to make the tag to Charlie Haas, but Candice was over messing with him, causing a distraction. She had her arms wrapped around his right foot but he forcefully pushed her away and yelled at her to get away from him. Ogden came running over, pushing Haas off the apron from behind. Meanwhile, Shelley had hammered Benjamin from behind but Benjamin scored with a powerslam after Shelley hit the ropes. Outside the ring, Ogden took a swing at Haas but Haas avoided it and delivered a nasty Exploder suplex right on the floor! Ogden grabbed his lower back in pain but Shelley connected with a dropkick in the ring that sent Benjamin sailing over the top rope. Haas came over, trying to help his partner to his feet when Shelley hit the ring ropes on one side and ran across the ring, flying over the top rope with a suicide dive that took all 3 men out! Shelley's head slammed into the PrimeTime broadcast table and although the fans probably weren't big Shelley supporters, they applauded the action. Candice tried to encourage her team to return to the ring, but referee Jose Mendez had reached a 7 count. Haas, Benjamin and Shelley were all barely moving but Ogden was up to one knee. Ogden grabbed the bottom ring rope, looking to pull himself back in, but he couldn't do it before Mendez reached the count of 10 and the bell sounded.

Match Time: 4:39

Lawler: "What happened"?!

J.R.: "I think both teams have been counted out, King"!

OGDEN WAS INFORMED THAT THE MATCH HAD BEEN STOPPED DUE TO A DOUBLE COUNT OUT, AND OUT OF FRUSTRATION, HE GRABBED THE TIMEKEEPER's CHAIR, FOLDED IT OVER AND THEN SMASHED IT OVER THE HEADS OF BOTH HAAS AND BENJAMIN!

EYE SPY's MUSIC PLAYED AND THE CROWD SHOWERED THEM WITH BOOS.

Lawler: "Oh did you hear that"?!

J.R.: "It was the sound of steel meeting skull and now look at this.... what are they doing"?!

AS OGDEN AND CANDICE STOOD OVER THE WORLD's GREATEST TAG TEAM, SHELLEY USED THE CAMCORDER TO RECORD SOME FOOTAGE.

Lawler: "He's recording it! That's a great idea"!

J.R.: "Yeah, well Haas and Benjamin will retain the Tag Team straps and if you ask me, they'll be in the ring with Ogden and Shelley again"!

Cole: "Tremendous action to start things off tonight, John, but we've got plenty on the table ourselves"!

JBL: "Last I checked, we had more superstars in action than Rampage, SlaughterHouse or the UFC, Michael"!

BOOS ARE HEARD IN UNISON WHEN "NO LEAF CLOVER" HITS AND EDDIE SAINT JAMES MAKES HIS WAY OUT, ALONG WITH MONICA.

Cole: "And we're ready to jump right into the next match, which, if I may borrow a line from J.R., has all the makings for a slobberknocker"!

JBL: "Well I'm not gonna borrow anything from that idiot Lawler, but I must say, Monica is looking good tonight"!

Cole: "Falls will count anywhere in the arena for this one, John"!

JBL: "I have been in matches like this, Michael, and trust me, no good can come of this"!

THE MUSIC STOPS PLAYING AND THE SAINT IS WAITING THE ARRIVAL OF JOHNNY HAZARD WHEN HIS VOICE IS HEARD OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS.

Johnny Hazard: "Ohhhhhh Eddddddie. What are you waiting for, let's do this! I'm right over here!

SAINT JAMES LOOKS ALL AROUND HIM, BUT CAN'T LOCATE HAZARD.

Over here, under the announce table".

THE SAINT GOES AND LOOKS UNDER THE TABLE, BUT FINDS NOTHING.

Cole: "Johnny Hazard is playing some serious head games here".

JBL: "This is ridiculous! Get him out here"!

Johnny Hazard: "Come on, Eddie, these people don't have all night! Look under the ring"!

IN A FIT OF ANGER, THE SAINT PULLS UP THE RING APRON BUT HIS EYES GET TO BE THE SIZE OF SAUCERS WHEN HE SEES A HOCKEY MASK UNDER THERE!

JBL: "What the hell?! Disqualify Hazard"!

Johnny Hazard: "I'm in the back, Eddie, come and get me"!

THE SAINT WALKS UP THE RAMP AND GOES BACK INTO THE BACKSTAGE AREA. AS SOON AS HE DOES, HAZARD COMES FROM OUT OF NOWHERE AND NAILS HIM IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD WITH THE MICROPHONE. REFEREE MIKE ENOS, WHO ALSO FOLLOWED THE SAINT BACK, CALLS FOR THE BELL TO START THE MATCH.

Falls Count Anywhere

Eddie Saint James w/ Monica vs. Johnny Hazard

The fight was on in the backstage area and the surprise attack by Hazard had put Saint James in plenty of trouble. After throwing The Saint into the wall, Hazard ran in with a kick to the gut before pushing him over a pile of crates. Monica came from behind and jumped on Hazard's shoulders, trying to choke him. This allowed The Saint to get back up and nail Hazard with a forearm smash before throwing him into the same stack of crates. But as Monica cheered her man on, she was jumped on by the four women that comprise The Harem! The lovely ladies were all over the Diva of the Dark but Saint James was still in control of the match. After a hard short arm clothesline, The Saint found a 2x4 and cracked it across the back of Hazard. He then pulled him up by the hair and told him "Still think you made a good decision"? before just slapping him across the face. The skirmish with the women was still going on, but The Saint found a bucket and picked it up. He was getting ready to strike Hazard with it but Hazard got up and charged at him, wrapping both arms around The Saint's waist and driving him right into a food cart that was located outside a small lounge area in the arena. Hazard then used some mustard and ketchup dispensers and covered the face of The Saint before picking up a tray of condiments and just throwing them at him. The Saint was never able to recover as Hazard was in a zone. After ramming him face first into a monitor at the bar, Hazard picked The Saint up and bodyslammed him on the hard floor. Hazard then kicked over 3 stools that were set up at the bar before setting his head down right on the bar and using the door that covered the entrance into the bar to smash Saint James over the head! After doing that twice, Hazard went under the bar, throwing around some glasses and expensive bottles of liquor before pulling out a fire poker! The fans inside stadium knew things were about to get ugly, and after driving the handle of the fire poker into the gut of The Saint, Hazard smacked him right over the head with it, showing pure hatred! The Saint was split wide open and when seeing the size of the cut and the amount of blood loss, Enos called for the bell, stopping the match and awarding it to Hazard.

"NEW WORLD DISORDER" BY BIOHAZARD PLAYED AS THE HAREM CAME RUNNING OVER TO CONGRATULATE HAZARD. ENOS WAS MAKING THE "X" SIGNAL, WAITING ON PARAMEDICS. HAZARD TOOK THE FIRE POKER AND THREW IT ASIDE. IT CLANGED OFF THE FLOOR AS HE AND THE HAREM WALKED OFF.

Cole: "What a brutal match that was and what a nasty scene this has turned into".

JBL: "Eddie Saint James is in trouble, Michael, he's gonna need over a hundred stitches to close that wound and if it struck his eye, he'll have even more problems"!

Cole: "Johnny Hazard has come to New Orleans and picked up a win and for The Saint, it looks like he may've lost more than just the match".

BACKSTAGE AREA.......

INSIDE AN OLD LOCKER ROOM, EDGE IS SHOWN WITH CHRIS MASTERS.

Edge: "Yeah, I mean, c'mon, think about it. Everyone saw how we won that match on PrimeTime against Lashley and Flair. If we work together tonight, one of us is almost guaranteed to win the Jackpot"!

Chris Masters: "Okay, I'll go with it. But I must say, I have a feeling that WrestleMania will be the night the Masterpiece breaks out".

MASTERS LEAVES THE ROOM AND EDGE LAUGHS TO HIMSELF.

Edge (to himself): "Yeah, we'll see about that..... dumbass".

THE STADIUM LIGHTS TURN TO A DIM RED AS KEVIN THORN's MUSIC HITS AND HE MAKES HIS WAY OUT CARRYING HIS WALKING STICK. FOLLOWING HIM IS ARIEL, WHO IS DRESSED IN A BLACK LEATHER CORSET AND BLACK SKIRT WITH SKULL AND CROSSBONE LOGOS ALL OVER IT.

Cole: "Edge has got something up his sleeve, John, that much is obvious".

JBL: "And that's why he's getting Chris Masters, the man with the million dollar body and the peasized brain to help him out! Masters actually thinks he's gonna outsmart the Rated R superstar.... I love it"!

Cole: "Kevin Thorn and Ariel as you can see are making the long trek to the ring and one thing we haven't talked about tonight, John, is the length of this entrance ramp".

JBL: "That ramp has got to be the longest in TWF history, Michael, I've never seen anything like it"!

CHEERS FILL THE STADIUM AS "BEFORE I FORGET" BY SLIPKNOT HITS AND TAZ MAKES HIS WAY OUT, MARCHING STRAIGHT TO THE RING.

Cole: "All the way from the streets of Brooklyn.... Taz is here at WrestleMania"!

JBL: "I honestly thought I'd never see the day, Michael, but this man, Taz, who we know made his name in other rival companies, is making his first ever appearance at WrestleMania"!

Cole: "Well this is a situation very much like the one between Johnny Hazard and Eddie Saint James, Kevin Thorn and Ariel seemed to want to have Taz on their side, following vampirism just as they do, but Taz said no"!

JBL: "Yeah, not only did Taz say no, but he put that damn chokehold he likes to use on the one hundred and twenty pound Ariel, which is inexcusable as far as I'm concerned"!

Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel vs. Taz

The bell sounded and the two men wasted no time getting after it. Taz and Thorn traded shots in the center of the ring. Each man probably threw around twenty punches to start the match, with most of them connecting. But suddenly, Taz grabbed Thorn around the waist, most likely looking for a belly to belly, but Thorn blocked it with a big elbow to the head. He then took a step back and kicked Taz square in the face, knocking him to the mat. Taz tried to pick himself up, but Thorn pounded him with several shots to the back. He then picked him up and shot him to the corner, but missed with a clothesline when Taz moved. Taz then grabbed Thorn for a capture suplex, before standing over him and just clubbing him on either side of the head with some swinging forearms. Taz then tried to get in the "Tazmission", but Thorn felt it coming and stood up, falling back into the corner with Taz. After a few hard right hands, Thorn pulled Taz right into a clothesline before dropping a big elbow on his chest. Thorn made the cover, but Taz was easily up. Thorn pulled him up and whipped him to the ropes, but Taz ducked a clothesline and came back with 2 hard right hands before hitting the ropes, but using the walking stick, Ariel hooked the right foot of Taz, nearly tripping him up. Taz turned around and tried to get his hands on her, but Thorn came from behind with a double sledge to the back. After a backdrop suplex, Thorn had a look in his eyes that he was ready to end the match. He picked Taz up for his Razor's Edge style powerbomb, but Taz fought free and landed right on his feet, delivering a bridged german suplex for the 1......2.......3! Ariel couldn't believe it as Taz had his hand raised by referee Mickey Henson.

Match Time: 4:51

Cole: "He got him! What a move by Taz"!

JBL: "He calls himself the suplex machine, Michael, and one of those suplexes just gave him his first ever win at the biggest event in our business"!

"BEFORE I FORGET" PLAYED AGAIN AS TAZ LEFT, NOT EVEN LOOKING BACK WHILE ARIEL KNELT DOWN NEXT TO A VERY ANGRY THORN.

Cole: "It was hard hitting, smashmouth wrestling, and it's hard to beat Taz under those circumstances"!

J.R.: "Great stuff from PrimeTime so far, huh King"?

Lawler: "Yeah, all except for JBL, he needs to learn when to shut his mouth"!

JBL: "Hey, if you're feelin' froggy Lawler, let me know! I'd love to give these fine people in New Orleans a WrestleMania moment"!

Lawler: "Yeah, I got your WrestleMania moment".

"MISTERRRRRRR KENNEDYYYYYYY....... KENNEDY" IS HEARD AND KEN KENNEDY's MUSIC PLAYS AS HE IS GREETED BY MIXED REACTION BEFORE HEADING TO THE RING.

J.R.: "Let's just call the action, King, we've still got a long night ahead of us and here comes one of your favorites".

Lawler: "Ken Kennedy who is making his WrestleMania debut but he's also out here as somewhat of a hitman for Muhammad Hassan".

J.R.: "It was back at DoomsDay on Halloween night that Hassan thought he had rid the TWF of Mick Foley forever! That was, until Dude Love showed up".

DUDE LOVE's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A HUGE POP IN A PAIR OF AQUA BLUE TIGHTS AND A BLUE TYE DYE SHIRT.

Lawler: "Here he comes, J.R., and listen to this crowd"!

J.R.: "This is Mick Foley at his best, King, and the outfit might look funny, the music might sound funny, but Kennedy better be ready for a fight"!

Lawler: "Well as you'd say, J.R., Mick Foley is goofier than a pet coon, but he has a chance to really stick it to Hassan tonight with this whole multiple personality disorder thing he's got goin'"!

Mr. Kennedy vs. Dude Love

As the bell sounded to start the match, Kennedy walked up and slapped Dude Love right across the face, knocking his shades right off. Most expected Dude Love to respond in the same manner, but instead he turned and went into a weird dance movement. Kennedy tried to throw a right hand, but it was blocked and the Dude pounded him with 3 quick rights of his own. Dude Love then shot Kennedy to the corner and followed in but posted his shoulder when Kennedy bailed. Kennedy then connected with a jumping enziguri before making the cover, but all he got was 2. Kennedy then pulled Dude Love up and tagged him with 2 straight right hands before knocking him over the top rope and to the floor with a textbook standing dropkick. Kennedy then went to the top rope and came flying off, but Dude Love recovered in time to bury a right hand in his midsection. After ramming Kennedy face first into the steel ring steps, Dude Love went to the apron and winded up his right arm before flying off with an elbow, driving it into the heart of Kennedy. Dude Love rolled Kennedy into the ring as referee Chad Patton reached an 8 count. The Dude then got back in himself and raised his right arm to the approval of the crowd. With Kennedy down in the corner, Dude Love charged across the mat and drove his knee right into his face! Kennedy was in a world of trouble but as Dude pulled him out of the corner, Kennedy got in a lowblow that Patton didn't see as he was out of position. Kennedy then took Dude Love and slammed the back of his head right into the mat. After 3 more stinging right hands, he shot him to the ropes but he dropped his head too soon and Dude pulled him in for a nasty stump puller piledriver that just folded Kennedy up. Dude made the cover and Patton slapped the mat 3 times to bring the match to an official end.

Match Time: 7:27

J.R.: "Haha...... take that Hassan"!

Lawler: "Can you believe this, J.R.?! Dude Love has just defeated Mister Kennedy! Oh boy, Hassan's not gonna like this"!

DUDE LOVE's MUSIC PLAYED AND HE CELEBRATED WITH THE CROWD, WHO LOVED WHAT THEY WERE SEEING.

J.R.: "Mick Foley, under the guise of Dude Love, has spoiled the WrestleMania debut of Mister Kennedy and even better than that, he's spoiled the night for our hated Rampage GM"!

BACKSTAGE AREA.......

PAULA DeANDA IS SHOWN WITH HER ENTOURAGE AND THEY ARE ABOUT TO LEAVE THE ARENA WHEN MONEY MIKE AND STEPHANIE COME UP. MONEY MIKE IS CLAPPING, BUT DOING SO IN A SARCASTIC MANNER.

Money Mike: "Great job with the National Anthem, girl. What was your name again?

PAULA GOES TO ANSWER........

Nevermind, it doesn't matter. But still, great job for a..... how old are you? Nevermind, no one cares about that either. All anyone cares about tonight, is who is going to win the World title match. So let me ask you, who do you think will win the main event"?

Paula DeAnda: "Uh, I just went and talked to Travis Wakeman. He's my favorite wrestler, so I gotta go with him".

Money Mike: "Let me guess.... he's your hero. Well guess what? I hate to upset you, but tonight, I'm gonna kick your hero's ass and take his belt"!

MONEY MIKE AND STEPH WALK OFF AS PAULA DeANDA JUST SHAKES HER HEAD.

THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING, WHERE "FIREFLY" BY BREAKING BENJAMIN HITS AND CHRIS PLATOON COMES OUT TO A LOT OF BOOS.

J.R.: "Money Mike sure isn't lacking any confidence, King, but I felt that was a little rude to act that way towards that young lady who performed our National Anthem with greatness earlier tonight"!

Lawler: "Yeah, well like him or hate him, Money Mike could represent this company as the World champion by the end of the night"!

J.R.: "And here comes another man who has touched a nerve with many of our fans as it is time for the Hall of Fame challenge, King".

Lawler: "It sure is, so let's send it over to Michael and that big dumb Texan"!

JBL: "You're pushin' it, King, and I'm from New York City, get your facts straight".

Cole: "Chris Platoon is ready to take on the Hot Rod here and John, there is no question this is the biggest match of his career"!

JBL: "Without a doubt, Michael! Chris Platoon has a chance to defeat one of the all time greats on the biggest stage of them all, but he better be ready for a fight"!

Howard Finkel: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the 2007 TWF Hall of Fame class!

THE CROWD RISES FROM THEIR SEATS AS FINKEL INTRODUCES THE ROCK, DREW BLOOD, KEN SHAMROCK AND RON SIMMONS. THEY ALL RECEIVE MASSIVE OVATIONS. THE CHEERS BECOME EVEN LOUDER WHEN THE PLAYING OF BAGPIPES IS HEARD AND ROWDY RODDY PIPER STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK WEARING HIS "HOT ROD" T-SHIRT AND KILT.

Cole: "You get the feeling that any of these five men could step into that ring with Platoon tonight, John, but Piper looks as good as ever"!

JBL: "I was told that Piper wanted to accept this challenge the moment Platoon issued it, and he's been training for it ever since"!

Cole: "Both of these men are cancer survivors and while Platoon has taken the chance to let everyone know that, Piper quietly fought the life threatening disease and that is what sets these men apart, Piper just has a little more class if you ask me"!

JBL: "Calling Piper classy, I never thought I'd hear those words put together, but unfortunantely, classy won't win you matches at WrestleMania"!

Hall of Fame Challenge

Chris Platoon vs. Rowdy Roddy Piper

The bell sounded to start the match and for the first time all night, the crowd was on the edge of their seats. As the two met nose to nose in the center of the ring, a loud "Piper" chant broke out. But Platoon brushed the legend back with a slap across the face. Piper actually cracked a smile and slapped him back. Platoon threw a right hand, but quickly found out that he wouldn't be able to trade punches with the former Golden Gloves boxer. Piper knocked Platoon into the corner with a barrage of rights and lefts before lighting him up with 2 hard knifedge chops. Piper then went for an irish whip to the corner, but Platoon reversed it right into a nasty clothesline. Platoon then got down on the mat, driving the base of his forearm into the head of Piper before kicking him right in the ribs. Platoon pulled Piper up and blasted him with 2 chops of his own before raking his fingers across his face. Platoon then whipped Piper to the corner and flew in with a devastating knee to the head. Platoon picked Piper up and delivered a backdrop suplex, driving the back of his head right into the mat. "Get up Piper! You're a Hall of Famer"!, yelled Platoon. Platoon then locked in a reverse chin lock, using his knee to immobilize the man two weeks short of turning 53 years old. Platoon decided to break the hold on his own, pulling Piper right up in a swinging neckbreaker. Platoon made the cover, but he could only manage a 2 count. The fans were stunned by the way Platoon was just taking the fight to Piper. But when Platoon went for a whip to the corner and Piper reversed it, the match turned around when Piper snuck in the sleeper hold! A huge burst of cheers came out of the crowd as Piper had in his signature hold. But Platoon countered with a sitdown jawbreaker before just drilling Piper with a clothesline. He then went to the middle rope and walked across the ring ropes, looking for an elbow drop. But Piper rolled out of the way. Both men got their feet at about the same time and Piper again went to his boxing background, peppering Platoon with right and left jabs before dropping him with a wind up right hook. Platoon tried to get up, but Piper grabbed him and delivered a double arm DDT, hooking the leg for the 1........2..........3!

Match Time: 7:55

Cole: "Piper has done it! Oh yeah..... this is great"!

THE BAGPIPES PLAYED AGAIN AND PIPER HAD HIS HAND RAISED BY REFEREE CHARLES ROBINSON AS HOWARD FINKEL ANNOUNCED HIM THE WINNER. THE CHEERS FROM THE CROWD WERE AS LOUD AS THEY HAD BEEN ALL NIGHT.

JBL: "What a way to stamp your mark on a Hall of Fame career! This is unbelievable"!

Cole: "This is what WrestleMania is all about folks! This is a true WrestleMania moment"!

Lawler: "That was great, J.R."!

J.R.: "The incomparable Rowdy Roddy Piper victorious at WrestleMania and what we have coming up next should be nothing short of a wrestling classic"!

Lawler: "In 1996, Kurt Angle won an Olympic Gold medal in Atlanta and in 2002, Matt Cruz won an NCAA championship at the University of Texas! Tonight, we find out who's better"!

KURT ANGLE's MUSIC HITS AND A MIXTURE OF BOOS AND "YOU SUCK" CHANTS FILL THE SUPERDOME BEFORE PYRO SPRAYS UPWARD AND ANGLE STOPS, POINTING TWO FINGERS IN THE AIR.

J.R.: "It's hard to imagine anyone in the world being a better pure wrestler than this man here and now that he's on SlaughterHouse, the superstars over there have quickly found that out"!

Lawler: "Kurt Angle is a great wrestler, J.R., I don't think there's anyone who would question that, but he's got a big test in front of him tonight"!

AFTER A BIT OF A PAUSE, "THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE HITS AND MATT CRUZ IS BROUGHT OUT TO A PRETTY BIG CHEER.

J.R.: "All his life, Matt Cruz has overcome the odds! Whether it be surviving a drive-by shooting, making the wrestling team at Texas, or winning an NCAA championship, Cruz knows what it's like to be an underdog"!

Lawler: "Well I have to consider him an underdog tonight as well, J.R., but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he wins the match after some of the things we've seen him do in the past"!

J.R.: "This is the third consecutive WrestleMania appearance for Cruz, who defeated Matt Morgan in his WrestleMania debut two years ago".

Inter-divisional Match

Kurt Angle vs. Matt "Madik" Cruz

The intensity in the building began to rise for this one and soon after the bell rang, Angle and Cruz locked up. Angle used a quick arm drag, but Cruz bounced back up and came back with an armdrag himself. They locked up again and Angle used a standing side headlock before whipping Cruz over his body. Angle tried to control Cruz from that position, but Cruz used his legs to scissor the head of Angle and escape his clutches. Angle got up and charged Cruz, but the man who calls himself "Madik" was waiting with an overhead throw. Cruz made the cover but Angle was up at 2. Cruz then rocked Angle into the corner with some overhand rights before whipping him to the far side. Cruz followed in with a clothesline before lifting Angle to his shoulder, looking for a running powerslam. But Angle was able to grab the top rope to prevent it and then he slid off Cruz's back before tripping him up and locking in the ankle lock! Cruz had it well scouted though, rolling to his side and just kicking Angle right in the face with his free leg. Cruz then got up and went for a spear but Angle countered with a kick square in the head. Cruz fell to the mat and Angle again went after the right foot, trying to turn Cruz over. Cruz fought it and was able to use his tremendous leg strength to fling Angle over his head. Cruz came back with a hip toss before whipping Angle to the ropes for an incredible powerslam. Cruz had Angle hooked by the leg and around the neck as referee Jose Mendez got a long 2 count before Angle pushed his way out. Cruz stayed on top of Angle, who still tried all he could to go after the right foot, but after awhile, it seemed to give Cruz too much of an opening. Angle lunged at the foot, but Cruz knocked him back with a big knee to the head followed by a heavy clothesline. But when Cruz went for another clothesline, Angle ducked and hit the Angle Slam! The crowd could sense the end of the match was near, but rather than go for the cover, Angle went to the top rope, looking for a moonsault. Angle got some incredible height on it, but he came down right on the knees of Cruz. Cruz got up and grabbed both legs of Angle, trying to lock in the "Colorado Cloverleaf". But Angle refused to let him turn it over, flinging Cruz across the ring. But when Angle got up, Cruz grabbed him around the head and neck and delivered a jumping bulldog. Cruz then looked over at the turnbuckle and climbed up. He too was looking for a moonsault, but Angle got up and swept his feet out from under him. Angle then climbed up to the middle turnbuckle and grabbed Cruz around the waist, throwing him off with a nasty german suplex! Cruz actually did a flip in mid air and landed face first on the mat! Quickly, Angle got hold of the right foot and slapped on the ankle lock one more time. He had it in good, but Cruz began to will his way to the bottom ring rope. The crowd was cheering Cruz on as he inched closer, but just before he could grab the rope, Angle drug him back to the center of the ring and fell to the mat himself, grapevining the leg. Cruz yelled in pain as it seemed there was no way out of the hold and after taking all the pain he could, Cruz finally tapped out.

Match Time: 8:20

J.R.: "Matt Cruz had no choice but to give it up there, King! Angle had that ankle lock cinched in"!

Lawler: "Cruz fought it all he could, but the pain was too much and now, the gold medalist has defeated the NCAA champion"!

KURT ANGLE's MUSIC PLAYED AND HE LEFT THE RING TO MOSTLY ALL BOOS AS CRUZ USED THE ROPES TO PULL HIMSELF UP. THE APPRECIATIVE CROWD GAVE CRUZ A DESERVED OVATION FOR HIS EFFORTS.

J.R.: "Heck of an effort here for Cruz and although some may question some of Kurt Angle's ways, there can't be much shame in losing to him"!

BACKSTAGE.......

IN THE BACK, TODD GRISHAM IS SHOWN WITH ALL 5 MEMBERS OF ECW AND PAUL HEYMAN.

Todd Grisham: "Okay, I am back here with ECW who has two huge matches still to come tonight. First up, is a flag match and Mister Ramplin, can you talk about your opponent, Jason Oliver"?

J.J. RAMPLIN STEPS FORWARD HOLDING THE BURNED REMAINS OF THE CANADIAN FLAG ECW BURNED A COUPLE WEEKS AGO ON RAMPAGE.

Ramplin: "Well I would start off by saying ladies and gentlemen but I don’t believe that this cesspool known as New Orleans houses either of them, so I have asked for this time to tell you about a story. A story in which you will see the glorious finale unfold right in front of your very eyes in just a few moments".

Ramplin opens a book and you can see the cover, which reads in big gold lettering “JJ Ramplin Vs Jason Oliver”.

Once upon a time there was a stupid Canadian called Jason Oliver and he thought the sun shone out of his ass and that everyone looked up to him like some sort of God. Now one day he acquired some very important gold and very foolishly made an enemy of a man that had the potential to hold the world in his hands, when he denied J.J. Ramplin a shot at that gold, saying that he hadn’t impressed him lately. Well over the next few weeks, Ramplin made it his mission to “persuade” Oliver to give him the match he deserved by breaking him in half with a Ram's Horns and then totally dismantling him with the help of The ManBear Sylvester Terkay. Ramplin was so impressive over this period that he was recruited by The ECW World Champion Joe Corey to join his ECW and Ramplin and Corey tore Oliver and his partner Nemesis apart at a place known only as Code Red, forcing him to take notice and retaliate, blindsiding Ramplin while he was celebrating his fellow ECW member Sylvester Terkay’s victory over Nemesis. This again got Oliver embarrassed as a vicious steel chair shot from Corey laid him out and finally getting through his thick skull that Ramplin wasn’t going to go away that easily and forced him to give The Ram a shot at the gold that he desired so much and this match was to take place at the magical place known as Wrestlemania. With this announced, Ramplin decided to break Oliver mentally after already breaking him physically the last few weeks. That week in the ring, Ramplin took a rag that a lot of people recognize to be the Canadian national flag and set it on fire, sending a major message to the champ and shocking the world in a major way. This forced Jason Oliver to cry and whine to higher forces in order to change the match to a flag match in which Ramplin will have to fight for the flag of ECW and Oliver will fight for the rag of Canada.

Ramplin then closes the book and looks up to the camera.

And that brings us to now, but let me give you stupid people a sneak peak at how the ending will go. By the end of the match, the man that you all cheer for will be laying face down in the middle of that ring a lot lighter as I walk out of this dump the new ECW King Of Cable"!

Grisham: "Okay, and Joe Corey, what about your ECW World title match against Nemesis"?

Joe Corey: "What about it? Do you people out there really think Nemesis stands a chance? I mean, if it wasn't for me offering this title shot to him, he'd be nowhere to be found on tonight's card. But I like how my boy J.J. put it, Nemesis, much like Jason Oliver, will be left lying on the mat as ECW walks out of New Orleans with all the gold".

"COME ON" BY WATERPROOF BLONDE HITS AND SEAN O'HAIRE MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING ALONG WITH DUSTIN KASH TO NUMEROUS BOOS.

Cole: "It's time for the first title match on the PrimeTime side, John, and this is one that promises to be wild from the opening bell"!

JBL: "Well it's got three teams who don't like each other vying for the TWF Tag Team titles, titles that my old tag team partner Ron Simmons and I made famous and titles that these two men feel rightfully belong to them"!

"TNT" BY AC/DC COMES ON NEXT AND THAT BRINGS OUT CHAOS WOLF AND VLAD THE IMPALER. THEY ARE LED BY JAMES MITCHELL AND ARE GREETED BY NOTHING BUT BOOS.

Cole: "Well I'd say the two men who come into this match as champions have an argument with your old team over who made these belts famous, but here's another one of your tag team partners, Vlad the Impaler"!

JBL: "I teamed with that guy back before he turned weird and if you remember, we were tag team of the year once"!

THE CROWD POPS LOUDLY WHEN "BOMBSHELL" BY POWERMAN 5000 PLAYS. STRIFE AND BAHAMUT COME OUT TO SOME LOUD PYRO AND THEY HAVE THEIR TAG TEAM TITLES AROUND THEIR WAISTS.

Cole: "Actually I remember that quite well, but you may be looking at the tag team of all time in the TWF right here"!

JBL: "There is no doubt Strife and Bahamut have made their marks here in the TWF! As four time tag team champions, they are widely considered the best ever! But they're in there with two hungry teams tonight and not only that, but they don't have to be involved in the decision to lose those titles"!

Cole: "Triple threat rules apply in this one but it will also be contested under tornado rules! So simply put, all six men will be in the ring at once and the first man to score a decision wins the titles for his team"!

TWF Tag Team Titles/Triple Threat Tornado Match

Chaos Wolf and Vlad the Impaler w/ James Mitchell vs. The Blood Brothers vs. (c) Strife and Bahamut

As expected, this one was nothing more than an all out brawl. But it appeared as though TWF officials were ready for that as there were two referees, Mickey Henson and Mike Enos, working the match. Early on, The Blood Brothers and the team representing the Army of Darkness, Chaos Wolf and Vlad the Impaler, teamed up for a 4 on 2 advantage over Strife and Bahamut. Chaos Wolf and Dustin Kash were able to get Bahamut down in the corner on one side while Vlad held Strife's right arm up so O'Haire could kick him right in the ribs. Vlad then grabbed Strife and delivered a reverse tornado DDT before going over to help Kash and Wolf put the boots to Bahamut. The champs seemed to be taken out of the equation early, but Sean O'Haire came over and spun Vlad around, nailing him with a right hand. Vlad fired back and the alliance between the two teams challenging for the titles was short lived. Seeing this, Kash and Wolf began trading shots back and forth and as the four men brawled, the champions were able to get back to their feet. Bahamut ran over and clotheslined Dustin Kash before whipping Wolf right into the big boot of Strife. Bahamut then grabbed Vlad and sent him across the ring with a huge beal before Strife dropped a 300+ pound elbow right across his chest. Strife made the cover, but O'Haire broke it up. O'Haire then found himself in between both of the massive tag team champions and they each got a hold of him. But before they could do anything, Kash came from behind with a chop block on Strife. O'Haire then caught Bahamut with a high kick right in the face before knocking him over the top rope with a clothesline. Strife rose up and clotheslined Kash, knocking him to the mat, but when he turned around, Chaos Wolf and Vlad picked him up and dropped him over the top rope with a double stun gun! The ring shook as the 7-footer made impact with the top ring rope. Wolf and Vlad then shot Kash to the ropes but they weren't on the same page as to what they wanted to do and when Vlad dropped his head too soon, Kash kicked him right in the face. O'Haire took Vlad and tossed him over the top rope but Wolf was able to catch Kash with a nasty version of the Diamond Cutter at the same time. Wolf and O'Haire were the only two men standing and they began trading shots. O'Haire won the fist fight, but when he went for a jump kick to the head, Wolf ducked and lifted him up by the legs, driving him into the mat. Wolf then signaled for the "Chaos Driver" but before he could hit it, Strife ran across the ring with a running boot to the head. He made the cover but could only get a 2 count before Kash came flying off the middle turnbuckle with a legdrop to the back of the head of the Locomotive. O'Haire then pulled a dazed Wolf up and lifted him onto his shoulders, delivering the "Widowmaker". He made the cover and Vlad tried to come in to prevent the 3 count, but Kash ran and knocked him off the apron with a forearm as Mike Enos pounded the mat for a count of 3.

Match Time: 4:02

Cole: "The Blood Brothers have won it! They've reclaimed the Tag Team Titles"!

JBL: "I said it all along, Michael, these two men wanted to prove that they were the worthy owners of those Tag Team championships and they just did"!

"COME ON" PLAYED AGAIN AND THE BLOOD BROTHERS CELEBRATED IN THE RING WHILE STRIFE AND BAHAMUT JUST LOOKED ON FROM THE FLOOR, UPSET OVER THE LOSS.

Cole: "And like you stated before the match, Strife and Bahamut didn't have to be involved in the decision to lose the titles"!

JBL: "These two men just went through two of the best teams in TWF history and from now on, when people talk about the best tag teams in TWF history, next to the Acolytes and Strife and Bahamut should be the name the Blood Brothers"!

J.R.: "Great action there, King, as we go from one title match to another"!

THE RING IS SHOWN WITH THE CANADIAN FLAG ATTACHED TO ONE POLE EXTENDING FROM A TURNBUCKLE AND RIGHT ACROSS FROM IT, ANOTHER POLE EXTENDS FROM THE STEEL POST AND CONTAINS A BLACK FLAG WITH THE ECW LOGO AFFIXED ON IT.

Lawler: "And this one is gonna be personal, J.R."!

THE CAMERA FOCUSES ON A DARK SECTION OF THE ARENA WHICH IS ABOUT FIFTEEN FEET TO THE RIGHT OF THE WRESTLEMANIA SET.

SUDDENLY, "MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI KICKS UP AND THE FANS REACT WITH BOOS. THERE IS HOWEVER A SMALL PORTION OF THE CROWD CHANTING "ECW". J.J. RAMPLIN STEPS OUT FROM THE DARK CORNER OF THE ARENA WITH A VERY DETERMINED LOOK ON HIS FACE.

J.R.: "The object of this match will be simple.... incapacitate your opponent so that you can climb the pole and retrieve your flag"!

Lawler: "And we all know how this match was set up, J.R.! Who can ever forget ECW burning the Canadian flag in Calgary"?!

THE FANS COME TO THEIR FEET, CHEERING IN UNISON WHEN "SUPERSTAR" BY SALIVA COMES ON AND JASON OLIVER STEPS OUT, CARRYING NOT ONLY HIS KING OF CABLE TITLE, BUT ALSO A FLAMETHROWER!

J.R.: "It is something I will never forget and here comes the champion"!

Lawler: "It's obviously something Jason Oliver hasn't put behind him either..... he's got a flamethrower"!

J.R.: "Well I think we both know what he'd like to do with that, but back on the November 13th edition of Rampage last year, these two men were involved in a King of the Ring qualifying match that night that turned into the match of 2006"!

Lawler: "J.J. Ramplin came up on the short end of things that night, J.R., and ever since, he's wanted another crack at the man who calls himself the King of Sting"!

J.R.: "First man who gets his flag first walks out of here with the King of Cable title and a ton of bragging rights"!

TWF King of Cable Title/Flag Match

Challenger: J.J. "The Ram" Ramplin vs. Jason Oliver

The atmosphere in the stadium was electric as Oliver stepped through the ropes. Referee Jim Korderas grabbed his King of Cable title and held it up for the crowd to see, adding to the big fight feeling this match had. Oliver seemed to be holding any anger he had back, trying to wrestle a smart match. Ramplin came at him but Oliver sidestepped him and punched him right in the side of the head. Ramplin attempted to go in again, but Oliver repeated the move with a snap jab to the head. Ramplin threw a clothesline, but Oliver ducked and picked him up for an inverted atomic drop. He then shot him to the corner his flag was in and ran in. Ramplin mistakenly shot him over his head and Oliver landed on the top turnbuckle. Oliver took a quick swipe at the Canadian flag but missed it and Ramplin grabbed him by the back of the tights, yanking him to the mat. Ramplin then began to put the boots to Oliver, stomping away at his head and chest before grabbing his right arm and yanking at it, pulling it right out of the socket. Oliver tried to fire back with his left hand but came nowhere close to connecting and Ramplin then dropped the arm over the top rope before pounding Oliver with a clothesline. Seeing an oppurtunity, Ramplin decided it was time to make his first attempt to go and get the ECW flag. Ramplin got to the middle turnbuckle before Oliver came from behind with a backdrop suplex, dumping The Ram right on his head. Oliver then began to soften up the back, targeting the lower lumbaric region of Ramplin. After a pendulum backbreaker, Oliver locked in a bow and arrow in the middle of the ring. Ramplin yelled in pain, but never gave in. Oliver released the hold before going to the corner, eyeing the flag of his homeland. He began to go after it, but Ramplin came and pushed his feet out, sending Oliver crashing to the floor! Oliver hit his right knee on the floor very hard and Ramplin was quick to capitalize, ramming him face first into the steel ring steps before pulling him up and dropping him throat first over the guardrail. It looked like a perfect oppurtunity for Ramplin to retrieve the ECW flag, but instead he grabbed the flamethrower that Oliver came out with. But seeing this, a flame was lit inside Oliver and he charged at Ramplin, grabbing him and driving him right into the ring apron. After whipping Ramplin right into the ring steps, Oliver rolled him into the ring and decided it was time to take advantage of the no disqualification rules this match presented. He came back into the ring with a steel chair and took a wild swing at Ramplin but missed and Ramplin hit the ropes, catching him with the Ram's Horns! Ramplin was slow to get up himself though and when he did, he grabbed the steel chair. But before he could use it, Oliver tripped him up with a back footsweep and then somehow put him in a rear naked choke! He was literally choking Ramplin out, but the effects of the Ram's Horns were still lingering as he let go of the hold. Ramplin was out as the crowd encouraged Oliver to go for the flag. Oliver made it over to the corner and began to climb. But just as he was about to get the flag, Ramplin regained conciousness and came up after him. Both men were on the top rope, battling it out. After a punch that looked a little low, Ramplin grabbed Oliver by the back of the head and rammed him face first into the steel pole that held the Canadian flag. Oliver fell to the mat and when he got up, Ramplin came off the top rope with a flying spear! A flying version of the Ram's Horns had put Ramplin in position to win the match and he got up, making his way to his flag. The crowd was in shock, yelling for Oliver to get up. But Ramplin climbed up the pole and pulled down the black ECW flag, sounding the ring bell.

Match Time: 11:17

Lawler: "He got the flag! J.J. Ramplin has won it"!

J.R.: "I can't believe it, King! Jason Oliver has lost it all here at WrestleMania and what an unfortunate turn of events for him"!

"MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED AND THE FANS WERE STILL IN SHOCK OVER WHAT HAD JUST HAPPENED AS JIMMY KORDERAS HANDED J.J. RAMPLIN THE KING OF CABLE TITLE AND WITH ALL THE ENERGY HE HAD LEFT, HE RAISED IT HIGH IN THE AIR.

Lawler: "You have to give this young kid credit though, J.R.! This may've been the coming out party for J.J. Ramplin"!

J.R.: "Truly a great match but in the end, ECW has gained even more power, at least for the moment"!

BACKSTAGE..... DRESSING ROOM......

HIGH OCTANE IS SHOWN IN HIS DRESSING ROOM AND A REFEREE SHIRT HANGS IN AN OPEN LOCKER WHEN SHAWN MICHAELS COMES IN TO A BIG CHEER.

Shawn Michaels: "Hey man......

High Octane: "Ah, look who it is, it's the Heartbreak Kid himself, live and in color".

Michaels: "Damion, I didn't come here for trouble, just a little advice. Remember when you told me you didn't want to see me back in the TWF until the old Shawn Michaels was around"?

High Octane: "Yeah".

Michaels: "Okay, I've done that. And I also know who the real Damion West is. All I'm saying is go out there and help Travis Wakeman versus Money Mike be the biggest match in TWF history, by calling it down the middle! Don't do something stupid because of Muhammad Hassan"!

WEST AND MICHAELS STARE AT EACH OTHER FOR A FEW MOMENTS BEFORE MICHAELS LEAVES THE ROOM.

J.R.: "It's hard to say what's on the mind of Damion West tonight, King".

Lawler: "Well we just heard what Shawn Michaels thinks but will he take his mentor's advice"?

J.R.: "That is the million dollar question at this point, what role will High Octane play in tonight's main event? Now, it's been several weeks since the TWF entered into a working partnership with the UFC and tonight, we make more WrestleMania history so let's send it over to Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan".

JUST OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE SET, THE OCTAGON IS SHOWN AND INSIDE IS A LOVELY RING GIRL HOLDING UP A SIGN WITH THE WRESTLEMANIA LOGO ON ONE SIDE AND THE UFC LOGO ON THE OTHER. THAT GIRL IS REVEALED TO BE KELLY.

Mike Goldberg: "Thank you, J.R., and folks, we cannot express how exciting it is to be a part of WrestleMania here tonight, this is unbelievable"!

VITOR BELFORT IS SHOWN ENTERING THE CAGE.

Joe Rogan: "There's no doubt about that, Mike, and there you see Vitor Belfort, who definitely has the chance to play spoiler here tonight"!

Goldberg: "I don't know how wise a choice it was for Ken Shamrock to accept this fight with Belfort. Belfort does hold wins over Randy Couture and Tank Abbott in his career"!

KEN SHAMROCK's OLD MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT THROWING HIS FISTS IN A BLACK AND RED ROBE.

Rogan: "Ken Shamrock was of course inducted into the TWF Hall of Fame this weekend, but there's no question that he could be put into the UFC Hall of Fame".

Goldberg: "One of the all-time greats without a doubt, but he'll have to stay away from the quick hands and surprisingly strong submission skills that the man from Rio de Janeiro, Belfort, possesses".

Rogan: "Well let's not forget about the submission skills of Shamrock, Mike, they are top of the line"!

Goldberg: "Big John McCarthy will see tonight's fight, scheduled for three rounds"!

UFC Fight

Ken Shamrock vs. Vitor Belfort

First Round: The fighters came to the center of the Octagon and McCarthy asked both men "Are you ready"? Shamrock and Belfort then moved in on each other, looking for their spot. Belfort tried to attack with some short kicks but Shamrock grabbed his right foot and went for a takedown but Belfort caught him with an elbow in the side of the head, stunning Shamrock. Belfort then kicked him twice in the body and began to dominate the fight. Shamrock was in full defense as Belfort teed off on him with rights and lefts. Shamrock threw a jab here and there to show he was still in the fight, but Belfort began to punish him and after a kick to the ribs, he took Shamrock down with a double leg. Belfort threw a lot of punches from the top position, but Shamrock was able to squirm free and he pushed Belfort away. But with about 10 seconds left in the round, Belfort connected with a right-left combo that knocked Shamrock back, wobbling his legs. Shamrock threw a punch that missed everything as the round came to an end, a round that was all Belfort.

Goldberg: "Things aren't looking good here for Shamrock, he took a beating in that round".

Rogan: "Shamrock has got to make Belfort come inside and go for the takedown, Shamrock's not gonna win this fight in the stand up".

Round 2: Round 2 starts and Belfort tries to take Shamrock out quickly, looking to capitalize on the punishment he dealt in round one. He grabbed Shamrock by the back of the head and got in a nasty knee to the face and now, Shamrock was cut open just above the eye. Belfort threw a knockout right hand but Shamrock avoided it and tried to sweep Belfort to the mat. But Belfort blocked it and took Shamrock down with sheer power. Belfort then tried to get control of the right arm of Shamrock, trying to lock in some sort of submission. But Shamrock was able to get his legs around the head and neck of Belfort before pulling his right arm through. The fans loudly cheered, realizing Shamrock had the triangle on and almost immediately, Belfort tapped out.

Result: Shamrock by submission @ 1:23 of Round 2

Rogan: "Wow, that is an amazing win there for Ken Shamrock! I don't think anyone here can believe he just did that"!

Goldberg: "That was a classic example of a fighter dominating a fight and making one mistake to cost himself".

AFTER SHAMROCK WAS ANNOUNCED THE WINNER, HE AND BELFORT SHOOK HANDS AND SHOWED EACH OTHER RESPECT AS THE CROWD CHEERED.

Rogan: "If I'm Shamrock, I'm thanking my lucky stars for that one".

Goldberg: "A great fight for both men and as Jim Ross said earlier, history has been made here at WrestleMania"!

Cole: "What'd ya think of that, John"?!

JBL: "It looked like that guy from Brazil was gonna hand Ken Shamrock his lunch but Shamrock once again showed how tough he is by virtually beating him with the only offensive move he had in that fight"!

"LIT UP" BY BUCKCHERRY COMES ONAND AXL IRVIN COMES OUT WITH TRACI BROOKS TO PRETTY MUCH NOTHING BUT BOOS.

Cole: "This next match has been billed as a special attraction and it's sure to be special alright"!

JBL: "Axl Irvin is coming out here with the chance of a lifetime! This is not for any titles, or any way awards, but if Axl can defeat the legendary Texas Rattlesnake tonight, it'll be just as sweet"!

Cole: "Traci Brooks revealed to the world that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is her all time favorite wrestler, and Axl became a little perturbed by that, making a challenge to Austin. But then he took it one step further with the parody he did on the last edition of PrimeTime, which was anything but funny"!

JBL: "To who?! I thought it was hilarious"!

AFTER A BRIEF PAUSE, THE SOUND OF BREAKING GLASS IS HEARD AND STONE COLD's MUSIC PLAYS BEFORE HE APPEARS TO EASILY THE LOUDEST CHEER ALL NIGHT.

Cole: "Listen to the SuperDome erupt! This is amazing"!

JBL: "This building has housed Super Bowls..... it's housed NCAA Final Fours but I don't know if there's ever been an ovation like this one"!

Cole: "You bring up a good point, John, the SuperDome has seen some greats and.......

JBL: "Joe Montana threw five touchdowns in this building! The dynasty of the New England Patriots started in this building and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is tearing the house down just with his appearance"!

AUSTIN WENT TO EACH CORNER, RAISING THE DOUBLE MIDDLE FINGERS TO EVEN BIGGER CHEERS.

Cole: "What does this do to the psyche of Axl Irvin? What must he be thinking right now"?!

JBL: "Axl's gotta calm the nerves, forget about who he's in there with and maybe just look out into the beautiful face of Traci, whatever it takes to settle himself in and take the fight to a guy who, let's face it, hasn't competed on the active roster here for years"!

Axl Irvin w/ Traci Brooks vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

Axl tried to come at Austin right away, throwing a right hand but Austin blocked it and knocked Axl back with 3 right hands of his own. After dropping Axl in the corner, Austin stomped relentlessly on his chest, forcing referee Mike Chioda to pull him off. Austin was showing no signs of ring rust, especially when he took Axl down with the Thesz Press when he got up. Austin was all over Axl, pounding him with right hands to the head before getting up and flipping him off. Austin then hit the ropes and went for his Bionic elbow but Axl was able to roll out of the way, probably the only thing that prevented him from going down to defeat in record fashion. Axl was able to regroup, kicking Austin in the midsection before going after Austin's historically problematic neck. Axl had one hand on his chin and one hand on the back of the neck, wrenching it as awkwardly as he could. Austin tried to work his way out of it, but Axl snapmared him and then kicked him right in the back of the head. From there, Axl got down in a front facelock, grounding the Rattlesnake. Using all his weight to apply pressure, Axl was really sapping the energy from Austin. But a massive "Austin" chant broke out and Stone Cold got back to a vertical base, punching Axl 3 times in the gut. He then hit the ropes but Axl scored with a great dropkick. He made the cover, but Austin kicked out at 2. Axl pulled him up and pushed Austin into the corner, rocking him with shots to the head and body. It was all Austin could do to defend himself, but most of the punches were still finding their mark. Axl then backed up a few steps and ran in, kicking Austin square in the mouth. Almost wanting to prove a point to Traci, Axl held Austin's head over the ropes. He then distracted Chioda, waiting for Traci to slap Austin across the face but for whatever reason, she couldn't bring herself to do it. Axl did not seem happy about this, but he hit the ropes and jumped on the back of Austin's neck. Austin fell backwards to the mat and Axl dropped a big leg across his throat, covering him for another 2 count. Axl pulled Austin up and continued to take the fight to him. He then decided it was time for the "Axl Cutter". But Austin slipped free and kicked Axl in the gut, looking for the Stunner. But Axl pushed him to the ropes and drilled him with a spinning wheel kick to the head. After using both hands to choke Austin, Axl pulled him up and delivered a move Austin has felt before, the Rock Bottom! Axl went into the cover and got the 1........2........., but that was all. Axl began to get a little frustrated, wondering what it would take to put the Rattlesnake away. Axl pulled Austin to the center of the ring, kicking him in the stomach and then he actually tried to use the Stunner on the man who invented the move, but Austin came up with the same counter Axl had earlier, pushing him to the ropes before picking him up and dropping him over the top rope with the Stun Gun, a move he used many years ago to win matches. Axl got up and Austin was waiting with 2 middle fingers before kicking him in the gut and hitting the Stunner! Austin quickly covered Axl, hooking the leg as Chioda issued the 1......2........3.

Match Time: 11:01

Cole: "Stone Cold Stunner! Austin just turned Axl's lights out with that"!

JBL: "And if I'm not mistaken, Steve Austin just reminded Traci Brooks why he was her favorite wrestler, but she can't like the circumstances it came under"!

Cole: "This will go down as Austin's fourth career WrestleMania victory, but boy did he have to work to earn it"!

JBL: "Axl Irvin gave him all he could handle, but the Rattlesnake was up to the test"!

BACKSTAGE......

CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW JOE COREY AND PAUL HEYMAN AGGRESSIVELY MARCHING DOWN THE HALL WHEN THEY RUN INTO MONEY MIKE AND STEPHANIE McMAHON. MIKE AND COREY STARE EACH OTHER DOWN FOR A MOMENT.

Money Mike: "Good luck out there.... champ".

Joe Corey: "Same to you..... champ".

COREY AND HEYMAN WALK BY AS BOTH MIKE AND STEPH CRACK A SMILE.

BACK INSIDE THE STADIUM, THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND A MIXTURE OF SOUNDS IS HEARD FROM THE CROWD. MOMENTS LATER, A SPOTLIGHT SHINES IN THE ENTRY WAY AND A DARK FIGURE IS STANDING THERE RIGHT AS "IN MY DARKEST HOUR" BY MEGADEATH PLAYS AND NEMESIS MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE RAMP TO A BIG CHEER.

J.R.: "Known for years as the tormented soul of the TWF, Nemesis fights tonight for the right to call himself a World champion"!

Lawler: "Is tonight the night for Nemesis? That's one of the biggest questions we had going into this event, J.R.".

J.R.: "Nemesis reigned as the champion of SlaughterHouse for a record amount of time. And now that he's back on Rampage, he takes on an old nemesis, no pun intended".

CAMERAS AGAIN FOCUS ON THE DARK CORNER OF THE ARENA THAT J.J. RAMPLIN ENTERED THROUGH EARLIER AND SECONDS LATER, "MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI COMES ON AGAIN AND PAUL HEYMAN PUSHES HIS WAY THROUGH THE CURTAIN, FOLLOWED BY JOE COREY, WHO HAS THE ECW WORLD TITLE STRAPPED TO HIS WAIST. BOOS FOLLOW THE TANDEM AS THEY MAKE THEIR WAY THROUGH THE SEA OF HUMANITY, ON THEIR WAY TO THE RING.

Lawler: "Nemesis is about the only thing standing in the way of this being one of the biggest nights in the history of the new ECW"!

J.R.: "They already have the King of Cable title under their control and now, Joe Corey has the chance to do exactly what he said he would do..... beat Nemesis at WrestleMania"!

Lawler: "Well we know that Corey is not afraid of losing this match, heck, it was he who offered the title shot to him in the first place"!

J.R.: "Well like the old saying goes, King, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it"!

ECW World Title Match

Challenger: Nemesis vs. "The Show" Joe Corey w/ Paul Heyman

Corey and Nemesis went right after it, trading shots in the middle of the ring. Corey was swinging up at the massive challenger and the first few moments of the match were very reminiscent to their battle for the KOC Title back at the 2005 Royal Rumble. Corey tried to pick Nemesis up for a shinbreaker, but Nemesis just belted him in the back of the head with a forearm before lifting Corey up on his shoulder and delivering a snake eyes. Nemesis then hit the ropes, looking for a running boot but Corey immediately went low on his right knee. Nemesis fell to the mat after the knee buckled and he was in an incredible amount of pain. With the 7-footer on the mat, Corey was all over Nemesis, staying on the knee and lower back. The crowd tried to get behind Nemesis, but Corey was just picking him apart. Nemesis used the ropes to pull himself him, but Corey kicked him right in the back of the legs, knocking him right back down. Corey then picked Nemesis up and dropped him across his knee with a side backbreaker. Corey was in complete control and Heyman was loving it. Corey then pulled Nemesis up by his hair and although he could barely stand, Nemesis fought back, rocking Corey with his soup bone right hands. Corey swung back with one of his own, but Nemesis took the shot and came back with a nasty headbutt. He then scooped Corey up but the weight was too much and his knee just gave out. Corey then grabbed the legs of Nemesis and locked in The Cage right in the center of the ring. Nemesis wasn't going anywhere, but he fought the pain valiantly. Heyman screamed for Corey to put on more pressure, and the ECW champ pulled back on the hold with all he had. Referee Scott Martin got down and told Nemesis, "If I don't get an answer, I'll ask for the bell! What do you say"?! When Nemesis refused to answer, Martin asked for the bell, giving the match to Corey.

Match Time: 5:47

J.R.: "And that's it! Referee Scott Martin has made the decision that Nemesis is done and Corey has retained the ECW World title"!

Lawler: "The referee didn't decide he was done, Nemesis decided he was done, he just didn't want to admit it"!

"MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED AGAIN AND HEYMAN CAME IN, HANDING THE ECW TITLE BELT BACK TO COREY. CAMERAS SHOWED THE REST OF THE ECW FACTION STANDING IN THE DARK ENTRANCE, APPLAUDING THEIR CHAMPION. WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER, J.J. RAMPLIN WAVED THE BLACK FLAG OF ECW.

J.R.: "Nemesis may have suffered a severe injury to that right knee, but he wouldn't give up! Something has to be said for that"!

Lawler: "Yeah, and something also has to be said for ECW.... they've had a tremendous night here in New Orleans"!

J.R.: "Well up next, we've got the WrestleMania Jackpot match, a first of it's kind here in the TWF, and JBL, looks like you and I have the honors for it"!

JBL: "It sure does, and I don't know why, Michael Cole and I should call the match ourselves because five out of the six guys in it are from our show, PrimeTime"!

"MY NAME IS FINLAY.... AND I LOVE TO FIGHT" IS HEARD AND FINLAY MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING, CARRYING HIS SHILLELAGH.

J.R.: "Six men all vying for one thing.... that briefcase that hangs above the ring"!

CHRIS MASTERS' MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A HOARD OF BOOS.

JBL: "And here comes the guy with the million dollar body and the pea sized brain! Hey Masters, do you even know how to climb a ladder"?!

BOBBY LASHLEY's MUSIC COMES ON AND HE COMES OUT TO ONE OF THE NIGHT's BIGGER REACTIONS.

J.R.: "You talk about million dollar bodies, this guy definitely has one"!

JBL: "But my point is, no matter how good these guys look, no matter how strong they are, it's not gonna help them in this kind of match"!

"YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME" IS HEARD AND LEADS INTO "METALINGUS" BY ALTER BRIDGE AND EDGE POPS OUT TO A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF HEAT WITH THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST.

J.R.: "Well as much as I hate to say it, this guy right here has to be the favorite in the match"!

JBL: "If I was a betting man, which I am, I'd put my money on Edge"!

"THIS FIRE BURNS" BY KILLSWITCH ENGAGE COMES ON AND CM PUNK STEPS OUT TO AN ENERGETIC REACTION.

J.R.: "Boy I wish we had this kid on Rampage! CM Punk, making his WrestleMania debut, just may be the crowd favorite"!

JBL: "I like everything about CM Punk other than the fact that he cares too much about what these people think! I guarantee that's what will end up costing him tonight"!

THE CROWD GOES CRAZY WHEN "ONE OF A KIND" BY BREAKING POINT HITS AND ROB VAN DAM COMES OUT, FOLLOWED BY A HUGE PYRO DISPLAY.

J.R.: "Well, JBL, you referred to the fact that Rampage only had one representative in this match and I'm damn proud that it's this guy! If there's one guy I'd like to have on my side when I went to war.......

JBL: "Let me just cut you off right there with all this sentimental crap! If the boys from PrimeTime are smart, they'll team up to take out RVD right away"!

WrestleMania Jackpot

Finlay vs. Chris Masters vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Intercontinental Champion Edge vs. CM Punk vs. Rob Van Dam

As the bell sounded, all 6 men looked around, trying to decide how to approach things. 3 ladders stood outside the ring, just short of the entrance ramp. Finlay made the first move, catching CM Punk off guard with a right hand. As they planned earlier, Edge and Masters worked together, going after Bobby Lashley. But as they did, RVD snuck out of the ring and grabbed a ladder. He was going to bring it in, but Edge took him out with a baseball slide. Outside the ring, Edge picked up the ladder and drove the base of it right into RVD's sternum. But when Edge turned around with the ladder, Finlay grabbed the other end and spun around, sending Edge hard into the ring steps. Finlay then threw the ladder into the ring and climbed back in. But when he went to set it up, CM Punk dove at the ladder, dropkicking it right into the shin of Finlay! Hopping around on one foot, Finlay screamed in pain. Punk then picked up the ladder and set it up, only to be clotheslined by Masters. Masters became the first man to take a chance up the ladder. But halfway up, RVD came off the top rope with a flying martial arts kick that knocked the ladder over and sent the Masterpiece crashing into the ring ropes. Bobby Lashley had recovered and he began to single handedly take over the match. After a clothesline on Finlay, he threw Punk over the top rope and to the floor with a hip toss before getting RVD up on his shoulders for his running powerslam. The crowd was behind Lashley as he set the ladder back up, but Masters got up and pushed the ladder over, sending Lashley crashing to the mat. Outside the ring, Edge was busy stacking two tables on top of each other and as soon as he did, he slid a second ladder into the ring. Edge came in and pulled RVD in for the "Edge-a-cution" before setting the second ladder up, positioning it right under the briefcase. Edge then began to go up and it looked like he might bring a quick end to the match. But just as he got his fingertips on the case, CM Punk slingshotted himself from the top ring rope right at Edge, landing on the other side of the ladder! The crowd was amazed by this but before Punk could do anything, his momentum was enough to knock the ladder over. Finlay got up and he had a nasty gash on the front of his shin, but he also had his shillelagh in hand. He whacked Masters in the back of the head with it before smacking RVD in the right leg. After popping Lashley with the weapon, Finlay began to climb the ladder. But Lashley got up and began climbing the ladder on the other side. Finlay actually grabbed the briefcase, nearly unhooking it but Lashley punched him in the gut and tried to throw him off. As the two struggled atop the ladder, Chris Masters got up and pushed the ladder forward, sending both Finlay and Lashley crashing through the stack of tables that Edge had set up! Edge loved what he saw, until he saw Masters going up the other ladder. Edge urged Masters to stop his climb, but Masters explained he was about to get the briefcase. CM Punk came in and grabbed Edge for the Uranagi, but Masters left the ladder to prevent the move, clubbing Punk in the back of the head. Edge had left the ring and he came back in with a steel chair. After seeing what Masters had done to Punk, Edge waited for him to turn his back and then, Edge smacked Masters in the back of the head, cracking him open badly! But Edge didn't get too far, bringing the chair up for a split second which allowed RVD to connect with the Vandaminator! The crowd loved it, as most of the "Holy Shit" chants were still resenating throughout the SuperDome from Finlay and Lashley going through the table. RVD then saw his chance, going up the ladder. But CM Punk decided to go up the other side, and the fight was on. Punk and RVD traded shots until Edge used a steel chair to bash the legs of RVD, knocking him off the ladder. Edge then went up with Punk, trying to get him off as they both took swipes at the briefcase. They were up on the ladder together on the same side and Edge looked like he was trying to bring him off with the Downward Spiral. But Punk held the top rung of the ladder to block it before catching Edge with a vicious knee to the head that knocked him to the mat, out cold. The fans were going wild as Punk had his oppurunity, but a bleeding Masters came up the other side, behind Punk, and locked in the "Masterlock" on the ladder! Punk couldn't fight it, and after wearing him down, Masters let go of the hold and Punk was sent crashing to the mat. There was nothing stopping the Masterpiece now, and he took one more step up the ladder before snatching the briefcase to win the match!

Match Time: 27:09

J.R.: "My God what a match! Chris Masters may look like the most unlikely winner of all time right now, because he's gonna need several staples to close that wound in his head"!

JBL: "I am utterly shocked, J.R.! Now, Masters has to use that pea sized brain of his to choose when he will excercise what he just won"!

CHRIS MASTERS' MUSIC PLAYED AND MOST ALL OF THE CROWD BOOED. BUT HE HAD THE BRIEFCASE CLUTCHED TIGHT AGAINST HIS BODY AND HE LEFT THE RING IN A HURRY WITH IT AS CAMERAS SURVEYED THE CARNAGE AT RINGSIDE.

J.R.: "Well what he's won is a guaranteed title shot good for the TWF World, Universal, or SlaughterHouse version of the heavyweight title, which can be used anytime between now and WrestleMania nine"!

JBL: "Just amazing, J.R., out of all the guys in this match, he had to be the biggest longshot"!

JUST THEN, VINCE McMAHON COMES OUT OF AN ADJACENT ROOM WITH A GLASS OF WINE IN HAND.

Shane: "Dad..... what are you doing here"?

Vince McMahon: "Well, it's WrestleMania, Shane. Not only that, but I'm here taking care of some business.... let's just put it that way".

Shane: "Okay...... well good seein' ya".

SHANE WALKS AWAY AS ORTON, HASSAN AND VINCE SHARE A LAUGH.

Cole: "Coming up next, John, is what we are calling the Franchise versus the Heartbreak Kid".

JBL: "This is truly a match between two of the all time greats! I personally can't wait"!

Cole: "Let's take a closer look at what has led Jordan Rockwell and Shawn Michaels here to New Orleans tonight"!

A VIDEO PACKAGE AIRS OF JORDAN ROCKWELL AND HIS PHYSICAL ALTERCATIONS WITH CHAOS WOLF AND VLAD THE IMPALER. "PRELUDE 12/21" BY AFI COMES ON AS THE FOOTAGE SHOWS JORDAN ROCKWELL FINDING A PARTNER TO HELP HIM BATTLE WOLF AND VLAD, THAT PARTNER..... SHAWN MICHAELS. FROM THERE, ROCKWELL GETS INTO ANOTHER BRAWL WITH WOLF AND VLAD. MICHAELS COMES OUT TO HELP AND THROWS A SUPERKICK AT CHAOS WOLF, BUT DRILLS ROCKWELL WITH IT WHEN WOLF MOVES. JBL: "It's been a long time since we've seen this at WrestleMania, Michael, and he looks ready"!

Cole: "This is without a doubt one of the biggest matches in the history of WrestleMania! Easily two of the top performers this industry has ever seen set to go one on one"!

MICHAELS' MUSIC STOPS AND SECONDS LATER, THE PLACE EXPLODES AS "BACK IN BLACK" BY AC/DC COMES ON AND JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES OUT AND IS MET WITH A WILD RESPONSE.

JBL: "Until last year, this man had never had a blemish on his WrestleMania record and on that night, he faced another legend in our business and got the loser's share of the purse money! Will lightning strike twice tonight"?!

Cole: "This match has been highly anticipated because it features two of the more gifted superstars we've ever witnessed! Michaels and Rockwell have a strong mutual respect for one another, but that all goes out the window for this match"!

Shawn Michaels vs. Jordan Rockwell

The bell sounded and the two men circled each other to start the match. Rockwell got down low, trying to anticipate Michaels' first strike. Finally, Michaels moved in with a couple right hands but Rockwell ducked and grabbed him around the waist. Michaels turned it into a standing side headlock but Rockwell pushed him to the ropes on the near side and shot him in, knocking him down with a shoulder tackle. Rockwell then hit the ropes but Michaels let him pass before springing up and drilling him with a dropkick. Rockwell rolled out of the ring, holding his mouth but Michaels gave him no time to recover, flying at him with a suicide dive through the ropes. Michaels got up easily and even did a little dance for the raucous crowd. Michaels pulled Rockwell up and rolled him into the ring, getting back in himself. But Michaels seemed to get a little too cocky and as he went into the D-X crotch chop, Rockwell tripped him up and got him in the STF. Michaels was in a lot of trouble, but Rockwell didn't have the hold in as well as he could and Michaels was able to get to the ring ropes to earn a break. But Rockwell took almost all of referee Charles Robinson's five count before breaking it. Rockwell was in control of the match at this point and after a scoop slam, he hit the ropes for a big elbow drop. A cover was made, but Michaels rolled his right arm off the mat at the count of 2. Rockwell picked him up, keeping the pressure on with a big suplex. But again, his cover only got him a 2 count. Rockwell tried to step up the pace, shooting Michaels to the ropes, but he missed with a clothesline and Michaels scored with a flying forearm. After nipping up, Michaels quickly went for the superkick but Rockwell avoided it and picked Michaels up, dumping him right on his head and neck. Again, Rockwell resorted to his STF, trying to earn a submission. But again, the will of the Heartbreak Kid perservered as he reached out for the bottom rope, grabbing it. Again, Robinson reached about 4 and a half before Rockwell let go. Robinson gave Rockwell a stern warning but Rockwell went at Michaels while he was trying to get up, blasting him with haymakers to either side of the head. Finally, Robinson was forced to pull Rockwell off. Robinson screamed a warning at Rockwell and Rockwell shoved Robinson aside and never saw what was coming...... the Sweet Chin Music! The kick sent an echo through the huge stadium and Michaels fell into the cover, hooking the leg for the 1........2........3!

Match Time: 8:50

Cole: "The Sweet Chin Music has found it's mark! Shawn Michaels has picked up a career defining win"!

JBL: "The competitive juices were flowing inside the franchise but unfortunately for him, they were flowing a little too much and Shawn Michaels knocked his lights out"!

SHAWN MICHAELS WENT FOR A HANDSHAKE, BUT A DISAPPOINTED ROCKWELL JUST LEFT THE RING AS "SEXY BOY" HIT AGAIN AND THE CROWD BURSTED INTO CHEERS.

Cole: "Rockwell is obviously not happy over the result here, but it's HBK's time to shine"!

JBL: "C'mon, Rockwell! Suck it up and shake the man's hand! Admit that he was the better man tonight"!

BACKSTAGE......

MARIA IS SHOWN IN THE BACK WITH CHRIS MASTERS, WHO HAS A LARGE BANDAGE OVER HIS HEAD. HE's STILL CLUTCHING THE BRIEFCASE AS IF IT WERE A SMALL CHILD.

Maria: "Chris Masters, you just won a guaranteed title shot that you can use any time over the next year. Any idea what you'll do with that"?

Chris Masters: "Yeah, like I'm gonna tell you that, Maria. The only thing that is for certain right now, is that the Masterpiece hit the jackpot at WrestleMania"!

MASTERS HOLDS UP THE BRIEFCASE WITH A BIG SMILE ON HIS FACE AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING.

BACK AT RINGSIDE, "THE TIME IS NOW" COMES ON AND JOHN CENA COMES OUT TO A MIXED REACTION. A BALANCED OUTPUT OF BOOS AND CHEERS CAN BE HEARD AS HE MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING, UNPHASED.

Cole: "Who knows, John, maybe the Masterpiece has his eye on the winner of this match"!

JBL: "The biggest prize PrimeTime has to offer, the Universal title on the line right now and it is a match I can't wait to see"!

Cole: "For years, John Cena and Randy Orton were looked at as the top two young prospects the TWF had to offer and tonight, that theory has come full circle"!

BOOS FILL THE SUPERDOME AS "BURN IN MY LIGHT" PLAYS AND RANDY ORTON EMERGES FROM THE BACK WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. THE USUAL FLOW OF GOLD PYRO FALLS DOWN AS ORTON MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING TO PLENTY OF BOOS.

JBL: "Randy Orton is as good as we have seen here, Michael. He's a third generation wrestler who was bred for this, bred to be in the main event at WrestleMania and here he is".

Cole: "John Cena, on the other hand, is the polar opposite. He's been accused of having subpar athletic ability, he's been accused of a lot of things, but he's here and he has a chance to win at WrestleMania for the fourth year in a row"!

JBL: "There was a time when Randy Orton and John Cena were a young, up and coming tag team but that seems like light years ago now".

TWF Universal Title Match

Challenger: John Cena vs. Randy Orton

The fans were on their feet for the first minute or so of this match as Orton and Cena sized each other up. They went in for a collar and elbow tie up and Cena quickly took Orton to the mat with a Ricky Steamboat armdrag which was very impressive. Orton came back with an armdrag of his own, but when he missed with a clothesline, Cena hit the ropes and ran through him with a big clothesline of his own. After dropping Orton crotch first over the top rope, Cena shook the rope before flinging Orton into the ring. Cena went for another clothesline but Orton ducked it and after Cena came off the other side, Orton caught him with that picture perfect dropkick. Orton went for a quick cover, but Cena kicked out at 2. Orton pulled him up and the pace of the match was very quick. Orton slung Cena to the corner and followed in, but Cena caught him coming with another clothesline. After a falling fistdrop, Cena picked Orton up and delivered his spinning sideslam. Cena then called for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle, but most of the crowd booed. Cena hit the ropes but Orton got up and locked in a sleeper hold, a very clever move. But Cena wouldn't let him get it in too good, driving Orton into the corner with all he had. Cena then rocked the champ with right hand after right hand before shooting him to the far corner. Cena flew in with a body splash but Orton moved and Cena actually made contact with the steel post! Cena fell back into a schoolboy and Orton had a handful of his jeans but Cena still kicked out! Orton delivered his swinging leg neckbreaker, a move he once called the O-Zone, and he seemed to have things firmly in control. He sized Cena up for the "RKO", but he felt he need to do a little more damage, drilling the challenger with a stiff European uppercut. Orton then went to the apron and climbed up to the top rope, measuring Cena. Orton came off with a crossbody block but amazingly, Cena caught him in mid air! With an intense look on his face, Cena then flung Orton to his shoulders and all in the same motion, delivered the "F-U", hooking the leg for the 1..........2..........3.

Match Time: 6:28

Cole: "He's done it! We've got a new Universal champion"!

JBL: "Oh now the crowd gets behind him! Listen to this place! Where was this cheer all match"?!

AS "THE TIME IS NOW" PLAYED, CENA GOT HOLD OF THE UNIVERSAL TITLE BELT AND RAISED IT INTO THE AIR TO AN ENORMOUS CHEER.

Cole: "John Cena won the World title at WrestleMania six and now.... two years later, he's won the Universal title"!

JBL: "Truly impressive, Michael, a man cashing in on both his Royal Rumble victories"!

Cole: "John Cena may've just become an instant legend in the TWF! I know that's going far, but what an amazing performance"!

BACKSTAGE......

IN THE BACK, KRISTAL IS STANDING WITH THE TWF WORLD CHAMPION, TRAVIS WAKEMAN. HE HAS THE WORLD TITLE IN HIS RIGHT HAND.

Kristal: "Travis, this is the first live appearance you have made since Code Red last month. In that time, Money Mike has badmouthed you, and physically assaulted your old wrestling coach and even.... your own father. What do you have to say"?

Travis Wakeman: "Kristal, I've said all along that I'd let my actions speak for me and tonight, I'm not changing that approach".

WAKEMAN WALKS AWAY, HEADING TO THE RING.

Lawler: "Money Mike knows what it's like to be at the top of the mountain, J.R., but he wants this win more than anything in his career"!

MONEY MIKE SEEMED TO GET INTO A WAR OF WORDS WITH A RINGSIDE FAN AND MIKE ACTED LIKE HE WAS GOING TO HIT HIM, FORCING THE FAN TO JUMP BACK. MIKE THEN JUST LAUGHED IN THE KID's FACE BEFORE GETTING INTO THE RING.

J.R.: "What a jerk".

Lawler: "Can you feel the anticipation, J.R.? This is great"!

Howard Finkel: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Jazz legend and New Orleans resident, Branford Marsalis"!

TWF World Title Match

Challenger: Money Mike w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. Travis Wakeman w/ Melina

* Special Referee: "High Octane" Damion West

Fans braced themselves as they realized history was being made. Money Mike moved in on Wakeman, but backed off. Wakeman tried to lock up with him, but Mike moved back into the corner, forcing a break. It was clear Money Mike didn't want to get into a mat war with Wakeman, but Wakeman calmly backed off and let Mike step out of the corner. Wakeman tried to lock up again, but this time, Mike flung him into the corner and fired away with a barrage of overhand rights. After a few more punches and a kick to the gut, Mike shot him into the far corner and drilled him with a charging clothesline. It was the challenger who had opened up the match on the offensive and after ramming Wakeman face first into the top turnbuckle, Money Mike delivered a back suplex for a 2 count. Wakeman got to his knees and tried to trip Mike up, but Mike kept his vertical base and caught Wakeman with a vicious knee right to the head. After hitting the ropes, Mike kicked Wakeman right in the side of the head and went for another cover. Although Wakeman was able to get up at 2, the crowd was stunned at how Money Mike was dominating the champion. Mike pulled Wakeman up, but the champ was able to reverse an irish whip and he sent Mike to the corner with authority before lifting him up and spinning around, dropping him face first on the top turnbuckle pad with a snake eyes before hitting the ropes and knocking Mike through the ring ropes and to the floor with a spear in the back. Mike seemed to be in a great deal of pain, but as Wakeman followed him to the floor, Mike got in a punch to the gut before throwing him so hard into the ring steps, it knocked the top half of them off. Mike slid back into the ring to stop special referee Damion West's count, before pulling Wakeman up and rolling him back in. Mike continued to outbrawl the champion, punching and kicking him as if it were a street fight. Mike picked him up and whipped him to the corner again but this time, Wakeman caught him with a back elbow before tripping him up with a double leg and catapulting him into the corner. Wakeman then schoolboyed the challenger for the 1.........2........., but Mike was up! Both men got to their feet and Mike threw a punch, but Wakeman blocked it and came back with 3 slaps to the chest. After a swinging neckbreaker, Wakeman hit the ropes but Stephanie grabbed his foot, nearly tripping him up. This slowed Wakeman down enough for Mike to pick him up and drive him into the mat with a spinebuster, going into the cover for the 1.........2......., but Wakeman was up just in time. Meanwhile, Melina had gone over and tackled Stephanie and the fans were cheering loudly as the catfight went on. But suddenly, Vince McMahon came to the ring and grabbed Melina by the hair before viciously throwing her into the guardrail! Vince then helped his daughter up as High Octane yelled through the ropes, warning Vince not to get involved. Wakeman got to his feet, but Mike lowblowed him and delivered the "Money Pit"! Mike went into the cover to get a long 2 count but the count stopped when Korderas realized Wakeman's foot was on the bottom rope. Mike pulled Wakeman up and threw him over the middle ring rope before getting in the face of West, arguing his count. Vince McMahon had gotten hold of the World title belt and he smashed Wakeman over the head with it. As Wakeman fell back to the mat, Mike came over and covered him again for the 1..............2............, but no, Wakeman got the right shoulder off the mat again! Mike was beside himself as he pulled Wakeman up, looking for a whip to the corner. But Wakeman reversed it, sending Mike in hard. He then grabbed the arm of Money Mike and shot him back and forth from corner to corner 5 times, with more authority on each whip. Mike was grabbing his lower back in pain, but when Wakeman tried to get him up for the "Royal Flush", Mike raked his eyes and then grabbed him for a DDT. But before he could execute it, Wakeman swept his legs out and got him in position for the Sharpshooter. Mike did all he could to prevent Wakeman from turning it over, but he couldn't. The hold was on in the center of the ring and the crowd was going nuts. Vince and Stephanie screamed for Mike to find a way out, but Wakeman even looked in agony as he applied the hold, pulling back as far as he could. Mike tried to find a way to the ropes, but came up short, finally succumbing to the pain and slapping the mat!

Match Time: 16:52

J.R.: "It's all over! It's all over! Travis Wakeman has survived WrestleMania"!

Lawler: "I'm speechless, J.R., that was unbelievable"!

AS "MAKE WAY" PLAYED, VINCE McMAHON GOT INTO THE RING, STILL HOLDING THE WORLD TITLE. WAKEMAN REACHED HIS HAND OUT AND DISGUSTED, VINCE HANDED HIM THE BELT BEFORE LEAVING THE RING. THE CROWD WAS IN A FRENZY AS FIREWORKS POPPED OFF ALL OVER THE SUPERDOME. WAKEMAN THEN WENT OUTSIDE THE RING TO THE FRONT ROW AND FOUND HIS FATHER SITTING A FEW ROWS IN THE CROWD. HIS FATHER GOT UP, SHOOK HIS HAND AND GAVE HIM A HUG. WAKEMAN THEN LET HIM HOLD THE WORLD TITLE AS MELINA STOOD IN THE RING, NEAR TEARS, APPLAUDING.

J.R.: "We are witnessing a WrestleMania moment, folks. Travis Wakeman has done exactly what he said he would do and someone has finally shut the mouth of Money Mike"!

Lawler: "At least for now, Money Mike will be back, but tonight is the night of the Technical Magician"!

J.R.: "We thank you for joining us folks.... oh what a night"!
