Footage is shown showing highlights from the last show's Triple Threat Match between Cody Rhodes, Nails and Matt Cruz, before cutting to Scott Hudson and Matt Striker.

Scott Hudson: "Good evening, ladies and gentleman, and welcome to the first edition of TWF programming in 2018! I'm Scott Hudson, joined tonight with by partner, Matt Striker, and we're here in the Odeum Expo Center, here in Villa Park, Illinois!"

Matt Striker: "That's right, Scott, and man, what a lineup we have tonight! The Women's and Tag Team title tournaments keep on rolling, not to mention the huge main event we have lined up!"

Hudson: "That's right, we'll have both men competing for the TWF Championship in action tonight, as they'll be squaring off against each other in a Tag Team match!"

Striker: "But that's later tonight, Hudson. Right now, we've got a title defense to kick off the show!"

TWF Television Title Match

Challenger: Damien Sandow vs. Troy Gafgen

Sandow tried to out-wrestle the more physically imposing Gafgen in this one, choosing to go for a more technical wrestling style, rather than slugging it out with the champion. He worked Gafgen into a headlock before transitioning into a tight hammerlock. Gafgen, however, was able to grab a hold of Sandow's head before dropping down into a stunner. Sandow was knocked woozy by the reversal, and stumbled into the corner. Gafgen saw this, and once back on his feet, charged his opponent, looking for a running body avalanche, but Sandow moved out of the way in the knick of time. He then stalked Gafgen as he stumbled backwards before lifting him up and hitting him with a belly-to-back suplex. Not wanting to give Gafgen a chance to recover, he lifted the champion up and nailed him with a hard European uppercut. Gafgen stumbled back again, and this time, Sandow followed up with a soccer kick to the gut, dropping Gafgen to his knees. Sandow then hit the ropes and nailed Gafgen with a running dropkick to the chest. Sandow began to land some vicious stomps to the midsection of the champion, before dropping to one knee and landing some vicious strikes to the face. The referee was forced to step in, and pulled Sandow away, warning him about the closed-fist strikes. Sandow backed away as Gafgen slowly started getting to his feet. Once he had gotten back to one knee, Sandow seemed to go for a running knee strike, which Gafgen actually caught! Gafgen stood up, still holding onto Sandow's leg, before placing his hand around Sandow's throat. In a great showing of strength, he hoisted Sandow up by his throat before grabbing his other leg in mid-air and driving him to the mat with a ring shaking powerbomb! Sandow had the wind completely knocked out of him, but Gafgen didn't stop there. He picked his opponent up before stepping back and landing a huge boot to the face. He once again picked up the near motionless body of Sandow before hitting him with "The Sickness." It was all over but the shouting, as the referee counted the 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Troy Gafgen

Striker: "Geez, did you see the way his head hit the mat off that powerbomb? I think he could have pinned him right then and there!"

Hudson: "Well, that was certainly an impressive victory against arguably the stiffest competition Gafgen's faced since the TWF reopened it's doors."

Striker: "Yeah, but remember, Hudson, he's going to have to defend that title of his every single show. Most champions usually have a decent amount of time to prepare for their opponent, whereas Gafgen's essentially going in blind with every defense. With the level of talent the TWF has, I don't envy him, that's for sure."

Hudson: "Very true, partner. Well, keeping on with the theme of of champions, we're going to keep this night going with the next match of the Women's Title tournament!"

Women's Title Tournament- First Round: Brandi Rhodes vs. Ashley K.

Despite her relative inexperience in the ring, Rhodes seemed more than ready to go against the former 2-time TWF Women's champion. The two women locked up into a collar and elbow. Ashley quickly gained the advantage, grabbing the arm of Rhodes before twisting it up. Showing some good athleticism, however, Rhodes was able to roll out of it, releasing the pressure. She quickly pulled Ashely into a side headlock, but Ashley seemed prepared for that, as she peppered Rhodes with a few shots to the midsection before throwing her into the ropes. Ashley then telegraphed a back body drop, which Rhodes responded to with a sharp kick to the shoulder. Rhodes then led in with a few elbows to the temple before stepping back and taking Ashley down with a lunging clothesline. From there, she lifted Ashley up and continued landing strikes, switching between blows to the head and the body. She backed Ashley into the corner before pelting her in the chest with some nasty chops. Looking to land a big move, Rhodes hoisted Ashley onto the top rope, then began positioning for what appeared to be a superplex. Ashley, however, grabbed a handful of Rhodes' hair before nailing her with a big forearm to the jaw. Rhodes fell backwards and landed hard on the back of her head. With her opponent down, Ashley stood up on the top rope and delivered an absolutely beautiful moonsault. After impact, she hooked the leg, and the referee counted 1...2...3.

Winner: Ashley K.

Striker: "Wow, the height Ashley K. got on that moonsault was impressive!"

Hudson: "Yeah, well, it would have been more impressive if she hadn't resorted to hair pulling to get to that point...

Striker: "Hey, any port in a storm, Hudson! Like it or not, Ashley K. is our winner, and she advances to the next round of the tournament."

The camera cuts to the locker room, where Sebastian Cain can be seen looking at something on his phone. The sound of the door can be heard opening, and Cain looks up. He immediately drops his phone and stands up as Richard Ramsley and Kris Wolf enter the shot.

Richard Ramsley: "Relax, Cain, relax... if I wanted to jump your sorry ass, you wouldn't have heard me open the door so loudly."

Cain relaxes only slightly as Wolf grabs Ramsley's arm and leans into him.

Sebastian Cain: "What do you and your little pet want, Ramsley?"

Ramsley smirks and rubs his temple.

Ramsley: "Bad news, I'm afraid... for both of us. See, you and I aren't the only ones in the locker room having... differences; Jason Oliver and Kevin Thorn are a bit frustrated with one another as well. Cornette just called me into his office. He seems to think that drama creates ratings, which is why... he's scheduled you and I in a tag team match against the two of them, tonight."

Cain sighs deeply before sitting back down.

Cain: "You've got to be kidding me...

Ramsley: "Afraid not. Trust me, I'm not any happier about this than you are, but there's not really much that can be done about it. We've got a little bit of time before that, though, so get ready. I'll see you out there....

Ramsley turns to leave before shooting Cain a twisted smile.

...partner."

Striker: "Wow, talk about a match full of combustible elements! I think that's a great match made by our commissioner."

Hudson: "Oh, no doubt, and we'll see that match a little later on tonight. But right now, we're gearing up for the next match in the Tag Team title tournament."

TWF Tag Team Title Tournament- First Round: Austin Aries and Low-Ki vs. The Brahman Brothers

Aries and Low-ki found themselves up against a rather bizarre looking pair of brothers, and as Aries and Brahman Kei started the match, it was apparent that Aries wasn't quite sure what to make of the two men. Aries decided on a cautious approach, keeping Kei at a distance with some nice kicks to the leg. Kei, however, was able to close the distance, and quickly began to showcase a very in-your-face, smash mouth style. He pelted Aries with several stiff forearms to the face, as well as some solid haymakers to the ribs. Dragging Aries to the corner, he made the tag to his brother, Shu, before setting Aries up in an octopus stretch. Shu followed up with a big punch to the ribs, dropping Aries to the mat. Shu began taking it to Aries with stomp after stomp before picking Aries up and Irish whipping him into the ropes. He went to clothesline Aries, but Aries was able to duck. He ran the ropes one more time before hitting Shu with a clothesline of his own. Shu was up quickly and attempted to charge Aries, but was met with a crisp looking armdrag. Shu once again popped back up, but was taken down once more with another armdrag. Aries grabbed the arm of the fallen Shu, and dragged him over to his corner, making the tag to Low-Ki. Aries that locked on a make shift armbar while Low-Ki began to stomp the midsection of Shu. The referee got to the count of 4 before Aries let go of the hold and rolled onto the ring apron. The match went downhill fast for the Brahman Brothers, as Low-Ki continued his assault on Shu. At one point, Shu was able to block a kick from Low-Ki by grabbing his leg, but was met with an enziguri that could be heard throughout the arena. As Shu got to one knee, attempting to get himself back on his feet, Low-Ki blasted him with a nasty shining wizard. Wasting no time, Low-Ki ran over to the opposite corner and blasted Kei with a hard right forearm, sending him to the arena floor. From there, he tagged in Aries. Aries dropped down to the mat and rolled Shu onto his stomach. From there, he locked in the "Last Chancery", and Shu had no choice but to tap out.

Winners: Austin Aries and Low-Ki

Hudson: "Shu had no choice but to tap there; that Last Chancery is one nasty move."

Striker: "Yeah, and if Aries and Low-Ki perform like that for the rest of the tournament, we might be looking at our inaugural champions."

Hudson: "Next up, folks, we have a match pitting Mr. Taylor and Eddie Saint James, a match that Taylor himself requested after the altercation between the two men on the last edition of TWF programming."

The Saint made his way to the ring, Monica by his side, looking ready for action. As he waited, Mr. Taylor made his way to the back, with Sylvester Terkay in tow, and a microphone in his hand.

Mr. Taylor: "I must say, Edward, you look absolutely ready to compete tonight! There's just one thing though... you won't be competing against me."

The crowd begins to boo heavily.

Mr. Taylor: "See, after our little incident at the last show, I'll admit, you had me a little flustered; I wasn't exactly thinking clearly when I said I'd ask Mr. Cornette for a match. But after I'd settled down a little bit, I started thinking... trash like you isn't worth my time, my talent, or my effort. But Sly here... well, he has absolutely no problem doing just that. Which is why I instead asked for, and was granted, the opportunity to have Sly take my place. So, best of luck tonight, Edward. You're going to need it."

The Saint just shook his head before motioning Terkay to meet him in the ring.

Eddie Saint James w/ Monica vs. Sylvester Terkay w/ Mr. Taylor

The Saint started this match on fire, quickly rushing the massive Terkay and laying into him with shot after shot. Terkay did his best to cover up and block some of the shots, but Saint James still managed to force him into the corner. From there, he started to wear the big man down with kick after kick to the midsection, forcing Terkay into a seated position. The referee had started a count, however, and The Saint was forced to back it up. Terkay managed to get himself back to his feet, but was still visibly shaken up. The Saint went for a running clothesline, but Terkay used his size and strength and took him down with a hard shoulder tackle. Terkay then quickly looked to use some of his MMA skills to his advantage, getting The Saint into a North-South position. He began to hit his opponent with some nasty knees and hard fists to the midsection. The Saint was able to escape, however, by landing some knees to the head himself, causing Terkay's hold to loosen and allowing him to slip out. Both men got back to their feet and immediately began to trade blows again. Terkay managed to gain the upperhand, and Irish whipped The Saint into the ropes On his way back, however, Saint James leaped into the air and took Terkay off his feet with a huge lunging clothesline! He began to put the boots to Terkay, kicking and stomping his midsection. From there, The Saint pulled Terkay to his feet before going for an Irish whip of his own. On the rebound, The Saint lifted the huge Terkay off his feet and planted him to the mat with a big sidewalk slam. The Saint was on fire now, and as Terkay slowly began to get to his feet, Saint James ran forward and blasted him in the face with a big boot, taking him right back down. Monica began to cheer as The Saint measured Terkay, waiting for him to get up. However, as he did, he failed to notice Mr. Taylor slide into the ring. Taylor blindsided James with a massive forearm to the back of the head, as the referee had no chance but to call for the bell.

Winner by DQ: Eddie Saint James

Mr. Taylor continued his beatdown of James as Monica scrambled into the ring. Terkay had recovered by this point, though, and intimidated the woman, forcing her back out of the ring. Terkay then joined Mr. Taylor in his assault, dropping down to one knee and wailing on James with heavy right hands. He then locked in a very tight looking armbar and began to really crank on James' arm, all while Mr. Taylor berated and insulted The Saint. Finally, after getting in one more kick to The Saint's ribs, Taylor commanded Terkay to release the hold and the pair left the ring as Monica slid back in to check on the fallen Saint James.

Hudson: "What an absolutely disgusting attack!"

Striker: "Yeah, it certainly wasn't pretty, but it definitely sent a message to The Saint."

Hudson: "The Gold Standard might have been the ones standing tall tonight, but something tells me that Eddie Saint James isn't going to take this one laying down... wait a minute, what's this?"

"Stronger" by Kanye West plays over the arena speakers as Damion West makes his way to the ring. He has a huge smile on his face, a far cry from the much more serious looking West we'd seen before. He high-fives a few members of the audience as he slides into the ring and motions for a microphone.

Damion West: "You know, I thought long and hard about my actions on the last show... about what I said... and I realized that I was wrong. I thought that maybe if I came out here with a new attitude that it would benefit me in some way. But honestly? That's just not who I am. So, even though he's not here tonight, I want to apologize to Ricky Stenhouse, and more importantly, I want to apologize to all of you.

The crowd seems unsure of what to think of this turn of events as West continues.

West: So... with all that out of the way, I want to focus on what I've always done. Putting on good matches and entertaining all you fans! So I'm issuing an open challenge, right here, right now! I don't care who it is, I want someone to get down here, and we can tear this place down!"

The crowd cheers loudly as West poses for the crowd. "Beatnik" by Art Phillips begins to play, and Shawn Stasiak makes his way to the ring, a referee following him out. Stasiak slides into the ring and the referee rings the bell to start the match.

Open Challenge: Damion West vs. Shawn Stasiak

Damion West started this contest by moving to the center of the ring and extending his hand to his opponent. Stasiak looked a little weary at first, but eventually reciprocated the handshake. However, before Stasiak could release his grip, West pulled him forward and nailed him with an absolutely nasty headbutt! The crowd began to boo as West dropped down and began unloading on Stasiak with rights and lefts. The referee was able to finally pull West off of Stasiak, but West immediately pulled Stasiak up and nailed him with an absolutely nasty super kick that could be heard from the parking lot. West barely even covered Stasiak, not even bothering to hook the leg as the referee counted the 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Damion West

West picks the microphone back up, and takes a moment to catch his breath before speaking.

West: "You're all a bunch of idiots! You're just as stupid as Stasiak, you know that!? I already told you all that the Damion West you all knew is DEAD! I just wanted to prove to you all that none of you care about me; none of you care about who I really am! You all just want the goofy, happy-go-lucky nobody that pandered to all of you! You know what happened when I spent all my time worrying about if you all were happy or not? I became absolutely irrelevant! I wasn't seen on TWF TV for MONTHS. But did any of you care? No, you all just moved on to the next smiling idiot that got shoved down your throats!

The crowd errupts into a chorus of boos. West looks as if he's ready to continue, but he noticed Stasiak slowly getting to his feet. Just as he does, West lays him out with another huge superkick before picking him up and tossing him out of the ring. He once again picks up the microphone and continues.

I want all of you to remember what I just did to that piece of trash. And more importantly, I want everyone in the back to remember, too. Because that's what's in store for all of you. I WILL be worshiped like the wrestling God that I am. I WILL climb to the top of the TWF. And you know what? There's not a God damned thing anyone can do about it!"

With that, West drops the microphone and exits the ring. The boos from the crowd rain down as he makes his way up the ramp and to the back.

Hudson: "Wow, that really is a much different Damion West than what we're used to seeing."

Striker: "Well, he makes a pretty good point though. Being the "nice guy" didn't really get him anywhere in the past, so maybe this new attitude of his will bring him a bit more success."

The camera cuts to the locker room, where The Young Bucks are seen hanging out. Suddenly, a man in a suit appears, brandishing a bucket that appears to be chilling a very expensive looking bottle of champagne.

Man: "Excuse me...might you be Mr. Matthew and Nicholas Jackson?"

Matt Jackson: "Err...yeah, Matt and Nick Jackson, that's us... what can we do for you?"

Man: "I've been tasked with bringing you both this bottle of Jacques Selosse Millésime Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru, courtesy of your friends in the Gold Standard."

Nick Jackson: "Oh, umm... that's... that'S really nice, I guess. You can just... set it over there...

The man places the bucket down on a bench beside the two men.

Man: "I've also been instructed to tell you that once the show has ended, a limousine will be waiting in the parking lot to take you to dinner. Mr. Taylor himself has reserved you both a private dining table at Everest. Feel free to have whatever you desire while there, as the bill is being handled by Mr. Taylor personally."

Matt and Nick simply look at each other, confused.

Matt: "Uhh... sure, man, thanks...

The man simply nods politely before exiting the room. The two young men simply look at each other again before the camera fades.

Striker: "Wow, Everest? I've heard you have to book ahead months in advance to get into that place."

Hudson: "Yeah, and I'm pretty sure that bottle of champagne he brought them goes for around a thousand dollars."

Striker: "Hey, I don't know about you, but if those are the perks of being a member of the Gold Standard, then sign me up."

Hudson: "Tell me about it... up next, though, we've got that huge tag team match that Jim Cornette made earlier in the evening! There's a lot of hatred between the four men that are going to be competing, so this one should be interesting."

Richard Ramsley & Sebastian Cain w/ Kris Wolf vs. Jason Oliver & Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel

Ramsley and Cain seemed to be at a disagreement as to who would start off the match, as Thorn waited in the opposite corner. After a tense staredown, Ramsley finally backed off and got on the ring apron. As soon as the bell rang, however, Ramsley smacked Cain hard across the back, tagging himself in. The two men shared another staredown as this time Cain moved to the ring apron. From there, Ramsley, the smaller of the two competitors, began to circle Thorn, looking for an opening. Ramsley tried to go for a single leg takedown, but Thorn was able to hold his footing, hitting a hard axehandle to the back of Ramsley for his troubles. Ramsley quickly backed off, rubbing his lower back. He then tried to tie up with Thorn, but Thorn once again easily out-powered him, backing him into a neutral corner. The referee started to count, but Thorn released the hold, and slowly backed away. Ramsley hesitantly moved towards Thorn, but as Thorn went to throw a solid right hand, Ramsley rolled under it, then quickly scrambled to his corner, slapping Cain on the shoulder before ducking out of the ring. Cain simply shook his head as he entered the ring. Cain took a much more head on approach, blocking a wide punch attempt from Thorn before beginning to pepper him with some stiff chops to the chest. Thorn was able to shove Cain off of him, however, and went to Irish whip Cain into the corner. Cain reversed, however, and threw Thorn into the corner instead. He quickly moved over and began to throw some forearms into the face of his opponent. The referee moved himself in between the two men, and pushed Cain away, taking a moment to warn him about continuing the corner assault. While the referee's back was turned, however, Ramsley took the opportunity to wrap his hand around Thorn's throat, choking the big man. Ramsley released the hold before the ref could turn around, however.

Cain and Ramsley showed surprisingly good team work from this point, making frequent tags, and keeping Thorn isolated from his side of the ring. Thorn found an opening, however, when Ramsley went for a suplex, which Thorn was able to reverse into a suplex of his own. Both men crawled to their corners, and both men were able to tag in their partners. Cain and Oliver crashed into each other, going after one another with big strikes. Cain seemed to gain the upperhand, but his momentum was quickly cut short when Oliver ducked a clothesline attempt and landed a snap German suplex. Oliver then moved to his corner to tag in Thorn. Just as Oliver got onto the ring apron, however, Thorn turned around and blasted Oliver in the face with a big boot! Oliver flew off the ring apron, crashing hard into the barricade! From there, Thorn picked up Cain, and hoisted him onto his shoulder, hitting him with a massive running powerslam. Thorn then ran his thumb across his throat, signaling the end. He picked Cain up once more, and picked him up, setting him up for his Crucifix Powerbomb. Ramsley had made his way back to the ring apron, however, and as Cain was being held by Thorn, Ramsley leaned forward and smacked Cain's foot, making a tag that Thorn didn't see! Rather than save Cain from the powerbomb, however, Ramsley simply snuck into the ring. Thorn brought Cain down hard into the mat and went for the cover, but the referee refused to count! He explained that the tag had been made, and when Thorn turned around, he was met with a big boot to the gut from Ramsley. Ramsley then set him up and delivered a "Truth of Consequences!" He rolled Thorn over, and hooked the leg as the referee counted the 1, 2, 3.

Winners: Richard Ramsley & Sebastian Cain

Striker: "Wow, talk about killing two birds with one stone! Ramsley got to watch Cain take some punishment AND he won the match."

Hudson: "Yeah, it looks like Thorn got a little carried-wait a minute....

Ramsley quickly ducked out of the ring as Jason Oliver slid in through the bottom rope. He jumped on Thorn and began to lay down some heavy hands as Ariel screamed in protest. Oliver continued the assault before picking the big man up and delivering the "Reigns of Destiny"! Oliver slid out under the bottom rope and made his way up the ramp. Cain, by this point was getting back to his feet. Ramsley and Wolf were both making their own way up the ramp, taunting Cain, who could only look on in frustration.

Hudson: "Wow...the situation in both of these feuds is reaching a boiling point!

Striker: "No kidding. At least Kevin Thorn and Jason Oliver can vent their aggression on each other, though. You have to wonder how much longer Ramsley and Cain can go before they explode."

Hudson: "Well, ladies and gentlemen, the action keeps on rolling as we've got singles action coming up next".

Chaos Wolf vs. Carney

Before the bell could even ring, Cris Henning and Money Mike stormed down from the back and invaded the ring. Chaos Wolf immediately tackled Carney and started laying down some punches, but Henning and Mike were on him quickly. All three men continued to beat down Wolf, until eventually, Mike produced a pair of handcuffs he brought with him! Carney and Henning lifted Wolf up, and dragged him over to the corner. Wolf struggled, but was unable to do anything as Mike cuffed him to the top rope! Once cuffed, The Empire began to tear into Wolf again. The crowd erupted, however, as Jordan Rockwell and Chris Tirpak were sprinting down the ramp!

Mike backed off a bit and let Carney and Henning deal with the two men as they slid into the ring. Rockwell and Tirpak began to get the better of the exchange, but the tides turned as Mike managed to grab Tirpak's kendo stick before he could hit Carney with it again. Tirpak began to struggle for control of the stick, and that allowed Carney to nail Tirpak in the back of the head with a stiff forearm. Carney and Mike quickly brought down Tirpak, then turned their attention to Rockwell. Rockwell was able to fend the three off for a moment, but eventually, the numbers game caught up with him. With Wolf cuffed to the rope, and Rockwell and Tirpak down, The Empire was left standing tall. Mike instructed Carney to pick up the kendo stick, and ordered him to lay into the defenseless Chaos Wolf. Just before the first swing, however, the lights in the arena went dark!

There was a low murmur throughout the crowd, but once the lights turned back on, the crowd absolutely erupted, as there in the ring stood none other than Kenny Omega! The Empire looked shocked, but Mike quickly yelled "What are you two doing, get him!" Carney and Henning quickly ran in on Omega, but he ducked a clothesline from Henning, and began to pelt Carney with several overhand strikes. By this point, Rockwell and Tirpak had gotten to their feet, and began to assist, as Tirpak went for Henning, and Rockwell went straight for Money Mike! Mike quickly managed to get out of the ring, but there was no such luck for Henning and Carney. Tirpak hoisted Henning up on his shoulders and hit the "Lights Out," as Omega lifted Carney up and hit him with The "One-Winged Angel!" Rockwell sat on the second rope, mockingly inviting a stunned looking Money Mike to enter the ring.

Striker: "Can you believe that, Hudson? Kenny Omega in a TWF ring!"

Hudson: "Arguably the biggest name in wrestling today has made his way to the TWF, and he's done it in a big big way!"

Striker: "Don't forget, though, we've still got our main event, coming up next."

Hudson: "And it's going to be a great match.... but listen to this place! This is incredible"!

Rockwell, Tirpak and Wolf stood in the ring with Omega, taking in the massive cheer.

A video package plays showing clips from the 20-man battle royal, the fatal 4-way match and the triple threat match in the TWF championship chase series. Some clips of Nails and Cody mixing it up are shown, as well as the altercations between Matt Cruz and Mil Muertes.

Nails and Matt Cruz vs. Cody Rhodes and Mil Muertes w/ Brandi Rhodes and Catrina

Matt Cruz and Mil Muertes started this one off, and Cruz wasted little time in taking the fight to Muertes. He went after Muertes hard, going for big body blows and jabs to the chin. However, they seemed to do very little, as Muertes simply weathered the storm before wrapping his hands around Cruz's throat, and tossing him into a neutral corner from the center of the ring. He walked over to Cruz and began to pulverize him with hard uppercuts to the body. Muertes took a few steps back and looked to deliver a running shoulder tackle to the midsection, but Cruz was able to move out of the way. Muertes was able to stop himself from tackling the ring post, but as soon as he turned around, he was met with a big right hand from Cruz. From there, in an impressive show of strength, Cruz grabbed Muertes and landed a beautiful belly-to-belly suplex. Muertes got up quickly, however Cruz was ready, and planted the big man with another belly-to-belly. Muertes again scrambled to his feet, but quickly stumbled to his corner, making the tag to Cody. Cruz challenged Rhodes to a test of strength, and was able to gain the advantage, twisting Cody's arm. Rhodes flipped to reverse the pressure before performing a kip up back to his feet. e then swept Cruz's feet from under him before locking in a side headlock. A very brash Rhodes pretended to yawn as he held the maneuver before starting to grind his knuckle into the crown of Cruz's head. Cruz was able to power his way back to his feet, and after a few shots to the belly of Rhodes, he Irish whipped him into the ropes. Cody, however was able to land a picture perfect dropkick on the rebound. Rhodes then went for the cover, but Cruz was able to kick out just after 2.

Cody then began to take control of the match, landing some crisp chops to the chest before hitting Cruz with a scoop slam followed by a jumping elbow to the chest. He grabbed the arm of Cruz, and drug him over to his corner, making the tag to Muertes. Cody then held onto the arm, as Muertes entered the ring. While Cody held him down, Muertes ran the ring ropes and landed a jumping body splash. Muertes stayed on top of Cruz, going for a pin, though Cruz was able to kick out at 2. Muertes then picked Cruz up and dumped him outside of the ring, following right behind. Muertes pulled Cruz to his feet before grabbing his shoulders and tossing him into the corner of the barricade. He began to absolutely pummel Cruz, landing clubbing blows to the top of his head before repeatedly kneeing him in the chest after he had slumped down into a sitting position. At this point, the referee had reached a count of 8, so Muertes grabbed Cruz by the ears, and tossed him back into the ring before sliding back in himself. Muertes then grabbed Cruz by the throat, and hoisted him up to his feet. He then lifted Cruz into the air and slammed him down hard with a twisting chokeslam. He fell into the cover, hooking the leg, but Cruz was again able to kick out at 2.

The beatdown continued for Cruz for the next few minutes, but he found his break when Muertes went for a standing suplex. Cruz managed to slip out of the suplex, and ended up behind Muertes. He locked his arms around his opponents waist and hoisted him into a huge German suplex that shook the ring. The crowd's excitement was building as both they and Cruz sensed that this was his chance. Both men crawled to their corners and managed to make a tag. Cody jumped into the ring quickly and rushed Nails, trying to gain the quick advantage, but Nails simply grabbed the face of Cody and threw shoved him to the mat. Muertes had gotten back to his feet and also tried to rush him, but was met with a massive boot to the face that sent him stumbling out of the ring. When Nails turned around, Cody springboarded off the middle rope, looking for a flying crossbody. Nails caught him, however, and drove him into the mat with a huge slam. Cody rolled out of the ring, but Nails followed right after him. Nails grabbed Cody, and attempted to throw him into the ring post, but Cody was able to reverse it, throwing Nails instead. This shook Nails, and as he tried to shake it off, Cody landed a dropkick to his back, sending him once again face first into the ring post. As Nails leaned against the post, Cody took a step back and blasted the back of Nails' head with a superkick! Cody quickly rolled the big man into the ring and went for a cover, though Nails was able to kick out at two. Cody, realizing that Mil Muertes had not yet recovered, sought to end it right then and there. He lifted Nails up and set him up for the "Cross Rhodes", however, Nails began pushing backwards, backing Cody into the corner. At that time, Cruz had just climbed back onto the ring apron. He got the quick tag, and entered the ring as Nails dropped to the mat and rolled out of the ring. Cody was still winded, and Cruz looked to capitalize on that, ramming his shoulder into Cody's midsection several times, causing Rhodes to crumple. Cruz then saw his own opportunity to end the match, as he dragged Cody out from the corner and quickly locked in the "Colorado Clover Leaf!" Cody desperately tried to crawl to the ropes, but Cruz was able to turn Rhodes away from them. Sensing that defeat might be near, Catrina climbed onto the ring apron and began to untie the padding from the top turnbuckle. The referee ran over and got her back on the floor before attempting to re-tie the turnbuckle padding. While his back was turned, however, Mil Muertes had run over to the other side of the ring, the same cup as the last show in his hand! He once again splashed the red liquid into the face of Cruz! Cruz released the Clover Leaf, as he tried to wipe the liquid from his eyes. Cody quickly scrambled to his feet, and in an almost exact way as the last time Muertes use this tactic, Cruz stumbled into a "Cross Rhodes" from Cody. Cody crawled into the cover as Muertes quickly ran over and grabbed the leg of Nails, who was attempting to break up the pinfall. The referee turned around to see the cover and counted the 1, 2, 3.

Winners: Cody Rhodes and Mil Muertes

Striker: "That's twice now that Mil Muertes has used that liquid to cost Matt Cruz!"

Hudson: "Yeah, but hold on, this doesn't look like it's over!"

At this point, Nails had shaken off Muertes and re-entered the ring. Cody wanted no part of him, as he quickly ducked out of the ring, grabbed his wife by the hand, and retreated from the arena as Nails followed behind. Muertes and Catrina both entered the ring, as Muertes approached the fallen Cruz. He wrapped his hand around Cruz's neck and lifted him up before dropping him down with a nasty Flatliner! Catrina then dropped down and crawled over to Cruz before licking his face.

Striker: "And it looks like Cruz has fallen pray to the Kiss of Death!"

Hudson: "I gotta tell you partner, this situation between Matt Cruz and Mil Muertes is a strange one. But that's all we have for you tonight, folks. Join us next time for the next edition of TWF programming!"

FANS IN THE ARENA BOOED AS CATRINA AND MUERTES LOOKED DOWN AT THE FALLEN CRUZ.
