The TWF ventured into one of it's favorite places and venues and the rockus Memphis crowd was showing their TWF spirit from the beginning of the show to the end. Chavo Guerrero did an autograph signing outside the arena which drew many fans over and once the doors opened, the fans were ready to get started with Uprising. 3 big matches prepped them for PrimeTime. Paul London vs. Nick Dinsmore w/ Ted DibiaseThe fans were very appreciative of the show these two put on down on the mat to start the match. Dibiase screamed at Dinsmore to step it up and it seemed to throw Nick off his game. London escaped his clutches on a german suplex attempt and then hit a quick jumping calf kick followed by moonsault after running up one of the turnbuckles and that gave him the 3 count. A.J. Styles vs. Sakoda Styles was determined to get back on the winning track after failing to win the Lightheavyweight title at War in the Winter. But Sakoda wasn't gonna give it to him easily. After a tough struggle, Styles connected with his big dropkick and called for the "Styles Clash" but Akio ran out to interfere. Styles turned and leveled him with a right hand but Sakoda rolled him up from behind and even grabbed the middle rope to win it. Rey Mysterio vs. Rob Conway w/ Ted Dibiase Mysterio looked to make quick work of the other half of the Million Dollar Team but after avoiding the 6-1-9, Conway was prepared to spring an upset. Mysterio was able to reverse an irish whip and he went for a hurracanrana but Conway caught him and walked to the ropes where Mysterio finally turned the move over. Both men hit the floor hard and neither could beat the referee'S quick 10 count and the match ended a draw. MYSTERIO STUMBLED INTO THE RING TO A CHEER BUT CONWAY TRIED TO ATTACK HIM FROM BEHIND. REY REACTED WITH A DROP TOEHOLD AND THEN HIT THE 6-1-9 FOLLOWED BY THE "DROP OF THE DIME" LEGDROP AND HIS MUSIC HIT TO A THUNDEROUS ROAR AS THE SHOT FADED OUT. PRIMETIME GOES LIVE AS SOON AS PRIMETIME TAKES THE AIR, THE REPLAY OF SHANE THOMPSON FALLING FROM THE TOP OF THE HELL IN A CELL AFTER BEING KICKED BY LITA AT WAR IN THE WINTER IS SHOWN FROM 3 DIFFERENT ANGLES WITH FULL AUDIO. THE CAMERA THEN GETS A CLOSE UP SHOT OF THOMPSON's MOTIONLESS BODY WHICH FADES INTO THE MONTAGE VIDEO THAT ALWAYS SETS UP PRIMETIME WHILE "RAP SUPERSTAR" PLAYS. AS SOON AS A LIVE SHOT IS SHOWN FROM INSIDE THE PYRAMID, THE DOOR OF SHANE McMAHON's OFFICE IS OPEN. THE CAMERA GOES INSIDE TO FIND NOT SHANE, BUT THE NEW BREED. Jordan Rockwell: "Hello fans, and welcome to TWF PrimeTime". Dylan Jansens: "Shane O'Mac is tending to other duties tonight, so he has left us in charge. That's right, the New Breed is calling the shots. So sit back, grab a soda, beer of whatever and enjoy the show". INSIDE THE ARENA, MICHAEL COLE AND JESSE VENTURA ARE SHOWN FROM THEIR RINGSIDE BROADCAST POSITION. Jesse Ventura: "This can't be right Michael, those goofs can't be in charge of this show"! Michael Cole: "They were personally appointed by Shane McMahon.... I think it is right"! ULTIMO DRAGON's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO ONE HELL OF A POP AS FLAMES POOF UP BOTH SIDES OF THE ENTRANCE. ULTIMO HAS WITH HIM THE LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT TITLE BELT. Ventura: "Well maybe they can get me a good broadcast colleague, this is gonna be a long show"! Cole: "Hey now, don't go blaming me for things. AKIO's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO LITTLE RESPONSE. Fans if you missed War in the Winter you should definitely be kicking yourself, it was a tremendous event and it saw the crowning of a new Lightheavyweight champion in the Ultimo Dragon". Ventura: "Ultimo got his title back Michael but Akio could hand him a defeat right here tonight and kill his buzz real easily". Cole: "That's gonna be easier said than done though because the Dragon just beat three of the top lightheavyweights the world has to offer"! Non-Title Akio vs. Lightheavyweight champion Ultimo Dragon Ultimo took off the title and handed it to referee Charles Robinson before taking it right to Akio with some harsh kicks to the back of the legs. Ultimo shot him to the ropes and delivered a double thrust to the abdomen before hitting the ropes himself but Akio came back with a jumping back kick to the head. After 2 hard knifedge chops, Akio shot him to the ropes and followed in but Ultimo moved and then delivered a backdrop suplex followed by a standing moonsault. Ultimo went to lock in the Dragon Sleeper but Akio escaped it. The two continued to trade shots until Ultimo countered one of Akio's kicks right into a back footsweep and he then pulled him in for the Dragon DDT. But Sakoda came out, ready to return Akio's favor from earlier on Uprising. Ultimo let go of the hold and took Sakoda out, turning his attention back to Akio but Akio used a small package to get the 1.......2.......3. Match Time: 6:25 Cole: "Oh what an upset! The lightheavyweight champion has just been beated, with help of course"! Ventura: "And the way I look at it Michael, that's gotta make Akio the number one contender"! CAMERAS SHOWED AKIO LEAVING WITH SAKODA WHO WAS HELPING HIM UP THE RAMP AS ULTIMO LOOKED ON AND THE CROWD LOUDLY BOOED. Cole: "Well perhaps so, I just hope that Sakoda is prevented from even being in the building if we see these two face off again"! BACKSTAGE...... IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA, MUHAMMED HASSAN, TIGER ALI SINGH AND RICK CLARK ARE ALL TALKING IN A CORNER WHEN JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES UP. Jordan Rockwell: "Ah, what do we have here"? Muhammed Hassan: "Make one ignorant remark and I'll..... Rockwell: "You'll what"? WITH HIS ARM, TIGER BACKS HASSAN AWAY. Tiger Ali Singh: "What Muhammed is trying to say is, what can we do for you"? Rockwell: "Well, thank you for the translation Tiger, but the one I really wanted to talk to was you...... ROCKWELL TURNS AND LOOKS CLARK DEAD IN THE EYE. It seems to me you have a problem with Kid Gundam. So, I've arranged for you two to meet tonight.... in the ring". Singh: "Hey, hey Rick, don't let that get to you, it's handled". Rockwell: "Is it? Because in that match, both you and Mohammed here are to remain backstage...... or face suspension". ROCKWELL WALKS AWAY. Hassan: "That's Muhammed Rockwell! Muhammed"! Cole: "I could get used to this kind of a leader". Ventura: "Where's Shane?! These guys are power hungry"! COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR SKITTLES IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR TACO BELL. RETURN FROM BREAK..... AS PRIMETIME RETURNS, EDGE IS TALKING ON A CELL PHONE. Edge: "Look Shane, I'm not trying to interrupt your meeting, but I would still be Intercontinental champion right now, if not for Axl Irvin! (pause) So I can go ahead and tell the New Breed to make the match for tonight? Great.... thanks Shane-O". EDGE HANGS UP THE PHONE AND AS SOON AS HE DOES, A VERY ATTRACTIVE WOMAN COMES UP. Woman: "Hey Edge.... how are you"? SHE OFFERS HER HAND AND EDGE SHAKES IT. Edge: "Uh, I'm fine, and you are"? Woman: "Oh I'm fine. Oh, you mean who am I? I'm Traci Brooks, I really just wanted to introduce myself, I've been a fan of yours for some time now". SHE WALKS AWAY, SMILING. Edge: (to himself) "Wow, tell me I haven't entered the twilight zone here". IN THE RING, KID GUNDAM IS STANDING WITH A MICROPHONE. Ventura: "Wow, did you get a load of Miss Traci Brooks Michael"? Cole: "I sure did and I have no complaints". Kid Gundam: "A couple years ago, I was part of a group known as Extreme Japan 2000. When I think back on that time, I consider it the low point of my career. Why? Because of what I said about this fine country. What I have realized is that there's no place like America and I will be happy to fight for you..... and for America"! Ventura: "Ya know, I like that statement! Good for him"! JUST THEN, RICK CLARK's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT, POINTING A FINGER AT GUNDAM. Cole: "Ya know, I've been waiting for this match ever since this coward, yeah you heard me right, this coward Rick Clark turned his back on the country he once went to war for"! Ventura: "You won't get any arguments out of me there Michael, this should be a fight"! Kid Gundam vs. Rick Clark Feeding off the energy from his announcement, Gundam tore into Clark who wasn't ready for the blitz of offense he received. After peppering Clark's upper body with kicks, Gundam hit the ropes but Clark turned it into a tilt-a-whirl sidewalk slam. After a big elbow drop, he went for the cover but could only get a 2 count. Clark tried to go into a fujiwara armbar but Gundam rolled out of it and smashed Clark with a kick right to the face. Clark got up but Gundam put him right back down with a DDT before pulling him up and leading him to the corner. Gundam had Clark in a reverse chin lock as he climbed up to the top rope. Gundam then used his knee to drive Clark face first into the mat before rolling him over and hooking the leg for the 1........2.........3. Match Time: 3:58 Cole: "Wow, what a dominating performance for Gundam"! "JADE" BY ADRENALINE HIT AND GUNDAM WAS GIVEN A HUGE RESPONSE. Ventura: "I wonder if Rick Clark is rethinking his motives Cole after the beating he just took"! Cole: "That was a statement match for Kid Gundam and it was quite a statement"! BACKSTAGE AREA...... SEAN O'HAIRE IS SHOWN GIVING HEIDENREICH A LOOK AT HIS NEW INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE BELT. HEIDENREICH SEEMS MESMERIZED WHEN AXL IRVIN AND ORLANDO JORDAN WALK UP. Orlando Jordan: "Here they are Axl. O'Haire, you can tell Axl now". Sean O'Haire: "Tell him what"? Axl Irvin: "Well aren't you gonna at least say thank you"? O'HAIRE GETS UP IN IRVIN's FACE. O'Haire: "You think I owe you a thank you? I don't owe you anything". O'HAIRE WALKS AWAY. HEIDENREICH STARES DOWN BOTH IRVIN AND JORDAN BEFORE DOING THE SAME AS THE SHOT FADES OUT. COMMERCIAL BREAK..... A COMMERCIAL FOR VEHIX.COM IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR eBay. AFTER THE VERY BRIEF BREAK, CHAOS WOLF IS SHOWN COMING OUT TO "BODIES" BY DROWNING POOL. Cole: "Welcome back to PrimeTime here on the FOX network and we are set for more action with one of the men in charge tonight, Chaos Wolf". Ventura: "And wouldn't it be something if he were to lose this match Cole, on a night when the New Breed is calling the shots"? "Bottom Line" by Swollen Members comes on over the loudspeakers and the crowd quickly goes into boos as Jason Tiger Oliver comes out, sporting a black bandana. Cole: "Well I'll tell ya what, I can't wait for someone to put this guy in his place! He has done nothing but cause problems since his arrival here in the TWF"! Ventura: "Come on Cole, he was found on a movie set as a stunt man, who can blame him for being a little cocky"? Cole: "Cocky is one thing but spreading untrue rumors and stories is another. I'm glad someone finally got fed up with it and that someone is Chaos Wolf. This match was made due to Chaos Wolf putting out a challenge at War in the Winter". Ventura: "Well I look for Chaos Wolf to start 2005 off on a bad note cause he doesn't know what Jason Oliver is capable of, no one does". Chaos Wolf vs. Jason Tiger Oliver (in ring debut) These two showed some serious hatred for one another as Chaos Wolf walked across the ring and ripped Oliver's bandana off. But using his decided height advantage, Oliver responded with a clothesline and several boots to the midsection before using both hands to blatantly choke him. Oliver looked to be in tremendous condition as he belted Wolf with a series of punches and hard shoulders into the midesction. He then draped him over the middle ring rope and, using a running start, jumped onto the back of his head. Oliver went for a cover but could only get a 2 count. He shot Wolf to the corner and followed in but missed with a clothesline and that opened the dopr back up for Wolf who hit a tornado DDT to get a 1.........2........., but Oliver was up. After a basement dropkick, Wolf waited for Oliver to get up again and he charged at him but Oliver lifted him into the air with a backbody drop that sent him to the floor. After whipping him into the steel ring steps, Oliver rolled him into the ring and got another two count. He got two more very near falls after a sidewalk slam and a sambo suplex. Oliver seemed to wonder what it would take to put Wolf away and he shot him to the ropes but when he made the rookie mistake of putting his head down too early, Wolf grabbed him in a front facelock and brought some of the crowd to their feet with a swinging Impaler DDT. Wolf rolled over onto him and got the 1........2........3 to win the hard fought battle. Match Time: 7:52 Cole: "That was a tremendous move Jesse and Chaos Wolf earned this one"! Ventura: "Well look at the flip side of that coin Cole, even in losing, Oliver showed he can hang at this level"! "BODIES" LOUDLY PLAYED AND CHAOS WOLF LEFT TO SOME HUGE CHEERS AS OLIVER LOOKED ON IN DISAPPOINTMENT. Cole: "These two will both be stars to come but it was Chaos Wolf who came out on top in this round, what a night for the New Breed"! COMMERCIAL BREAK.... A COMMERCIAL FOR EXCEDRIN IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY THE PROMO FOR THE ROYAL RUMBLE. RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE.... JORDAN ROCKWELL AND DYLAN JANSENS ARE SHOWN AS PRIMETIME RETURNS. Dylan Jansens: "So when you gonna talk about Thompson"? Rockwell: "Soon, when you gonna announce your challenge"? JUST THEN, ARIES AND HIROHITO WALK UP. Jansens: "Oh look, some of our better acquaintances". Aries: "Cut the crap Jansens, we got a problem". Rockwell: "And what might that be, you've found a way to hate yourselves"? HIROHITO STEPS FORWARD BUT ARIES HOLDS HIM BACK. Aries: "We weren't pinned at War in the Winter. Strife and Bahamut still haven't proven they can beat us. We want another shot". ROCKWELL TURNS TO JANSENS. Rockwell: "How do you think they'd feel about it"? Jansens: "Have they ever had a problem"? Rockwell: "Okay, you two got your match, next week on PrimeTime, for the titles". BACK INSIDE THE ARENA, TAJIRI IS IN THE RING GETTING WARM AS HE WAITS HIS OPPONENT. Cole: "So that match will happen next week and I'm sure there won't be a problem on Strife and Bahamut's end". ROME's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES DOWN THE AISLE WITH A VERY DETERMINED LOOK ON HIS FACE. Ventura: "Take a look at this guy Michael. He is a walking mound of destruction and he's heady right for Tajiri". Cole: "It won't be quite as bad as that tsunami was, but Tajiri has a huge challenge in front of him tonight". Tajiri vs. Rome Rome grabbed the ropes and pulled at them to stretch out but Tajiri came from behind with some kicks to the trapezius area. Rome turned and fought him off and then put him down with a headbutt. He then shot him to the ropes but Tajiri slid between his legs and kicked him right in the back. Rome reacted and was in pain as Tajiri struck his spinal cord area. Tajiri then tried to go to the legs and after blasting each with a round of kicks, Rome went down to his knees. Tajiri then came off the middle turnbuckle with a front dropkick that finally put him down but a cover didn't even earn a 2 count as Rome benchpressed his way out of the cover, sending Tajiri flying over referee Mike Enos. Tajiri tried to keep the pressure on with a flying tornado DDT but Rome caught him and tossed him across the ring. He went for a clothesline and Tajiri ducked but Rome snatched him and tossed him into the air with an overhead belly to belly. Tajiri landed on his head and neck area and seemed to be in severe discomfort as Rome locked in a boston crab. Rome pulled with all his might and Tajiri did his best to fight through it. But when Rome pulled him back into the center of the ring, he had no choice but to tap out. Match Time: 6:55 Cole: "Chalk up another win for Rome". Ventura: "This man is scary good Michael, who's gonna stop this guy"?! ROME SLOWLY WALKED AWAY, LEAVING HIS PATH OF DESTRUCTION BEHIND. Cole: "He came to the TWF as a record holder in the middle east for benchpressing but he is quickly making his mark here on TWF PrimeTime"! BACKSTAGE..... JORDAN ROCKWELL IS SHOWN SITTING AT SHANE McMAHON's DESK. Rockwell: "Those of you who saw War in the Winter saw what many consider to be an unfortunate and tragic event when Shane Thompson was kicked off the top of hell in a cell, courtesy of my wife. Well, I feel that Mr. Thompson got exactly what he had coming to him and I don't expect to see him on PrimeTime in the foreseeable future. Now...... JUST THEN, THE DOOR TO THE OFFICE SLAMS OPEN AND SEAN O'HAIRE ENTERS. O'Haire: "Just so you know, before you go making a rematch..... Edge had no rematch clause in the contract! This belt is mine"! Rockwell: "Well in that case, Shane McMahon and I will work to come up with a deserving challenger. (Rockwell stands up) Oh, and next time, knock before you come in, I don't wanna hand out a silly suspension tonight". O'HAIRE LEAVES THE OFFICE AND HE's NOT VERY HAPPY. MEANWHILE, FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION, SHANE McMAHON IS SHOWN SITTING ACROSS A TABLE FROMO TRAVIS WAKEMAN. A BRIEFCASE IS POPPED OPEN WITH A LARGE SUM OF MONEY IN IT. Shane McMahon: "So, do we have a deal"? Travis Wakeman: "I told you, it's not about the money, I have a couple issues". Shane: "I can't make any promises, but I'll see what i can do about lifting the new year's resolution from last year so you can win the Universal title again". Wakeman: "You do that and I'll continue to weigh my options". Shane: "Listen, you have been a staple of PrimeTime since we did the split, it has been your show.... don't throw that away". WAKEMAN GETS A CALL ON HIS CELL PHONE AND TELLS SHANE HE's GOTTA GO. SHANE JUST LETS OUT A SIGH. A PROMO GRAPHIC WITH THE PRIMETIME LOGO COMES UP. ONE SIDE HAS BATISTA AND MIKE AUSTIN WITH RIC FLAIR AND ON THE OTHER IS BOTH ROB VAN DAM AND RANDY ORTON. Cole: "Still to come is a collossal tag team match! Batista and Mike Austin will face Rob Van Dam and Randy Orton..... don't go away"! COMMERCIAL BREAK...... A COMMERCIAL FOR DR. PEPPER IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PREVIEW FOR THE MOVIE ELEKTRA. RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE..... AS PRIMETIME RETURNS, EDGE's BRAND NEW THEME SONG BY METALINGUS HITS AND HE RUNS OUT IN HIS TRENCH COAT TO A HUGE POP. Cole: "Back on PrimeTime and here comes the former, yes, the former Intercontinental champion and Jesse, there's nothing right about that"! Ventura: "Oh stop the sob story Michael, he got beat by a better man and as we found out a few minutes ago, he wasn't even smart enough to get a return match signed into the contract"! Cole: "Oh what the hell is this"?! JUST THEN, EDGE WAS ATTACKED FROM BEHIND BY BOTH AXL IRVIN AND ORLANDO JORDAN. Ventura: "This is gonna get ugly Cole"! Cole: "Edge was supposed to face Axl Irvin one on one but this has turned into a damn mugging"! AFTER HAMMERING EDGE, AXL RIPPED OFF HIS OWN SHIRT AND BEGAN CHOKING THE LIFE OUT OF EDGE. FINALLY, AGENTS CAME OUT FROM THE BACK TO BREAK IT UP. Cole: "C'mon, get him the hell outta here"! Ventura: "Look, there's Traci Brooks again"! AFTER IRVIN AND JORDAN LEFT, A CONCERNED TRACI BROOKS CAME OUT AND LOOKED AT EDGE. Cole: "She seems to be concerned with the fact that Edge has been totally annialated here"! Ventura: "Axl Irvin seems to have Edge's number Cole"! RAMPAGE REPLAY SHOWS KURT ANGLE AND JOHN CENA BECOMING THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS FOR THE TAG TEAM TITLES BY SURVIVING THE BATTLE ROYALE AND NEMESIS SAVING HIS TWF CAREER BY DEFEATING KARAM IBRAHIM, ALSO EARNING HIMSELF A KING OF CABLE TITLE SHOT. BACK TO LIVE ACTION, "EVOLUTION" BY MOTORHEAD IS PLAYING AND RIC FLAIR IS LEADING OUT BATISTA AND MIKE AUSTIN. Cole: "Tag team action on the way here Jesse and, conspicuous by her absence is Sable". VIDEO FOOTAGE IS SHOWN FROM WAR IN THE WINTER OF BATISTA DEFEATING RANDY ORTON. Ventura: "Batista wanted no part of her after he defeated Orton Michael and to be honest, I can't blame him! Batista is on the brink of superstardom"! Cole: "Well another winner at War in the Winter was his partner tonight, Mike Austin and his win may be even bigger". Ventura: "These guys hate Orton with a passion but now Austin has the power to select a new year's resolution and it could be anything"! Ric Flair: "Woooo! THE CROWD WOOS BACK. You are looking at two of the most powerful men in the TWF! Batista and the winner of this year's New Year's battle royale.... Mike "make 'em scream" Austin! But....... we have decided that since we have this tag team match tonight and since we are in a podunk city like this..... we are saving the announcement of the resolution until next week"! THE CROWD BOOS AS FLAIR GIVES THE MIC BACK TO RING ANNOUNCER HOWARD FINKEL. JUST THEN, "ONE OF A KIND" BY BREAKING POINT PLAYS AND ROB VAN DAM COMES OUT, STANDING IN FRONT OF HIS LOUD PYRO. Cole: "See, this is what I figured would happen. Is this gonna be Austin's resolution or Flair's"? Ventura: "Does it really matter Cole? They are a unit. I know you don't know what it's like to have that comraderie but these three will select that resolution together"! Cole: "Batista and Austin ready to take on RVD and this man..... GOLD PYRO BEGINS TO RAIN DOWN FROM ABOVE THE SET AS "BURN IN MY LIGHT" BY MERCY DRIVE PLAYS AND RANDY ORTON COMES OUT TO A GREAT POP. HE IS HOWEVER FAVORING HIS NECK. Ventura: "It seems to me that the golden boy is still feeling the effects of the beating he took at War in the Winter from Batista, Cole"! Cole: "Perhaps he is. But Randy Orton is a competitor. He is someone who's gonna keep coming at ya and while Batista may've won that match, he looks surprised that Orton is even out here tonight"! Ventura: "But how are he and RVD, two guys who haven't seen eye to eye in the past, gonna fare against two guys who have become established friends and associates"? Batista and Mike Austin w/ Ric Flair vs. Randy Orton and Rob Van Dam Mike Austin started things off with Orton and the two locked up. After pushing Austin to the corner, Orton showed his disdain for him by spitting at him. Austin jumped out with a look of rage in his eyes but Orton used a drop toehold into a side headlock. But Austin worked his way up and countered with a backkdrop suplex. Austin then shot him to the ropes but Orton came off with a shoulder tackle to knock him back down. Orton then hit the ropes and ducked a clothesline, stopping in his tracks to deliver a picture perfect dropkick. Orton then played to the crowd who clapped and cheered before he made the tag to RVD. Van Dam came in and tried to keep the pressure on Austin with his lightning quick feet but Austin pulled him into a hangman over the middle ring rope. He then tagged in a fresh Batista who used his knee to choke RVD over that middle rope. Batista had slowed RVD down totally and he whipped him to the ropes. But RVD ducked a clothesline and scored with a spin kick right on the mouth. RVD then hit the ropes but Batista grabbed him and drove him into the mat with a spinebuster. He made the cover but Orton came in to make the save. As referee Brian Hebner got Orton back to his corner, Batista and Austin made an illegal switch and used the tag rope to choke RVD. Austin then shot him to his own corner and charged in but he posted his left shoulder when RVD moved. RVD then hit a split legged moonsault to get the 1......2........, but Batista was in to pull him off. RVD tagged in Orton who ran over and drilled Batista with a running forearm shot. Flair got up on the apron but Orton dealt him a right hand as well. Just then, he was rolled up from behind by Austin who had a handful of trunks but he still couldn't get a 3 count. Orton then reversed an irish whip and lifted Austin way into the air with a backbody drop. Orton decided to follow it up by going for a cross body block off the top rope but Austin saw it coming and he moved out of the way. Orton crashed to the mat as Batista was tagged in. RVD tried to help his partner out but Flair grabbed him from behind and pulled him off the apron. Batista then lifted Orton up and drove him into the mat with the "Batista Bomb" and Hebner made the academic 3 count. Match Time: 8:30 Ventura: "That's twice! Twice now he's beaten Orton"! "EVOLUTION" PLAYED AGAIN AND FLAIR CAME IN AND PUSHED HEBNER ASIDE, RAISING THE HANDS OF HIS GUYS HIMSELF. Cole: "This Batista is a serious force, there's no doubt about that and Jesse, I just thought of this, Batista won last year's New Year's battle royale and Austin won the latest one! Can you imagine what kind of resolution these two are gonna have"?! Ventura: "Especially with the influence of the Nature Boy.... it could change the face of PrimeTime forever"! BACKSTAGE...... FROM AN UNKNOWN AREA, SEAN O'HAIRE IS SITTING ON A PLATFORM WITH HIS INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE. HE IS SURROUNDED BY HEIDENREICH, RHYNO, NAILS, RENE DUPREE AND LUTHER REIGNS. Sean O'Haire: "Now I don't know how much you guys like the New Breed but I can tell you I don't, especially since I was part of them at one time. So that is why we must revolt. They're gonna get Shane McMahon in their back pocket so we must put an end to this before they gain too much power. No matter how much you like or dislike the guy sitting next to you right now.... this must be a united front. Is everyone here with me"? All at once: "Yes"! COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR TRAVELOCITY.COM IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR EDGE ADVANCED GEL. RETURN FROM BREAK... RINGSIDE..... WHEN PRIMETIME RETURNS, "OVER MY HEAD" BY LIT IS PLAYING AND DYLAN JANSENS IS ON HIS WAY DOWN THE RAMP WITH HIS UNIVERSAL TITLE, SLAPPING HANDS WITH THE FANS. Cole: "Back on PrimeTime and here is your Universal champion and Jesse, DJ was part of one of, if not the most shocking incident in TWF history at War in the Winter"! Ventura: "And as Rockwell noted earlier Cole, he doesn't expect to see Shane Thompson anytime soon"! Dylan Jansens: "Since we are in charge tonight, I've decided to use my authority to set up another match. Actually, this will be a series of three matches and starting tonight, I will be giving a certain superstar here on PrimeTime a chance to get to that next level. Welcome to the Dragon's Lair challenge". Ventura: "The what"? Jansens: "Any man who can either defeat me, or last fifteen minutes against me will get a shot at this Universal title at the Royal Rumble! If no one can do it, I guess that means I get that night off. If all three of these guys do it, we will have a fatal four way, you get the picture. So with that said, bring out my opponent for round one"! THE LAUGH OF TED DIBIASE IS HEARD LOUDLY AND CHARLIE HAAS COMES OUT WITH HIM AS "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" PLAYS. Cole: "What an interesting concept Jesse and now, what an oppurtunity for Charlie Haas"! Ventura: "This is what makes PrimeTime the best wrestling program going today but you wanna talk interesting Michael, how 'bout that meeting we saw before the break"? Cole: "We knew the New Breed wouldn't make a lot of friends tonight but that could be a big problem down the line. In any event, Charlie Haas has gotten the first crack at the Dragon's Lair challenge"! Non-Title Match Dragon's Lair Challenge Round 1 Charlie Haas w/ Ted Dibiase vs. Universal champion Dylan Jansens As soon as the bell rang, Jansens grabbed the mic again. Jansens: "Oh.... this match has one special stipulation. Dibiase..... you have 10 seconds to go backstage or this match will be over before it starts"! The crowd loved the move as Jansens started the count. He got to 6 before Dibiase began to run to the back, barely beating the count. But Haas attacked Jansens from behind and then grabbed the microphone. He was ready to level Jansens with it but referee Mike Chioda ripped it out of his hand. Jansens then rolled him up for a 1......2......., but that was it. Haas was able to reverse an irish whip and he caught Jansens in position for the Exploder suplex but Jansens escaped with an elbow to the side of the head followed by an inverted atomic drop. Jansens then hit the ropes and connected with a cactus clothesline and he was really feeling it as the crowd could sense a quick victory. He pulled Haas up but Haas flung his arms up and connected with a succession of right fists. He then shot Jansens to the corner and followed in but DJ moved and lifted him up in the Dragon's Bane. Haas looked like he couldn't stand the pain but with his free hand he raked Jansens eyes, forcing a break of the hold. He then slid off his shoulders and rolled him up with a ton of leverage as Chioda made the 3 count. "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" PLAYED AND HAAS LEFT THE RING WITH BOTH ARMS IN THE AIR AS JANSENS LOOKED UNSURE OF WHAT EVEN HAPPENED. Match Time: 6:00 Cole: "Did he get him? Haas got him"! Ventura: "And what a win for Charlie, without Dibiase out here! I think Jansens is reconsidering this challenge"! Cole: "Well it hasn't started the way he would've liked to for sure because Charlie Haas has advanced to the Royal Rumble, which he won last year, and he will get that elusive title shot he's been looking for"! OFF AIR.........
