The stars of PrimeTime arrived in Winnipeg to the welcome of a full, exuberant Canadian crowd. It was the "go home" show before Foul Play and if it came across on tv as well as it did live, it was a gem. SMW Match: Johnny Swinger vs. Chad Collyer Two of SMW's finest met here and although Swinger controlled the match, Collyer was able to get the win with a bridge roll up. Sychotic vs. Psychosis This was a very good, fast paced match in the Lightheavyweight division. Sychotic was able to get near falls after a sit down spinebuster and a corkscrew off the top rope but as he charged at Psychosis, he was caught and turned over into a powerslam. Psychosis then grapevined his legs to help him get the 3 count. PRIMETIME GOES LIVE
"RAP SUPERSTAR" PLAYS AS PRIMETIME TAKES THE AIR ON FOX AND THE MONTAGE VIDEO RUNS, SHOWING ALL THE SUPERSTARS OF THE DIVISION. CLIPS OF TAYLOR MADE, PSYCHOSIS, SUPER CRAZY AND SOUL REAPER HAVE ALL BEEN ADDED TO ACCOMODATE PRIMETIME's PICKS IN THE TWF DRAFT. THE WINNIPEG ARENA COMES INTO VIEW, EXPLODING CHEERS FROM THE CROWD OF OVER 14,000 AS RHYNO's MUSIC HITS. MICHAEL COLE AND JESSE VENTURA OPEN THINGS UP FROM RINGSIDE, TELLING FANS THAT THEY WILL SET THE TABLE FOR FOUL PLAY TONIGHT. No DQS Rhyno vs. Tajiri Tajiri used his quick feet to blitz Rhyno and try to knot up his limbs. The strategy worked until he went for his springboard back elbow and Rhyno caught him, dumping him with a full nelson slam. Rhyno then threw Tajiri through the ropes to the floor before detaching the ring steps. He then blasted him in the head with the corner of the steps and repeated the process twice more. Tajiri was busted open and bleeding profusely as Rhyno then hit the "Gore" which drove the Buzzsaw through the barrier around the fans! "Holy Shit" chants became very prevalent as a concerned referee Mike Enos called for the bell, stopping the match to protect Tajiri's well being. Match Time: 3:57 AFTER THE MATCH, RHYNO GRABBED A MICROPHONE AND ISSUED A CHALLENGE TO ROME FOR FOUL PLAY, SAYING HE WANTS THE SAME NO DQ STIPULATION. From an unknown location, Muhammad Hassan and Tiger Ali Singh appear to a lot of heat. Hassan tells Dylan Jansens that he should hate America for things like the job he was once laid off from, the fact that the country let him live on the streets when he had nowhere else to go and he even went as far as saying the roads weren't safe enough to keep his girlfriend alive. But now that a match has been signed between the two for Foul Play, he's gonna take out all his frustrations with America directly on him! COMMERCIAL BREAK..... A VIDEO PACKAGE IS SHOWN HYPING THE DEBUT OF DRAFT PICK SUPER CRAZY. IT CONTAINS FOOTAGE FROM SLAUGHTERHOUSE AND HIS DAYS YEARS AGO IN ECW. Rob Conway w/ Ted Dibiase vs. Nick Dinsmore This was a great battle between two former tag team partners who know each other and each other's style quite well. Dinsmore got several near falls early on but while Dibiase had the attention of referee Brian Hebner, Conway kicked him in the groin. Conway then put the boots to him and drained some of his energy with some chokes. But when he went for a vertical suplex, Dinsmore slung over him and locked in the Million Dollar Dream! Dibiase watched in angst as Conway slowly went out. Hebner checked his arm and it dropped 3 times, giving the match to Dinsmore. Match Time: 9:23 BACKSTAGE AREA....... Rome tells Idalis that he will accept Rhyno's challenge for a match at Foul Play..... with No Disqualification rules. On the PrimeTron, the shot opens up in Chaos Wolf’s home in the Bronx. Wolf is sitting in a chair with his arm in a sling.
Chaos Wolf: "Hey guys what’s up"?
Michael Cole: "Thanks for joining us Chaos Wolf. Now from what we’ve been told, at WrestleMania you suffered a separated shoulder during the Light’s Out six Man Tag Team match".
Wolf: "Yes that is right and I will be out for six weeks, at least".
Jesse Ventura: "Wolf this is The Body. What do you have planned for when you return to the TwF"?
Wolf: "Well I might go after the LightHeavyweight Title or the Tag Titles with either Rockwell or Vlad".
Cole: "Just out of curiosity, why would you decide to team with Jordan Rockwell instead of Vlad the Impaler"?
Wolf: "Well Vlad has done the whole tag team thing many times and has grown a little sick of it but with Jordan, he hasn’t found the right person to team with".
Ventura: "We appreciate you joining us and we know your rehab is taking up most of your time, but that sure is a nice home you've got". Cole: "Anything else you wanna add before we let ya go"?
A woman says something from another room. Chaos Wolf responds to the voice and tells the person to come into the room.
Wolf: "I just want everyone to know that when I return I will make several of them victims".
The lovely former WCW Superstar Chae comes into the shot.
Wolf: "This is Chae, who happens to be a very good friend of mine and when I return, she will accompany me".
The live feed cuts out. Cole: "Wow, did you get a look at her"?! Ventura: "She's a knockout Michael! I don't feel so bad for him now". 6 Man Tag Sean O'Haire, Heidenreich and Jason Tiger Oliver vs. Vlad the Impaler, Strife and Bahamut It has been revealed that Vlad and O'Haire will battle for the Intercontinental title at Foul Play and the two aggressively went at each other here. But their teammates did no better at keeping their cool. Eventually, all 6 men spilled into the ring and Vlad avoided one of O'Haire's hook kicks before putting him down with an impaler DDT. Bahamut took Oliver out of the ring with a clothesline and after reversing an irish whip, Strife brought everyone in the crowd to their feet when he hit the swinging chokeslam on the massive Heidenreich to get the 1.........2..........3. Match Time: 8:33 COMMERCIAL BREAK......... RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE..... Edge comes out and is upset over some of the boos he is hearing from the crowd, asking the fans why they boo someone for chasing their dream. But before he can get too in depth, War on America comes out and Aries says he agrees with everything Muhammad Hassan said earlier, adding that someone who would throw away a title to pursue another is a "typical American thing to do". A hotheaded Edge calls both Aries and Hirohito to the ring and they come down. Edge charges them but is quickly overcome. War on America is handing him a serious beating until of all people, Jordan Rockwell runs out to a huge pop and clears both of them out of the ring with clotheslines. Edge is just as surprised as anyone to see Rockwell help him. Rockwell then leaves without saying a word. BACKSTAGE..... Dawn Marie comes up to Taylor Made, a recent PrimeTime draft pick, and looks him up and down. She comments that she can't believe what all the girls on Rampage saw in him and doubts that what she's heard about him is true. He looks her up and down and says judging by the way she's dressed, he does believe everything he's heard about her. Dawn is appauled by the comment but Taylor just walks away. Axl Irvin w/ Traci Brooks vs. A.J. Styles Axl attacked Styles from behind before the bell even rang to take the advantage early. But Styles came back with his legdrop followed by a legdrop off the middle rope. But Orlando Jordan ran out and got right in the way of referee Charles Robinson as Traci slid a steel chair into the ring. Axl picked it up as Styles grabbed him and Axl jammed it into his throat. He then delivered the "Axl Cutter" to get the win. Match Time: 3:12 AFTER THE MATCH, ROB VAN DAM RAN OUT AND TOOK JORDAN DOWN WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK BUT BEFORE HE COULD ENTER THE RING, AXL CROWNED HIM WITH THE CHAIR TOO BEFORE STANDING OVER HIM WITH TRACI AT HIS SIDE AND HOLDING THE CHAIR UP IN THE AIR TO SOME VERY LOUD BOOS. COMMERCIAL BREAK....... RETURN FROM BREAK.... BACKSTAGE...... Idalis asks Jordan Rockwell the question that is on everyone's mind, why did he help Edge? But Rockwell says he wants Edge at his best because he doesn't want to hear any excuses when he defeats him at Foul Play. #1 Contender for Lightheavyweight Title Challenger: Akio vs. Chavo Guerrero These two men fought to a time limit draw in the opening bout of the Lightheavyweight Invitational at WrestleMania and they had another long, back and forth match on this night. Chavo really wants to get a shot at getting his title back but he couldn't hit the "Gory Bomb", seeing Akio counter it into a backslide and pin his shoulders to the mat for the 3 count. Match Time: 12:07 COLE AND VENTURA RUN DOWN THE UPDATED, FINALIZED CARD FOR FOUL PLAY. MATCHES JUST ADDED: Rome vs. Rhyno- No DQs Muhammad Hassan vs. Dylan Jansens Axl Irvin vs. Rob Van Dam Tag Team Titles: Jason Oliver and Heidenreich vs. Strife and Bahamut The preview graphic for the matches has the standard chalk line that police use to outline a dead body with the Foul Play logo surrounding it, a very cool effect. Ric Flair vs. Batista Flair knew he had to come at Batista right away and he did, hitting him with a combination of chops and right hands. But they hardly phased the animal and Flair quickly dropped to his knees and called a time out. Batista grabbed him and lifted him up for a gorilla press slam followed by a serious clothesline. After bulldozing him with another clothesline, Batista had Flair set up for the "Batista Bomb" but Mike Cirianni ran out. Batista pounded him with a running forearm before hitting a spinebuster on a charging Flair to get the 1.......2........3. Match Time: 6:09 AFTERWARDS, BATISTA PULLED CIRIANNI IN FOR THE "BATISTA BOMB" BUT JUST LET HIM GO WITH A LAUGH AS IF TO SAY, "I'LL SAVE THAT FOR FOUL PLAY". CIRIANNI PULLED FLAIR INTO HIM AND THE TWO LEFT, LOOKING VERY WORRIED. COMMERCIAL BREAK........ RETURN FROM BREAK..... RINGSIDE..... Charlie Haas w/ Ted Dibiase vs. Randy Orton Orton looked as good as he ever has, this being possibly his most solid performance in his young career. Although Haas showed his metal with a ton of resiliency, Orton had an answer for any offensive move he tried. Dibiase got out some money, seemingly trying to bribe referee Mike Chioda but it didn't seem to matter as Chioda yelled for him to get down. During that struggle, Shane Thompson came down the ramp and into the ring. He held his Universal title belt up and took a swing with it at Orton but struck Haas when Orton moved! Thompson had to get out of the ring before Chioda saw him and Orton then hit the "R-K-O" to get the win. Match Time: 11:08 AFTER THE MATCH, THOMPSON WALKED AWAY LOOKING AT ORTON, WHO WAS MOTIONING AROUND HIS WAIST THAT THE TITLE WILL SOON BE HIS. OFF AIR.......
